Aaron Hague

Aaron Hague is a man convicted of killing his roommate, John McClelland, in 2020. Hague admitted to the crime but claimed it was in self-defense, a claim that was rejected by the jury. Prosecutors argued that the murder was premeditated for financial gain, as Hague spent nearly $3K on property, took McClelland’s cars, and filed unemployment in his name. McClelland vanished after sending cryptic texts asking for $8K, and his body was never found. Hague fled Alaska and was later arrested in Oregon with IDs and belongings of another man, Anthony Alcorn, who was found dead.
