Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot may be moving forward without two of the franchise's most popular mutants! A new report claims Magneto and Gambit will NOT appear in the upcoming MCU X-Men movie, raising some major questions about Marvel's plans for its new mutant era.

On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we discuss why Marvel might choose to leave Magneto and Gambit out of the first X-Men movie, whether that's actually the right decision, and which characters could take their place on the team.

Marvel has already started assembling its new generation of mutants with Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue and Storm, while Mister Sinister and Emma Frost are expected to play major roles. With Magneto reportedly sitting this one out — and Wolverine also expected to be absent — could Marvel be deliberately trying to give audiences an X-Men story completely different from the Fox movies?

And what does no Gambit mean for Rogue? Could Marvel be saving that relationship for a sequel or another MCU project?

Plus, new Rogue actress Inde Navarrette is already lining up her next major project. Following her X-Men casting, Navarrette has joined the upcoming sci-fi movie The Waffle House Index from Apple Studios and Plan B.

We also discuss the first reactions to Practical Magic 2. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are finally back together for the long-awaited sequel, but the initial social media response appears decidedly mixed. Can nostalgia and the original movie's cult following still turn Practical Magic 2 into a theatrical hit?

The big question today is whether Marvel Studios is making the right call by launching its X-Men franchise without Magneto and Gambit. Magneto has dominated many previous X-Men movies, so giving the character a break could allow Marvel to focus on villains we haven't seen nearly as much on the big screen. But leaving Gambit out when Rogue is already part of the team could be a much more controversial decision.

We break down Marvel's potential strategy, who could still join the team, and how the MCU can make its version of the X-Men feel different from everything that's come before.

If you're a fan of X-Men, Magneto, Gambit, Rogue, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Professor X, Marvel Studios, MCU, Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock, or Nicole Kidman, this episode is for you!

Much more deep. Oh. Great. Perfect. Haven't seen Dry Sea. Oh, I got nothing from you. I can hear nothing from you. Yeah, I can hear nothing from you. Zero. Silt. Fuck off. There you go. Welcome back, everybody. Beat it. Welcome back, everybody. And it's nice to have everybody here, including Pieldy. So we're going to be going over not only the Avengers story that just broke lower X-Men rather.

That we'll see two more X-Men popping up news that just popped up for me that I was excited about was the potential of a Dungeons and Dragons sequel. That's pretty awesome. So we'll talk about that. We'll talk about some other things going on in the world of movie news. And then I have my writing partner and co-star of trending the pilot, the 30 minute pilot that I am that you guys know about that we've been talking about. So what I would love for you to do is start throwing in questions. And you don't have to put it, which is going to as soon as they come in it can be in the regular chat, they'll be super chats, whatever kind of chat you want. Pieldy is going to star them. So that way when we get martini in here, we have loads of questions for her. And we'll talk about that. And more on the show today. So let's get into it, everybody. It's Cristiano Show. Here we go.

Welcome back to the show. Everybody. It is. The hell is today. I don't know. Hey, Pieldy is the super chat thing started. It's good. We just don't have any questions yet, which is fine by me. I'm just curious. Okay. We'll see if martini can actually beat Rokka. That would be hilarious if she did. I think he's on the I think he's still in the lead. I hate to tell you that Pieldy, but Rokka is in the lead. Anyway, so a lot of great things happening. I still am not able to share the amazing news that we got yesterday, but people have having some great theories. And I've seen a couple of people get close to at least one of the real good pieces of news that we got. And we'll be able to discuss it. We're not too far away from all this stuff. And man, check this out. This happened earlier today. And you guys really made this happen. Check it out. We are currently at two thousand and twenty six followers on the kickstarter right now. And I cannot I cannot thank you enough. And we're still,

you know, we've got we got a lot to do. We got a lot to do because we are going to do it really aiming towards that five thousand. I mean, that's going to be a big start for us to do when the project launches. So if you guys, if you haven't hit that button, please do so. And yeah, so it's really exciting. I feel like more people will hit the button. Even more, when I'm able to give that news, I just can't give it yet. But I think everybody's going to want to be part of this project and see it come from where it is. So anyway, again, make sure you put those questions in for martini when she gets in here. But we're going to discuss some stuff together. Us crew. And let's check it out. Let's start with let's start with this one. The accident. These two fan favorite mutants are reportedly going to be missing from the reboot. Some more news coming from the accident. I'm before I even read this yet. And I'm hoping

someone told me I might have one of the comments or still me yesterday. I might have a slight allergy to almonds. I think you might be right. But that's for another discussion. These two fan favorite mutants will reportedly be missing from the reboot. Marvel Studios X-Men Reboot is quickly taking shape and a new rumor claims to reveal two fan favorite mutants will be missing from the movie. I'm hoping it's Wolverine and and Rogue. And I'll tell you why. Marvel Studios Untitled X-Men Reboot has, what's obviously not Rogue you idiot. You know what I mean? I don't know what I mean. So if you know what I mean, good, good on you. Marvel Studios Untitled X-Men Reboot has started assembling its cast, but the team definitely feels incomplete. Beast is still expected to join. Both Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue and Storm, but will that be it? When the X-Men debuted, it was with a five-person team. Rogue and Storm were in part of the lineup and said we had Angel and Iceman. And with that mind, perhaps we should expect one more addition to the Ensemble for Camera Star Rolling.

X-Men's going to be led by Professor X-Felm, Mr. Sinister. And Emma Frost are expected to be the primary antagonist. There is a chance the latter is aligned with the Mutant Heroes as for Magneto or heard conflicting reports whether or not the Master of Magnetism will be included in this fresh start of the franchise. Plus with Rogue and the mix, many fans hope that Gambit won't be too far behind. Well, while it could have been done aligned, it doesn't sound like it's in the works just yet. According to Night Edge media Caleb Williams, neither Magneto nor Gambit will appear in X-Men. It's going to disappoint some fans, but it's not hugely surprising. I need to with the big bad. Yeah, I mean, I do. Okay. So those two characters, I'll tell you what, peeled. Oops, that's not here yet. PLD, I like this. I'll tell you why. Because it's almost like, I mean, look, Magneto eventually does team up, help them and all this things too. But if you're going to introduce him again as a big bad, right? He'd do Joker style. Like you did, right at the

end of Batman begins. You bring him in and you go, oh, at the very end, you tease him. Some metal shit is moving in a post credit scene. You're like, oh, here he comes. And you build towards in the same way you build towards Wolverine. Right. I would say also, it's on a throwout there. The difference between like, because you always talk about DC having to build out with that man, Superman or whatever. Yeah. They don't need to do that quite with X-Men. We have a good already have this already fascinating. Like, the MC was already strong enough that they can survive and tease it out this way. And the original X-Men weren't like Wolverine wasn't part of that in a way. You got to get him on later on. That's nice tease to get on to the next one at this point. I like it. Yeah. Me too. And people are excited enough to see how they'll, it's not like they're like, oh, I just want Wolverine. And if he's not in it, I'm not watching X-Men. No one's saying that. No one. And they're going to watch. Yeah. Because they want to build towards it. Because like you said, we've had enough of those characters beforehand. Plus the fact, both Gambit and Wolverine, you got to transition as smoothly as you can away from Q Jackman. And then now Channing Tatum. You're so weird. Your Channing Tatum is going to have a big role at least or moments at least in

this, he could wind up dying in that scene, Wishung Chi for all we know. But he's still Channing Tatum. He's still continuing over from a big impact in Paul Wolverine. So leading into this, it makes sense to me that you would do that. But you have to like gradually then bring in Gambit because of the relationship he has with Rogue. Watch us. It's you Gambit is also another one who is not brought into the array. I'm going to start out with the young X-Men. They're trying to do a younger X-Men group. It feels like so go with that and wait till Gambit comes in. What do you normally would have come in? That just makes sense to me. I agree. And I think that you kind of have said, I even see some people, why not leave Wolverine if he's one of your best guys? Because the problem with that is that you got you you might run into the same problem that you ran into with the old X-Men movies. And that's everybody just Q Jackman. He's the star. That's your movie. That's it. It's not a Batman movie. It's not a what you get. It's not standalone. They did a Wolverine thing. You want to make sure that these characters Cyclops Storm, Rogue, they can all stand on their own and get popular and then introduce Wolverine because they've got enough of that IP behind them.

