Zarnoch Death Inquiry Halted, Full Hearing in March

Zarnock died in his cell at Keyham Lane Police Station back in September 2023. He had been arrested on September 3rd for the kidnapping of Gabriela Koselko and charged the next day with her murder. Reports say he used a ligature and went undiscovered for 11 hours. The independent office for police conduct launched an investigation right away. They looked into three police officers and four civilian staff members but dropped any criminal case early on. Still, the officers got gross misconduct notices and the staff faced disciplinary action. Investigators zeroed in on risk assessments, supervision levels, and whether cell checks followed proper procedures. The office shared sympathies with Zarnock's family and everyone impacted. Today's session turned into another pre-inquest review, with a full one now set for March 19th.
