Alan Kazlev

Alan Kazlev is a paleontologist and educator with a focus on Burgess Shale fossils. He has taught at several universities and has written several books on the subject. Alan holds a Ph.D. in paleontology from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently a professor emeritus at a private institution. In his free time, Alan enjoys gardening and playing chess. He is originally from San Francisco.