Exactly. I was just about to say is like you got you want to let these characters get their own shot, their own spotlight. It's like if Wolverine's in there, it's all about Wolverine. Now he's not. Now you can actually see Cyclops get his do. See Jean Gregg get her do. See Rogue get her do, etc. That's where you go. Agreed. So anyway, I'm very curious what other people think about this. Do you think that this makes sense to not have these two? Should they have more? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know. Again, I there's another story that actually popped up that I really I think is interesting. No, I don't know if how my friends sent me this. So I don't know how like legit this is or what this is in general, but it's a fun little debate anyway. I am really excited for the Game of Thrones movie that is coming out. I think a lot of you guys are. But this has been going around for a bit. Hoping that Henry Cavill is going to be

Aegon the Conqueror. Now apparently this particular Instagram article says that Henry Cavill is being considered for the role of Aegon. Let's see the actor is circulating among fans though as a potential choice. So that's it with Cavill already. Okay, so this is he's not really being considered I think, but I know it's not it's not I still wanted to cover it because it's not necessarily a story that is breaking, but my friend had asked me to say thing is do you think this is the way to go by having like a well-known person play Aegon? I said, I kind of think you do for this one. At least someone recognizable now whether or not it's Henry Cavill. I don't know about I think Henry Cavill. People would get pretty excited about that. Seeing what Aegon can do and the more and more I watch House of the Dragon, the more and more I want to see this movie because he's mentioned so much and what he did and the lore of how the he's helped unite the kingdoms and do everything that he did and that the big kind of overall

battle or wars that and to see it a Game of Thrones movie finally on screen I think that they had enough of a belt kind of in IP that this is the way to go for this movie. No, whether or not it's Cavill or not is irrelevant at this point. I think that you do have to get someone that people are going to get excited about to see. But you know whether or not it is going to be him, I do not know. What do you guys think about him? Do you like who's going to do you like the idea of Cavill? Do you think it should be somebody else? I don't know put your thoughts in there. Tell us what you think about it. The other thing that I have to talk about I have to talk about this because it was I was I had no interest really. I shouldn't say no interest but I was curious when the first Dungeons and Dragons came out and I was like okay you know like remember they had one a while ago and that kind of stunk. Well then the movie came out and I loved it. I loved it. I think I saw twice in the theater.

I think so. Is that true? I don't remember but I definitely said they did. I did see it just peeled the notes better than I do. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I saw twice in the theater. It makes sense. I think it took maybe I took my daughter's I don't remember but either either way I remember really being hyped up for it and really loving it and then I think and then I saw it again when it came out on on digital watch with my family and we all liked it so it was it just didn't do very well and now it's looking for a new home. It underwhelmed at the box office 208 million from 150 million budget. I mean that's bad. It's not good but it was received. So well what peeled it? What's the Rotten Tomatoes score on that and what's the odd I'm going to guess I'm going to guess that the Rotten Tomatoes score is 82. I'm going to guess that the audience score is 89. We weigh off on that but I'm curious to see. But it does have an enthusiastic fan following. The title we're seeing praise from critics and there are many new fans in three years since it's released with people clicking with the tumor. It's tone, it's performances. Now while out promoting

their new action company Mayday, Daily and Goldstein say that the rights holder has borrower reminds determined to find a new home for the sequel after Paramount Skydance passed on making another. They tell the playlist what was it purely? It is 91% of critics and 93% of audience. So high. So I mean you can see why they're trying to get something done because those who have seen it love it. Both critics and audiences and it keeps building up. So they tell the playlist they already completed a screenplay for the sequel and hope another stew recognized the value of continuing the franchise. Ask whether anyone was still trying to make the economics work on a follow up. They say absolutely. I think Hasbro is a big believer in it and they can figure out a studio partner to make it work. They'll want to proceed as our producers. I mean look, it's something that is near and dear to our hearts that we loved making the first one. We fell in love with the characters and there's so much potential in the sequel because the first act isn't filled with exposition or introduction to this family and we've already become accustomed. So you can kind of launch right into the story which is really nice and there are practical

realities with the finance contingent and who knows whatever gets made but we're proud of the sequel script and hope that some point it does find a path. So the financial failure is seen as bad timing. It came out four days before the Super Mario Brothers movie and a month after the Wizards the Coast change official gaming license which led fans to boycott the franchise for a period. Oh that's interesting. I didn't know that. Well I think that what I'm curious about is they're doing this movie with Apple. Why doesn't Apple give it a shot? To see what Apple would do with it. I mean in Netflix both of those that would be that would be pretty great. It's interesting too because Netflix is developing the series the Ravenloft series which are D&D campaign setting. I know Alfonso Coron is like involved as an executive producer. So they should know Netflix could be a whole dungeon dragon. I love you see that. Maybe it was so good. It was just such a good movie. The chemistry was good. It was a good balance. That's the kind of tone that I would have been all for when it came to Masters of the Universe

because people really really I think well I am misjudged. My thoughts on it when I said that the goofy jokes and it was always goofy when kind of growing up and it's like you can make something still light and a bit cheesy but have humor in a real story not step on the jokes. I thought Dungeons and Dragons did that masterfully. No pun intended. I think that if you did that again on streaming you could really I mean for some of the money that they put like how much did that that Gal Gadot movie cost that this did on Amazon Prime. Look at that budget Peelety. I'm going to guess that that budget was like 90 to 100 million dollars. Right and you know we've seen the theater it's Amazon Prime thing. What? I mean Prime pick it up. Probably be perfect for I mean it primes going all in on yeah go ahead. They haven't officially announced

anything but like the estimate is a 50 to 65 million for that. Okay well and then so Masters of Universe though was like 170 right and that and that movie made how much of the box office overall because you know if you could put 130 into a sequel Dungeons and Dragons 2 for Amazon Amazon the more more here myself say it I think Amazon sounds like the best place. Yeah probably it's funny you throw it out there. It's Thor Ragnar offers his love and thunder. It's like Dungeons and Dragons versus Master of the Universe. That's what like Tom goes. Agreed. Agreed. I think that's exactly right. I think that where Ragnar rock knew its tone knew the balance. Right. Love and thunder lost it completely. Dungeons and Dragons knew the tone. Master's lost it completely. Yeah Master Universe was 170 to 200 million. And how much did it make? Box office 113. Yeah. Right. That's a major loss. Yes. A major loss but they're probably going to do a sequel for it. That's 100. I know that was my count how scary I think. Maybe so. I do think though

because I mean and maybe it's just because Basel's loves Masters and that's why it's going to get a sequel but you if you're going to justify maybe it did that movie would Dungeons 2 would do very well on streaming. Oh absolutely. It's got that built in audience now. It's something that cult classic already at this point. Or if you're Netflix or if you're Netflix you do give it the you know the two-week in theater I max. Yeah. So I don't know. I hope I'm rooting for that movie to get us to because I thoroughly enjoyed that one. The last thing that I'm going to touch upon here before we go to the sponsors and come back with Martinez. So practical magic too. This is the other day I wasn't on the stream because I was Wednesday because I went to see practical magic too. I'm just getting sappy in my old age PLD but like I I had I had a good time with this movie and I thought that kind of old school 90s feel for it.

