0:00On April 6th, a 20-year-old man from the Croscar area named Fion Brandigan has died following a road crash in County Antrim. It happened in the early hours of Easter Sunday on Castle Cat Road near Davok, marking another tough loss on Northern Ireland's roads. Police got the call just before 1am about a grey BMW involved in the collision. Emergency crews rushed the driver to the hospital, but he sadly passed away from his injuries there. His family shared a heartfelt notice calling him the dearly beloved son of Leanne and Philip, cherished brother to Lucy and a much-love grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Funeral arrangements are set for noon, on Wednesday, at Mary Mother of the Church in Sainfield, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery at AT, Kilkiron. He's now the 21st person killed on Northern Ireland rose this year, more than doubled a number from the same point last year, leaving us all. To think hard about staying safe out there.
