Abdulhakim Qasim is a Syrian economist and researcher who has worked extensively on the economic impact of conflict in the Middle East. He has written numerous articles and research papers on the topic and has been a frequent commentator on economic issues in the region. Qasim has a Ph.D. in economics from a prominent university and has taught economics at several institutions. He is based in Damascus, Syria.