They felt like I did feel what I did see in this what I'm about to talk about here is what I agree with some of these critics is that the movie is too long. It is about the original was like 140 or something. This is like 210 or something. It's way too long. That is my that's my biggest criticism with a brochure because it's like you're going to lose people and I think the third act kind of loses its hope for a little bit or loses its it's glue for a bit and it's kind of just you're like oh we're getting to the end okay so but the first two acts really they had me after the chemistry was really good. I liked watching Sandra Bull come back that the Joey King was really solid in it and I thought that they had a I had that I had a good rapport but I seem to myself and Tom Chalabashway sat next to seem to be the only people who enjoyed this because it's not getting good reviews. It's practical magic too fails to cast a spell

first reactions to the sequel arrive this is from comic book movie what do they say all right. Mark Cassidy says 28 years after the first movies released the cold kibmen Sandra Bullock are set to reunite as modern day witch sisters Julian and Sally for practical magic too. Sequel is going to hit on the 11th of September and the first reactions are now being shared. Let's see we're going to go to some of these reactions which Mark Zammett said I had to watch this as the hype about practical magic too coming on. I love Sandra Bullock, Lone Nicole, Kibmen but I have to say this film is terrible. Wow I disagree with that Mark Zammett but hey Zammett's opinion. Zammett didn't like it. I don't know more Xamett but he didn't like he said it's terrible. I don't know about terrible. I mean it's a terrible movie. I don't know this is terrible. Simon Thompson who I liked it's disappointingly tepid sequel that fails to conjure up much of anything including the original whimsy out of one 30 minutes over long couldn't agree more with that pacing is off at the end I agree

with that and the third act feels fumbled I agree with that. It's a wasted opportunity. There's sadly little charm or magic. I'm not going to say it's a wasted opportunity because it's going to help a pretty bang a lot of people are going to see this film. So I wouldn't go with that aspect but I agree with it. I see where Simon was coming from Courtney Howard said she's mixed tangible cold comments chemistry carries the film agreed 30 minutes too long agreed with a lot to shoe leather daughters dynamic dealt short shrift makes you work overtime don't give a good the manic resonance a soundtrack left lacking hits okay I can't argue with a lot of that and it's tough. Practical magic too is the life of the cozy and charming sequel with a hefty amount of heart that is short to please longtime fans and of the beloved original. Bullock and Kim and still out the magic King Williams pace of terrific new additions especially the latter who is secretly charming here in the expansion of the Owens lore mythology makes for fun spooky adventure it runs a little too long in the tooth and unfortunately sidelines some characters but this long awaited sequel certainly proves some good things are worth waiting for okay he dug it

so where else anything else worth kind of checking out here makes bag same thing I don't think PLD that this these reviews this is one of those movies that reviews ain't gonna mean you should they're using can mean nothing. Bull that proof yeah for the for the opening weekend for sure now we'll see I think that the audience I think the I think that the people that are looking forward to seeing this movie like fans are gonna really dig this movie I think they're gonna they're gonna feel like it's perfect. I mean they've been wrong but I don't think this is for I mean I don't think critics are gonna have any impact on this sometimes critics can really have an impact on it this is one of those movies that they don't the people who are ready who got their tickets on give you a shit but it's also that being said it's not gonna get new people in here like you know maybe look what it could do is maybe someone's like oh I didn't really saw the first one should I go check it out the second one's getting better reviews I don't want to see it that's possible

but we'll see all right well what do you guys think you give a shit put your thoughts in there let us know we are gonna get to a few things here today but Martini Peratori my writing partner and co-star of training will be here in just a little bit please please please start asking and I'm sure if I'm not mistaken already Sam probably has already asked questions well we'll see getting some of those stored questions in there make sure that you ask as many questions again we're gonna do a full Q&A not just to Martini ask me to about pilot other things that where we have going on with it we'll go a little bit more and tell you whatever we can about the story and other things too and things you want to know about it as we're leading up to it because you've been asking me such wonderful questions over the last couple the last week please we'll have her here too much you guys to get to know her a little bit more too and with that being said I'm gonna tell you guys real quick about our two wonderful sponsors today we'll be right back in just a moment that's right you ready oh no not yet I'm sorry thank you

so much to cash app and calcium for being part of the show and thank you you guys this whole week and people realize it you guys always know that you watch this show long enough you know important is for the sponsors keep everything going on so thank you guys for doing that thank you for continuously being here and you know ask them questions and being part of it I think what I'll do until Martini gets here is anything non trending related that I can get you now you I mean you guys can still put those types of questions in for the rest of the show too but I'm gonna read some of these and Ron H. Happy Friday all it's trusted into media with BBC know everybody here I very Christian will watch Hollywood so can you be trusted maybe well again I didn't watch it yet you never know you never want you never know that one from Danny is a trending it's all wheat if I reviews 450 jewels from figures thank you so much okay same thing else the new from from from from the glorious past me if I 100 jewels high five thank you

Dave G 750 jewels football thank you let's say okay and what this is very this is a great question this is a great question Nathan Drake in what world would you think you'd want more dungeons and dungeons and dragons equals but not more he man equals I could watch five more of those dungeons and dragons movies are so good I'm with you yeah I mean I still think that there's more stuff I think so there's more stuff that we can you know you could do with masters and maybe maybe they you can always change a tone you know and you can always pull back on jokes a little bit too sometimes people feel like wow we went so far the first time you know we pull back now pull back a little bit maybe the second one is significantly better because do we know any movies like that that the first one just wasn't that great but the second one was awesome I know we do but I'm coming hard time taking off top my head some of the movies that have come out that we that we like some people would say bad boys too was you better than bad one yeah I have to go back on

I was like my kooka was always the bad boys yeah um yeah I'm trying to think like what movies like but bad boys one I remember being good yeah was solid it's like it's like it's like you know I don't mean what sequel was better in general I mean what would be just the first one was like you know that right why are you making another one um Martin Martin he's got to do the the thing for my car so just just got to our track too yeah but that was the first one was still the first one was still I mean then you know you could say same Superman too but like that again that's the sequel the Superman one was great so I don't know um but yeah all right you know them all throughout there mission impossible much later on became a mission possible franchise long after the debut of it like they really get to be yeah yeah but it's still but mission impossible is still good movie yeah it was still good um all right let's say and then this is great Barion is like this one in general more news stories need to end with what do you guys think

he give a shit I might as well I mean I think that I think that I've distinguished myself enough away from like you know if if if people were like a um a campy a fan which he's like he's like he's like the example of when you like when I go on his show I'm way more I respect full and contained of I'm still myself but I'm just contained in that he goes by like that old kind of school like ESPN by the book and he has funny he messes around he goes up but I I'm way looser on my show my my show is always fit like a like a podcast I think I'm always kind of in that broadcasting kind of way and yeah I don't really want to go into the broadcast side of things and there was my my thing I'm more so trying to talk to people the way that I would if I was sitting in there you know if I you and I were we're grabbing a slice of pizza I was like do we should we talk about this it gives a shit right right absolutely yeah um okay a lot of great

questions coming in for the show in general which we just she's she's just trying to get she's had some construction around her place so she's trying to get into a place where it's not too noisy which is fine now I'm gonna look at this while we do this um currently as I'm gonna look I'm gonna restart guys and see where you guys have gotten us thus far what a great gift to Martini would be two thousand thirty followers right now we started the less than two thousand P.L.T. so how about that love and a man love and a thousand and thirty right now and if we can get to twenty one hundred today that would be awesome we could I mean we could we can do that yeah and then there's more there's more questions coming in I'm just so it's like you know I've I I secretly told you the announcement yes and and I don't know if you brought it up on the show yesterday but I did tell you about it um that's gonna make people click oh absolutely right hundred percent I mean if I was if it's to me that's just like oh it just adds another bit of really just like oh this is

they're going for this I'm just glad you have a team to hold you back a little bit because I know how you get oh I want to tell everybody everything absolutely yeah I know and it's like it's it's you know my my goal was to actually make the announcement today right um but Andrew correctly who you know he was like as you'll see many impressions of Andrew that I do and let's wait make sense let's get let me get a little closer I'll be doing once you learn more once once people get to know Andrew more it'll be even better because when I you when I met him um year and year and year we were hanging out we used to watch the two shows we'd watch all the time together was a west wing and sopranos right and then he's like why are we why are we going out and grips down my couch and we have some people over sopranos in the couch

it's like a match yeah it's my got a friend right there actually a couch and so um anyway he would so we'll we'll get to that announcement um and I can't wait well hopefully we may have some more yeah and then I get say I sent Craig some stuff and other things to about it and I just like just knowing that as we're building in the audience it's the audience starting to get hyped up too and I just on the schmodown channel today I've I've been putting I've been peppering in the the announcement to each video that we did like this morning I didn't for schmodown I put it we did the boba fed episodes five through seven is are those up by the way or you couldn't do it at all yeah hopefully today if not today then definitely tomorrow okay um so yeah it's um this is a uh I've been just been telling everybody about it we put that there we did sam and I did shoot the Mandalorian season three episodes one and two you know so funny is that she really does have those like uh that's almost at the same kind of taste as

