Ali Ashgar

Ali Ashgar, 32, pleaded guilty to illegal firearm possession, ammunition violations, and breaching a weapons ban. He was found with a homemade 9mm gun during a drug raid in his family home, which also housed his two-year-old daughter. Despite his lawyer’s plea for leniency, Ashgar was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison.
