Alberta Premier

The Premier of Alberta is the head of the government of Alberta, Canada. The Premier is the leader of the party or coalition with the most seats in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. The Premier is responsible for appointing the cabinet and advising the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta on the exercise of the Governor General's powers in Alberta. The Premier is also the leader of the opposition in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