restful I'd I did not lead her down any path during what's whoever and I almost like try to like fake or into liking it into into into like watch first she's after the first episode I was like what do you think she's all right and she loves Mandalorian she loves it but she watched the episode one she's like all right and then second one she's like she's so many characters like the pirates she could she could fill you a cartoon I was like I didn't say anything I didn't say anything and and then by the second I was like it's better but she's like I don't know if I wasn't excited by this it's a good better I'm like I will I say you say you said the same thing about and or season two and I'm and in my head I'm going it gets worse like just wait until the the the the jack black episode oh god I'm dreading that episode but um but you know oh Christopher Lloyd watch of a Christopher Lloyd yeah I do think though I will tell you this as much as I am not a fan of the Mandalorian and Grogu movie I think she's going to like that movie

oh I think she's gonna love that movie because it's them it's all about them the entire time it's not only just about them she's not waiting for a movie for Star Wars to hit the theater yeah five or six years or seven years later after the last one hit there's no expectations what so ever all she's watching is another episode that's what this movie is it's just another episode it doesn't really do anything for the Lord doesn't do anything but if you like the show it's an episode and you're watching it at home yeah and you're watching it at home you're just watching so I I think that she is going to um really wind up digging in I think some of those have to find stupid but I I think she'll like it um but we'll see so our plan with Sam is to then to is to do um Mandalorian season three finished that up then we're gonna get into the Mandalorian Grogu then we're gonna head back into the DCEU for a little bit and then we're gonna hop into the X-Men so when we when we are in the height of the Kickstarter campaign the X-Men movies will be

on the channel two things are you gonna do the Asoka fan edit thing and all are you waiting yes but that won't but that won't be until because when it when it when it's it come out season two January I think it's January is it January yeah okay um all right so we'll probably do that the two of us will probably do that in in in probably probably in January right probably watch it the easiest one all right all right yeah I don't want to talk to you right fine all right uh all right so as I've been telling you guys that this whole week once again I don't even think I don't even think she knows so I'll give her this update as well when she's watching it from the the waiting room we currently if you go to the page currently right now a refresh we'll see where at when I refresh it when I refresh as of right now we are at two thousand thirty one followers on the Kickstarter which is great now I hope we're gonna be able to see the top of her car and I think we will and where let's see where is she oh no look at that can you can I hear you you can hear me

okay there's gotta be it so let's say peel them uh I can't hear you can you can you can you yeah I can hear yes yes I can hear you I can hear you so yes on that um let's see can you hear me peeled it you can hear me right yeah I can hear you so you can hear me because so what what happened there how do we do this I think because this is pretty great though because this will give me an insight you know why you take me off the screen it's a it's a it's a nice tree it was a nice tree how about that um she can use make sure she's using Safari from the phone I don't know how about now no no all right let's oh yeah she on Safari let me see are you on Safari or Chrome this is the inside of our relationship by the um let's see what she what she can do because last time it worked maybe I don't know maybe take that maybe take the headphones out maybe take

head try Chrome this will be let's say let's try again oh you can hear me now yeah can you hear me yes yeah peel these say hi to martini hi I'm not total moron just sometimes you did it figured it up I peeled it together all right um so right now I can't hear you what happened can't can't wait can you hear us oh my god stay stay can you hear me now you did something and I knew I know what it is I know what it is come back in come back in I can't hear you hold on this is we're having that Chris car problem come back in okay bye yeah so peole don't don't jump in I'm just gonna keep it on a two shot because remember if that's it's doing that stupid thing that when I move into another so you know what I came out I won't jump to the page and I'll just tell her what the number is so that that's so stupid so dumb

okay so we make predictions every single day politics pop culture the economy and the biggest stories making headlines and you guys know kalshi which is america's number one predictions market platform and let's you trade those predictions in a live market how about this we've been talking about dune we've been talking about doomsday so dune versus the Avengers if you put down a $100 trade and you say okay what is going to be the highest rotten tomato scorer right now 87% says dune will be the higher and that payout is something like 114.94 but if you go the other way and you say Avengers which has a 31% it's higher and the payout is would be like 321.60 so that is pretty interesting in general and one I think that's relevant to us here on the channel on kalshi your trading gets peers in a live market meaning that there's no house and has the probability changes you can buy in and out of your position so if you download the kalshi app and use that code Christian to get $20 when you trade $20 kalshi KALS HI trade on anything dune versus dune's

we had two thousand and thirty two people oh my god we hit two thousand today so right look at that so we're pumped and we had a lot of questions I'm wearing my money shirt today I like that I like it we're doing it's it's going pretty well and I'm pretty excited about it and and last time you were on there was we were there was only so much we can up how's it going that's better that's better now I can see you yes yes right I am how's it going so we're we're pretty excited because we have a lot of good questions from the audience all right I hope it's not why is my car so dirty please don't ask me that question see that now that now someone will like in the crevices like they're oh my god well let's start with Danny uh Danny says that's appropriate right streamers passed on Doug Ellen the creator of entourage ramble on pilot ever consider shooting the pilot feature length so you can pivot to a movie release if it's picked up no I mean I mean tell me if you if you agree with me more team but I this story is the way we have

it all planned out for where they go you wouldn't be able to cram that into two hours no no this is and also it's like a part of a workplace comedy like there's other people and it's their dynamics people just want to hang out with every week it's not just the Danny Kelly story it's not just one story it's a whole it's a world that we want to immerse people in and like have fun in and like just come hang out in every week that's what it is so I think um I think to to me if if there was because martini and I've had this conversation many times over that there's so many there's so many options now it's like yes the plan would be wonderful for us to get this pilot shot get it to a streaming service that gets our vision gets the creative ideas as yeah go and do a cease now it let's go that'd be great but there's also another option of like you know what we have enough feedback wait was the question whether we were going to do a feature length was that the question yeah it was oh okay yeah there's a major right okay yeah it was it was featured so but but that's why like being having these ideas of just like knowing that we we know where this goes it's

so long with these with these characters of all of everybody who's involved oh my god it's such a long fun journey we've met it out yeah it's hilarious well and that kind of falls up here Dennis F Hoffman says how far are you guys developing the show ideal setting would be one one so I deal setting would be season one via six to eight episode run um I think you know for us what we've talked about we've we've we I don't know how long that was like two or three days it you and I mapped out the entire like almost like the entire series which is amazing um but I what I've been saying just writes itself guys it's true what I've what I've been saying and correct me if I'm wrong if you feel differently but it's too hard to say whether it'd be a six to eight episode run ten episode run because we don't know yet what it doesn't it really depends the platform that there's some moving parts but the story is great and there and it's really about how it gets packaged and distributed and right I agree um the cinema kid this is from Artini what in a comedy

show are you most concerned about when it comes to a script funny or the story and you know you can provide the jokes hmm I'm very like humor in the pain I really like um the humor to come from the realness of life because I think life is hilarious and I don't really focus so much on the jokes I think the jokes write themselves when you put yourself in scenarios with characters that are ridiculous and like you know drama is high and um yeah I focus more on relationships and the humor in the relationships because I am an observer of life and I think life is hilarious and ridiculous yeah and listen and and to also she's very good at jokes as well and to give and to give her her flowers as they say we we we really wrote the idea of it structured it out and then we both would pepper in there as many times I'd be like you know what this Kelly I don't know right here like how this works like I got it and boom punches in some some jokes here and she do the same to me she's like I need a couple of my favorite there's one particular scene she's like I need a

couple jokes about this from Danie's perspective go and I'm like all right and then I give her like I don't know what 10 options or something and then you take either one or none of them yeah um which which is great so we it was a fun process um Mike Moudra here's two questions about our show did you get other co-host inputs in the script of the show and did they produce some of the show well they didn't produce any of the show but we did I sent I rocksy gave great feedback staff gave great feedback on on the show Mike reddit Winston reddit and gay and and taboo so a lot of most of the hosts reddit um but no not not as far as producers only producers are that outside of the ones that I mentioned Greg Alba we mentioned more because I told Martini was like I really because Greg wanted to read it and Greg wanted to come on board and we just said that's a no brainer like he really gets it yeah uh Josh sticks pilot question do you only want the show to be 30 minute episodes of which you consider making 45 minutes to an hour episode instead and I'll let Martini answer this one

