The Queensland Academy of Sport launched the U42032 app last August to make scouting easier for young talent statewide. The free app lets users age 13-23 for Olympic sports or 13-30 for Paralympic ones film themselves doing basic moves like jumping and sprinting. Artificial intelligence checks their speed, power, and form in real time to spot potential for 15 Olympic events and seven Paralympic ones from boxing to hockey. Nearly 6,000 downloads later, top performers will soon get invites to hands on tests during the Academy's regional tours.
