Alfred Nobel

Alfred Nobel was a Swedish chemist, engineer, and inventor. He is best known for establishing the Nobel Prizes, which are awarded annually in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and peace. Nobel was born in 1833 in Stockholm, Sweden, and died in 1896. He was a prolific inventor and held over 350 patents in his name. Nobel was also a successful businessman and owned several companies, including the Dynamite Company. He was known for his reclusive nature and was the subject of several conspiracy theories during his lifetime.