is like well everyone's yelling at us to do 24 minute episodes um I think I think we want shorter you know I think it's like get in have fun and get out I also think you know it's it leans more comedy than drama although it is kind of dramedy ish for that if that word is to use um but it's it's playful and fun and light and um I personally don't think I think once you start getting uh you know closer to an hour you're getting into more drama and more way more store lines and stuff and I think we want to keep the we want to keep it pretty light and fun you know I think life is hard enough right now let's go hang out and like laugh you know the funeral scene in the pilot is hilarious what did you rewrite it um so it keeps wanting to put funeral scenes in and many more scenes right um but we uh look the I think the initial script that I gave Martini was

close to 45 minutes to an hour close to like a cal what was it you wrote a drama a lot more of a drama yeah with there's funny moments in it but it was more drama it was more drama asked um so that's 30 minutes makes way more sensible with what the what the tone of it is now and as I've been saying like and I've gone back and watched um I'm like midway through season two now of hacks it's it really is hacks with a bear tone with a sprinkle with my I'm saying the sprinkle of California occasion because of me my thing not that not the whole show is really loves California occasion I do I do uh Mike Muja what made Martini get on our show and write and what inspired her to be part of our show am I answering or are you yeah no it's for you I can't um what okay tell me again I can't read it so it's it's it's both this is the second question I come to my my ADHD yes um so it's what inspired you to be part of the show and what made you get on our show and write it to which end of the follow-up is for another person ask the same thing what about this

project made you want to be a part of it oh you know what so go we'll we'll start with my we'll squeeze as it there's a follow-up so you don't give me so many questions I want to uh what what made you get on our show and write and what inspired you to be part of our show I guess the acting side of it too okay um Christian came to me telling me that he wrote this pilot and uh we had done a show together at the comedy store and he was like oh my god I didn't even think of this you should look at this show that I wrote and maybe give me what you think and it was a drama many a drama it was it was it was it was a drama and um I saw I love the world I love the podcast world and the idea of these two X's having to be forced to do this podcast together and I immediately just see humor in it I see like you know Sam and Diane in cheers I just saw moon lighting I just see all these I just love the dynamic of these like X's that hate each other and I immediately was like let's turn this into a half hour drama and comedy and this will be hilarious and fun and Christian and I have the same exact sense of humor and um same sensibility and

whatever we make each other laugh and I can just I immediately just saw our dynamic and us creating these characters and bringing them to life because we already have similar dynamics and yeah it's true and and it just was like yes like this is us and this will be so fun and you know I just I just saw it immediately and I and then we just started brainstorming characters and we were crying laughing like just cracking each other up and we just knew that this was gonna be fun and um I would always love doing anything with Christian first of all um we've known each other a long time and there's I could say there's a handful of people where I have the same exact sense of humor that can make me cry laughing and he's one of them so at working with him I think is just ideal any any any opportunity so this was kind of like it all kind of came together um and then being in it I mean we were like let's do it for ourselves because this is us like these characters are very us yeah our dynamic is so great um we have so much fun together and um we were like let's create this for us I mean I think I think that was kind of the

did you have anything to add I don't know no well because there's a follow-up for you on this one too so what about this project made your your answer that would be a part of it what excite you the most about trending hmm how hard we laugh when we write it and when we're together and I just feel like if we're having fun everyone else will have fun you know we just I think that's what excites me the most is that it's fun it's funny we laugh and we're having a blast and an Andrew my my seat is please please do it as you just like you just help the door by the time it's time the interview is like we're just talking so anyway yeah I think it's that it's having fun and you're hey eight I see I know you're ADHD well enough um you were talking about Andrew thank you and Andrew has the same sensibility as us as well we we all laugh together and I think when you find that you create things because that's magic yeah it's true and I've told the audience before you came on I said

as you started to get to know Andrew more my impression of him will start to resonate better with you because it's like even when okay and he's like he's like he's so quietly funny he's just like he's one of those we're like you don't know what's coming and then it comes and you're like god damn you're really he's really funny he's just like he's it oh yeah yeah and I was talking about how on my couch but I mean he's got good like you know he tops up the jokes whenever you say something he like has a little comment in the system it's level yeah yeah and he's but he's I mean he there's a read I mean look I haven't all I've told people yesterday I was on a live stream when we got the phone call about another announcement that we haven't made yet and I told people that they're gonna be excited for I know you and I are very excited for that yes and um you know I just feel like when you're making something fun and it just it grows quickly and yeah and it's

contagious yeah yeah yeah yeah we're gonna I hope you're gonna be saying that a lot for sure um let's say Mike Moody did P.L.D have any input on show I sent it P.L.D as well yeah P.L.D. P.L.D. was one of the kids so Martina really like this one particular scene that we had in the script and it was something that actually happened to me it was remember it was when Danny's in the car you know Danny's in car yes with with the late and it never really happened to me and you and I really liked that but we kept getting that note from people is just like it just it doesn't fit for where they're going and it's not necessary right there and we both are like we love it but we get it I mean it's taken out P.L.D. was one of the first people who wrote that and it's just like I like the scene it just doesn't work right here and I'm like he's right I hate that he's right we got great notes you have a great we got really great notes from every single person you name they all had an insight it's it's yeah you have a really good creative community around you that gave us great feedback and it just helped us refine the script more and more and more to the script is like unrecognizable from from the beginning it's just so much tighter so strong like it's just it's really fun yeah

I thought it's fun yeah you got well there they got a lot of great questions for you uh Mike which is here's a question from our team which comedians inspired you and had influenced you to write comedy oh god that's such a good one um I mean I grew up on Lucille Ball and like I love Lucille and Carol Burnett like I mean those are the things I grew up on so I love physical comedy I love wacky comedy um that's kind of my sweet spot um so that was always was was inspired I mean I grew up I had I had VHS tapes of Laurel and Hardy so yeah the only thing I had to put in the DV or the VHS player so um did you watch did you used to watch um uh shit uh March of the Wind Soldiers or Christmas which one March of the Wind Soldiers like Laurel and Hardy oh my god oh is that is that a Laurel and Hardy one I don't know the names of them I'm really I'm not great with names yeah yeah so it was like the old school it was like an old school Christmas movie with and and they go to like the land of the boogie men and stuff to my

dad my dad's favorite but it's so I love that stuff I love that stuff I love watching people be really brave with their bodies and like put themselves out there and like yeah just be wacky I love wacky comedy but there's a lot of comedians I love as well um but I'm more I was more inspired by like you know SNL and then living color and um you know more physical wacky and appropriate comedy you know it's funny is that we never really ever said that because we kind of knew it but that's it and then for me it's the stand-up comedy that was always inspired from me and then for when you balance out what our characters are inside of it it's like that's exactly what it is yeah yeah it's true um Blake quick when the show gets a full season you should do a bit about martini's character cutting the cord of your coffee machine because it's making a mess in the studio so you don't know where this come from um which is actually pretty funny and I should screenshot that because it's not a bad idea um Sadie we should have just like an ongoing list of suggestions for one thousand percent and that's one of the things we're gonna do on the kickstarter

you know that's the beauty of them we'll get into that a little bit more too and just a bit um but my I have this coffee machine that Sadie got me for Christmas a couple years ago and recently was like leaking a little bit right so I put a paper I put a paper towel or whatever and she's getting sick of it she's getting sick of it so I came home she goes your coffee machine is gone I go what and she's like I should I got a refund at a full year worth of it had they made me cut the cord on it I had to cut the cord to show them that I wasn't trying to get a second one free and so I cut it and I and I threw it out and you're getting another one I go when she's a couple days and I'm like I'm gonna be horrible I'm gonna be a horrible human being for the next couple days and and so the whole debate was what should she have thrown it out let me know first or I come home to that but it is pretty make it a mess in the studio it's hilarious like she's like the cutting the cord is hilarious cutting the cord is hilarious so what do you cut in the cord is that we need to prove I love that they needed proof I didn't need to prove uh deal the pickle martini what is the thing you would say makes your character tick how does she operate in the world

uh Danny makes her tick anything Danny that's what's so great about it he drives her effing my ludicrous he drives her effing nuts and um you know she has a soft spot for him though but she really does hate him and ninety-nine percent of the time um let's see she's a bit of a perfectionist so you know and a control freak so I think things bother her when they're not in her control and I think which is great because she's in midlife her career is imploding everything is out of her control yeah so it's funny to watch the her kind of deal with it all and try and cope and she's not she's not coping very well which adds to the comedy and the two of them they both they both don't they're both kind of like just want to stick in what they know is comfortable even though they pretend that they don't yeah and they can't and they can't get they can't get out of it yeah and you're just kind of you know at that eight trying to reinvent your life and you know feeling outdated I think there's so I mean it's it's a lot it's a lot of layers true um so our next

