Ali bin Musa al-Rida was the eighth Imam of the Twelver Shia Muslims and a prominent Shia scholar. He was born in Medina and succeeded his father, Imam Musa al-Kadhim, as the Imam of the Shia community. Ali bin Musa al-Rida is known for his wisdom, compassion, and knowledge of Islamic law. He is revered by Shia Muslims for his role in preserving and transmitting Shia traditions and teachings.
