Yavapai College's Career and Technical Education Center, CTEC, will host an open house on Saturday, April. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at Tech in Prescott, 220 Ruger Road, just four days later on Wednesday, April. 15. The Verde Valley campus will host its open house from 4 to 6 p.m. at 601 Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale, in building M, room 137. Both events are an excellent opportunity for members of the public to explore Yavapai College's curriculum, learn about financial aid options to help pay for their education, and speak directly with faculty and staff about academic and career goals. The open house at Tech on April 11 will afford those in attendance to tour the state of the art facility, meet with faculty members to learn more about the different program options, and submit their free admission application on site. There will also be a car show taking place in the parking lot during the event. The programs available through Tech include 3D printing,

automation, automotive, auto body, and paint, aviation, CNC slash machining, construction, diesel technology, drones, electrical instrumentation, engineering, gunsmithing, manufacturing, and welding. The Verde Valley campus open house on April 15 offers a great, no pressure way to test drive Yavapai College's 100-plus degree in certificate programs and find one that matches your ambitions. The Verde Valley open house promises to be an informative afternoon. Instructors and experts will feature the college's trade and health sciences classes and are available to answer any questions. Both events are open to all and is free of charge. Community members are urged to attend for food and raffle drawings. Prizes include a free three credit class, a Chromebook, AirPods, and more.