comment is from our regular comments are Ron H and because he writes a lot of sometimes it's just so bizarre we like to read his uh super chats in in Gary Viocese's voice okay great that's my favorite martini mm-hmm I just like exclaiming martini thank you right all right Tia Foster Christian what are the locations for the show I wonder what location would become iconic like central perk from friends I would assume that the studio the pot that the studio would probably once they get it because you know even even the fact that we talked about at one point they had a really cool studio but because they just kind of losing money and sponsorships left and right that it's like no figure out I'll fine I'll I'll I'll find out how we can get just outdated you know I think it's like you know Christmas lights on the wall a little dusty a little outdated you know it's just kind of a funny it's a little it represents them you know it's it represents them being outdated so but I think yeah I think the podcast studio is going to be yeah it's there's always

things going on there's a lot of people in there there's people in and out you know it's an ensemble in a lot of ways there's a lot of other characters that are around it's a workplace comedy as well like there's chaos there's the other characters we have are so funny I mean we left they just make us laugh they're gonna be so great and fun to cast oh my god oh my god and they just add a whole other layer outside of the Danny and Kelly there's so much humor to be had these characters are great we got our Gen Zers we got our I mean we have millennials we just the gen generational riffs our and differences are a place for comedy it's just it's it's it's it's it's funny it's funny let's say JD reviews does training of a mockumentary style just curious based on Fried's background with non scripted shows in the promo photo I mean the promo that the photos were for the promo for the Kickstarter thing and I'll let Andrew answer like directing style those types of thing but it as Martini said it's more of like comedy drama things it's not to say that

there's not things inside of the podcast element or when they're shooting something you could have those types of things but the full style of the show is not a mockumentary right although we played with it about making it and kind of having some potentially some you know behind the scenes footage or interviews kind of put in so just for more opportunity for people to comment each other we're kind of figuring that out I think there is a potential force a lot of humor if you kind of lean into that also with the podcast like the you know young interns are trying to get them to shoot behind the scenes footage for their social accounts so that footage is is you know when they're capturing things around the audience that I mean around the office that they probably shouldn't you know I'm putting it up on social like there's a whole element of that and them getting you know them you know each person talking on camera I think I think that adds a whole other element so I think there are those pieces in it yes I totally and I think there's also a way like once you get like a website up and stuff too to to mockumentary type of footage on the site to build the characters and build the moments 100% back to Dill Dill's got a few question for both you if the show gets picked up

what do you all think about a bottle episode where you get stuck together in some creative way and it gives you a chance to reconnect in some way well I won't go too deep into what we have planned for the future because we have a lot of I mean like I said we like six seasons of what where they go and and how they like each other don't like each other yada yada that we we've I promise you like we have it so detailed out I think there was like three days that we were just kind of going over that and mapping that out to know because it helps us and to know where where it goes yeah and it's it literally writes itself there it does there are emotions and they're back there history with each other creates is is fodder for a lot of funny stuff yep uh Blake quick have you thought about keeping some of your crew in the dark about the show like you do with the audience you can get genuine reaction videos of the show do you mean um as far as the announcements that we're gonna make or do you mean as far as seeing the show as far as announcements I'm not too many people know about the announcement they're gonna make so they'll will be in the dark until we

you know announced it but if you mean the show itself I mean they'll probably be at the premiere of the ones that we do you know and we'll see there's always going to be a lot of opportunities people to do stuff so we're going to be doing a lot um dill looking back on this stream when our show is funded is going to be hilarious that's true yes fingers crossed yep greenie from us as you did rewrites on the script did you have to change much things technology wise like how it how tech is always innovating well I mean for me yes because as Martini said the script was dramatically different literally from when I gave it to her um it was the bare bones of it I mean her name wasn't even Kelly at the time so like it Danny was really the only one that kind of survived the whole blow up minus the fact that he's a podcaster in the next comedian right um so we also had to change the way because and then when I wrote it initially he was late 30s or mid 30s I think so

it was a very old now he's old but it was but it was different it was a different time of time different time it was also different of think about how much has happened in podcasting from 2015 to to to to 2026 and how impactful it's been and so all that stuff and these other things and jokes of relevancy that didn't really ever change because it was new I think I think also layering in the Gen Z experts because Gen Z knows so much more than we do so they come in and they're like kind of telling the old guys what to do and we're like ah where is this you know what are the kids dipping things so I think that adds a whole I think that's the new the new technology layer that we'll take take talk was even a thing when I wrote right right and doing like behind the scenes footage and all the social and that's the whole point it's like we like where does content end in your life like and that's why like all of a sudden they're filming them all the time for this behind the scenes but it's like get out of my face like I don't why is this content this is my life but like drama makes you know good content so it's like I think I think that's the biggest

difference is the fact that we're filming our lives for content for social that's not just a podcast where they turn on a mic then turn it off like you're on you're in it all this footage of your life is being used yeah real docs productions do you set time for writing for trending or do you write when you can well when we were writing the pilot we we definitely set time aside we had writing meetings we had we we made sure we took block of time to make sure that I mean there were times I took shows off to make sure that when martini was available at one point I'd okay we we do it and she and she did the same thing she maneuvered around her schedule to make sure that we could do it but we both agree like right now we're both available she's available to do stuff like this to make sure that people know what we're doing but for the writing moving forward we want to see well where are we after October 22nd like where where where are we I mean because like I've been saying this like look in a in a world where you guys are like listen we're making that you guys are not only gonna make this show you're gonna make the series and we break the guilds record

when we come out and then Andrew's like all right well what are we doing let's just make the series and then we then we pitched the series or we do what we needed to do we get the pilot done we we and we when we do that um but we'll figure it out as far as you know in general when we're gonna um when we're gonna write some more episodes when we can't and we're gonna get a writers room hopefully too yeah uh Josh sticks I think six to eight episodes two short for 30 minute episodes that all depends on budget right because if you know if they go hey you have x amount to make this how many can you make you go six you get whoa with that we can make ten I think that we the but the beauty of it is I think we have enough written and then understanding where it goes that we'd be able to do six we'd be able to do eight we'd be able to do ten would you agree with that me yeah yeah oh yeah we can we can do it all guys uh Joseph Ashley will there be crazy scenarios like maybe you distal almost personally insulted when you went back to your car it was poop smear in your car door

in your front window make you late for a date oh well that never really happened to me but uh when I said I did step in shit one time right before a date in college that was the worst I had it was the worst I was like I was scraping it all over the complex it was oh my god gross horrible and you know you smell like shit it didn't matter how much you wiped off the wash should off the side but the first thing it did was roll the windows down on both sides and I'm like it was it was a trotious but no I don't know about that greenie from us you'd want to align this story with episode numbers you can episodes like the thing or short 100% uh Mike Wujah how did you him martini meet do you want to answer that uh we I dated christians were made 25 years ago and then we went and we went to the we went to anchorman yeah the screening of anchorman right and that's when we found out that I found out that christian does stand up and I was doing stand up and then he was like why don't you come be on my show and then I started doing your shows

and then and then uh I introduced you I introduced you to the guy who was booking the shows because I was right right right right right and then and then I started to get booked on those shows yeah and then we did stand up together for a little bit and then you started having other shows too and then um and then christian invited to introduce me to my now husband and once I met him I kind of disappeared that's true I'm like there's and and I told and I told people this before so right now on on the channel on the homepage of of this channel I put my grasping a straws pilot up and I was with Eliza Slesinger and it just hit a 40,000 views which is pretty great considering you know it's almost 20 years later uh but when I told this last time martini was on I actually wrote that part of marley for martini and then um she moved that to town and then I had to audition people for that role and you know we were and Eliza did a much better job let's be honest at that she was great at that character she was great she was absolutely great it would have been a different character yeah she was great yeah um saw how detailed were all those people's voice notes

