Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford
Alfredo Saad-Filho is a Brazilian-British academic and writer. He is a professor of international relations at the University of Oxford and has written extensively on politics, economics, and international relations. Saad-Filho was born in 1958 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He studied at the University of São Paulo and later earned a Ph.D. in international relations from the University of Oxford. Saad-Filho has written several books on politics and international relations, including "The Legacy of Evil: Totalitarianism in the Twentieth Century". He has also been a frequent contributor to various media outlets, including The Guardian and The New York Times.
