Alfonsina Storni

Alfonsina Storni was a Uruguayan poet and writer. She is considered one of the most important female writers of the 20th century in Uruguay. Storni was known for her poetry and essays, which often explored themes of love, nature, and social justice. She was also a strong advocate for women's rights and education. Storni was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and died there in 1938. She is still widely read and studied today.