there were in a lot out you know what and it was a very subtle way of saying saw because saw also read it and gave me some great great notes as well too but he had a 50 minute voice note I'd listen to was like it was longer than the godfather uh micrages what was the best part of making and creating our show mmm I think laughing together yeah working and laughing together we would we would get the places where we would be like we would if he does this and we would be crying laughing and we write it in there right in there and then there were times like when we had to lose this hurt and then we're like oh yeah but then there are other times like all right that hit the way we wanted it too so that that was it it was almost like testing out stand-up bits and doing it that's it yeah I think that's what's so fun about when we work together I mean it we're just literally doing stand-up bits together yeah uh kc 30 minute episodes are stronger with comedies agreed uh go pal thank you go pal gifted five memberships that's very nice Michael D will each episode title have a hashtag like hashtag trending or no I think it should I think that's kind of part of the I think so too that I think the hashtag thing I mean as

dated as hashtags are I think we still use them and I think it's kind of funny for like the gen X versus still using hashtags yeah sure Mike Moodra what movies does Martini like watching oh my gosh I love anything that's like a biopic that's based on like truth because I believe it like I think it's the real thing like I'll walk out of it I did not realize world war two happened like that yeah and Adam will be like that's still fictionalized I'm like oh okay like I they're like documentaries me I'm always blown away about it so I do love any sort of like anything based on um history history uh and obviously comedies I mean I I'm sad I feel like there's not as many comedies as it used to be I miss all the stupid comedies for sure yeah this is a one and I like the longer dramas I just fall asleep that's fair here's a one two Mike Rios kind of show how far joke and it be considered classy yes absolutely you're asking and then follows up by since Christian most fart jokes is there more fart jokes in the pilot um there are I don't I don't think there

are any fart jokes but we're open I mean I'm a fan yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean there might be something or you know a real serious situation where yeah you gotta save them you can't yeah yeah it can abuse them you those are those are saved for like real special moments uh double whammy here from Sam red carpet talks as martini I'm curious what your taste in humor is outside of the script what your favorite comedy movie and sitcom and who your comedic influences she did give the comedic influence already so yeah yeah um I mean shows that I love that make me laugh hacks makes me laugh um let's see I'm trying to think um I mean the movie with Tom hangs money pit was my favorite movie growing up you know anything with anything ridiculous um is kind of up my alley I'm to cut I'm trying to think I have I have um uh an old lady brain so let me think um what was the question so you're what's your taste in humor uh outside of these sitcoms oh I mean I left here's I'm a classic comedy kind of gal yeah I love old school comedies uh she follows this up yeah

go ahead I liked platonic I thought platonic was funny what else is what's more recent now I love um survival of the thickest I think Michelle uh buttoe oh toe oh toe she's hilarious um what else what other sitcoms are there tell me some uh people to give us a list don't jump in though because we jump in here then uh then she might lose her sound but she follows it up do you ever feel as if the comedy space is sometimes a sausage party with certain jokes that simply just don't click for you 100 percent absolutely no I that's why it's really rare for me to laugh watching a comedy I'm not gonna lie you got to really surprise me and um after hearing there's a lot of cheap jokes um and there's a lot of jokes that aren't earned I really again back to like I believe comedy comes from the relationships and the scenario and I like relationships I like drama like I just like the humor coming from her hating him not from just a funny joke in the moment you know I really think

that's where that's what makes me laugh is when it's when it when I can relate to it and it can and it feels human um I think that's where the real funny is for me good Ron H Martini our community like roca is getting harder I'm a self of a plant infused dancing Asian prone to trouble I hope you're cool with it I'm cool with anything you're gonna learn real fast I'm good with you can't yeah I'm good with everything you are I mean is there anything I'm not good with Christian now no not not really you're pretty you're pretty good with I mean yeah there's not there's I don't defend me that's no that's very true I mean like if I'm if I'm good because look Danny says some stuff and we both have to say like you know okay do we think that's okay and other people think that's okay but do we not care because he doesn't give a shit either yeah I think I think if anything Christian and I are on the uh end of the spectrum of appropriateness yeah we always have to be like how inappropriate is right we need we need other people to talk so yeah I think

we yeah Joseph said how would you describe your character I think you've described that before and are you different from the character that you're playing yes yeah I'm not as uptight I'm not as controlling well no we actually we actually laughed about this yesterday we're on the phone and he said like you know there's um we'll both we we can scrap but yeah but we come back like brother and sister we are very brother and sister we come back in the middle and go oh wait man I see your point there actually does that work and like yay you know what that word that's you like I'll tell you something like no you're kidding me you do the same freaking thing even even two days ago stop this uh this the cinema kid were there times when you just talked to my when I wanted to bring Christians neck yes yes yes were there times when you talked and recorded knowing the prompt of the conversation to then find deeper the truths oh like um

just having like uh improvising the scenes so we can kind of get to that yeah we did do that yeah we did we did that we did we and we did a bunch a lot we did a lot of that yeah yeah we did stuff where we like reacted to things as the characters and things yeah it was fun nerd virgin hey uh some martini Christians are watching some Bruce Willis and moonlining for some inspiration are there any characters that you're drawing inspiration for for Kelly oh that's a good question actually um gosh I wasn't but that's a good question as to who she would be similar do I don't know Christian do you think I think there's a like there's definitely a Diane yeah they're oh absolutely there's a Diane mixed with a little kirstie alley there's the alley she's both she's got like a hundred that's actually a really good call she's kind of both of those both she's got both elements of both yeah I think that's kind of a good mix yeah I think so um and because that I would say she's not really the civil shepherd don't know the only the only thing that is just kind of the

intention of what she wants to do is opposed to what he wants to do and that he can piss her off a little bit just by kind of prompting but she that she's funnier she's wackier way goofier than yeah yeah yeah yeah sure 100% Ron H martini shakin not stirred why not cosmopolitan always dirty first of all extra dirty yeah yeah that's extra dirty always page martini I video chat with Christian and my birthday is a 26th of September and I am manifesting this fully funded show you have a special aura of joy and you also take no crap I love this all pages the coolest pages the coolest so the raw manifesting together guys yeah pages the coolest she's been super supportive of this and everybody is like really really kind of leading the charge it's been great pages here is it say page 79 yes yeah 79 I got our gen exers here right walker dark 60 while she actually talked about

in the video chat about the gen extras and I think she's going to be very happy martini hi what do you enjoy doing more writing or acting or balanced mix it's a really good question I really like both separately I love writing I love like enter my my excuse me my imagination loves to run and I love being by myself sometimes and just kind of like you know imagining it and coming up with things and also I love collaborating I'm like laughing a Christian but I also love performing I love I'm an idiot inside now and so I just love being ridiculous and big I think it's fun and I love share spreading that energy because you know it's again it's contagious I sound like a life coach it's contagious when you when you have fun everyone has fun and I love when everyone's having fun yeah well I think it is also contagious and you've been contagious on this because already we have 2043 followers now since you've joined so do we get three no I think it was more than 2040 it was in the 30s when you came in wasn't it I say 40 it's my shirt let me see I'm going

to break I'm putting that I'm putting the link in there again our show is trending.com see how many people see if we can at least get to 2050 by the time martini gets out of here martini have you ever seen the Laurel and Hardy film with the horse on the piano of course there you go nerd virgin anyone else yeah mariska hargote is martini's no nonsense sister in our show see that I always thought I always thought uh carry and moss oh good um mariska oh yeah she's she's great she's great very I'm honored yeah don't let me get too close to the camera though it's me stevo congrats on everything I want to show support for the show on on the October 8th is that meet and greet just include the shows while it does long time fan came in I'm so I'm a thank you for asking so you know I don't know if I told you this martini on um october 8th me and ellis and gen sturger doing a stand-up show in long island um yeah and so on on the eighth and there is a meet and greet involved

and you're perfect no the first is my birthday so um there you go Joey pedras burning question will there be a theme song we don't really discuss that yet but I think that goes back into it goes back into the money side of it and also goes into the creative with freed because it's like does it because they don't really do things like that and in shows anymore it's more like a flash of a screen something real you know like maybe like a guitar riff or something you guys got to donate a lot of money because Christians um music tastes we're gonna be we're gonna be we're gonna be music cues are very expensive yeah we're gonna be that I told them that but also it is a vibe like it would be so great if we had enough money to do it that way because it just makes the world so good yeah you know it's it's funny is because someone said what I could do regardless of is that at a certain point I think we're talking about this Craig is that what you will unlock um if we hit x amount by this is my entire playlist for what I write to on trending what the songs I've loved see like I mean there's yeah you need to say that like just the hero will unlock a little more look at

a little bit more I have so many different socks in there too and it's so many it's so many it's so one mc to whatever it is yeah yeah to woolly bolly to woolly bolly woolly bolly you know someone did say by this one is so perfect in that moment too so perfect in the moment and so my someone brought this up and said that his band does it said it you it's a it's a hell of a lot cheaper when you do a cover of those songs are you allowed to do covers yeah oh then yes we should I think we should have to do a cover woolly bolly bolly that would be hilarious but the end song though martini the end song oh it's like that that that we have that's that's the one that has the the money has to be spent on because it has to be all right so we did that thank you burning question we did that one too uh nerd virgin martini when you dated christians rumy how much is their apartment smell like fart it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it farts dog I mean dog you love that dog though oh my god that pug would focus

taz yeah it was uh it was it was a due department for sure yeah I mean you know there was no there was no AC in there was there it was pretty no I don't think so yeah yeah Josh Sticks what percent comedy restaurant is this this is the perfect summary of our of martina's relationship christian has made it sound more like 50 50 martina's is like 75 25 I'm always pushing for more comedy and christian is always pushing for more you know like more grounded no more relationship all right yeah no not relationship more so no I just wanted to be like I said I lean towards the bear aspect and learn for like yes that's actually pretty true and and I'll tell you because I'm more I have a little bit more knowledge of hacks now than I did even when we started writing this and I and I absolutely see it and I think that that's the and and I said to myself I was watching because I've always trust martina when it comes to this stuff and I was watching more and I go okay if we went for the vibe of like what because hacks to me is a good balance also like I think flea bag I know it's a female show but like

I don't watch the flea yeah oh I mean flea likes really funny too and and but like in a grounded way it's in the scenarios you know they're not like yuck yuck yeah yeah yeah yeah right right right no absolutely not mike moodra is there anything you and martina learned about yourself while writing our show you that I'm more of a control freak than I thought you just said you were in a control freak discovering it guys it's a new thing for me to realize it's like therapy um how old I am yeah I have found out that I am I am I I if someone brings a note it's very easy for me to say I can lose that it's fine to lose the note oh yeah I learned I was I was kidding oh oh you're funny I thought you know something I did learn about myself though is that I I shouldn't say this never mind okay all right we'll keep that we'll keep that for us uh quentin Luene as far as the posters go any size what size with size the poster might be just curious since I have a signed poster collection I definitely want to add to the poster for what size do you need I know

well I think so then that's a Craig question we'll bring Craig back on what I want to do at some point now that because I think last you should do a little focus group we're like you know what size what do you want you know and we can yeah yeah yeah yeah but what I want to do yes we should and what I haven't done yet because the last time our team is on we had announced freed I don't know if Craig was announced last time so next time we do like we do want I want to do a stream with martini with Andrew with Craig at the same time and then if anybody else who knows anybody else is going to be anybody anybody else anybody else who else is around a Mike Mudra how much of the show is improv while I mean we haven't shot it yet where we we we we are that those people though so I think you know as Christian said well just tell me on the page we'll improv improv improvise and do you shoot and I'm like well we do need a script so I think if that will naturally come when we're shooting for sure. Greeny from us what type of podcast do they do in the show well he has a show that's similar to

you know just talking to people interviews those types of thing and he was he came up during the kind of corolla side of of podcasting and and and hit pretty big at one point but he's just kind of becoming a dinosaur and how things are made so he does something she doesn't do a podcast she's trying to get her film career and stuff back on track and the dumps yes and the shits for both their careers are in the shits and then so their stuff that it's conversational what they wind up doing together but that's that would be you know farther on down the line. Lazarus how do you guys keep negative thoughts from overwhelming you both it's a good question. Well what kind of negative thoughts like like imposter syndrome? I don't know I don't know what it is but in general but I think martini's actually really good at that about even when we say things along the lines of her on the phone with her I'm like I go you know so when we do this she's no no we've already done this it's happened this and she's like she's big on that stuff and I am too but she kind of puts me into that mindset of and I think that it has helped tremendously with certain things that have already happened with the show that

I've said to myself that I knew that they weren't gonna happen I already knew that they did happen already. I mean I'm gonna let you guys know something about me I'm a little woo woo and I definitely have a way of thinking which is number one you need to know your destination and see what you ultimately want to exist and you kind of keep that into your mind and don't let doubts come in you know and then you make yourself a magnet for it so if you're thinking as that kind of I was talking to someone the other day it's like have an alter ego for the person that you want to be right so if it is the person who's in this show like that's maybe create an alter ego for whoever it is that you want to become that has all the things you want and then think and act like that person like I think that's kind of making yourself a magnet for those kinds of things I really do in my life I really tried a lot of that stuff and it is it's it's wonky how well it's true right carpet pile so really quick but I do when when negative thoughts come I do replace them

really quickly and like that you know I replace it with the thought that I want pretty quickly yeah yeah agreed I had a therapist who used to do that to me I'd be like having a really hard day she's like your challenged and you're you know you're stepping up to the challenge right so don't stop to put the negative stuff out there I get it I don't know if I asked about the dynamic between the kids and the parents is the former SNL star x-wife mom the mom of the kids or someone else the mom she's the mom she's the mom she has she has one kid one kid she's one kid and she's a teenager yes it's fun yeah and note and martini mentioned that earlier too where this really is an ensemble like I the more and more I think about stuff too and you know martini and I have discussed this and like she you're gonna see her go through some stuff if we get the season they want and like she's gonna be a such a strong character and such a big character for the show like the daughter the daughter oh yeah we have such great characters it is an ensemble and the other characters are so great yeah i'm interesting this is a great comment why i hope the show doesn't get annoying like

Tony and Angelie getting together like who's the boss that any piss me oh god it's great that is hilarious that happened so good Joey Petters how has doing this show and other shows inform the approach to writing and planning the project i imagine you learn a lot of what not to do and overseeing what has worked i'm not talking about over years oh for sure i mean look she mentioned it earlier our initial thought was hey let's write something together shoot something you know do for like whatever and we'll put some people in it and we'll just we'll just shoot something put it on the youtube channel and then we wrote it and like we think this is pretty good and then we'll and i said you know i can try to get it to to Andrew's shoes i trust you do you think think he's you know he's gonna respond to it he will go get it i got yeah and he got it quick and when once Andrew got involved it just became a different thing you know and you started to see like how wait a minute we could really do it like this we can go out to this person you have to do that that thing and so just working with him and working with boardwalk and watching that process that that's opened my mind up to a lot of stuff

did you freeze no you didn't know i was reading i was trying to read the question of my glasses i was focusing um yeah i'm sorry i went more into the planning side of it yeah i was like i don't know if i went into the planning side planning the project okay what about the writing i mean the writing side i mean i think that you know i it's not easy and this is this is easier said than done is that you have to find people that a you creatively work well together and then the other side of it is if you get enough traction on something that you've got to be able to have a business partnership together as well because then we've we've just been i've had that now twice in my life i've had that with martini and i've had that with marquello i've had very good luck in being able to match up on both because you can have one and not have the other and then it just can't then it won't work i think also another big thing to for any of this to work and if you're working on your own projects is getting over in poster syndrome i think that's the one of like the biggest elements that probably

Christian i have had in our lives a lot at different moments and i think um maybe it's age or whatever but we've just kind of don't care anymore and that's probably why we're able to get this done because i'm like whatever um but i think looking back at my younger self or like as me starting a project or working on something i think getting working on figuring out how to get over any sort of imposter syndrome because no one no one cares and like just you need to like just believe in whatever you're doing and know that it just takes one person to get it you know um never lose your experience and i don't think that answered the question at all but i don't think it does do the jump scares like you do with sam keep it going i if we're if we're on set when when when we're on set um i always you scare me on set i will literally i'm one of the i'm one of these people who would go into a haunted house and when they would scare me i would like pull their hair because it's like because it would scare me so much like my i would like hurt them have you seen the videos what i

did you just i will hurt you christian i go i go i shah you're gonna get hurt if you scare me i'm gonna hide some of the other side all right well well i can't promise i'm not on purpose still i'm not sure if you have heard of it but our show seems to be a little like rock-mire i don't know rock-mire would it be cool to look at that show and see what did work or didn't i don't know rock-mire you know i have heard of it but look into it run each k-h once once the show starts and it will start you could have a running pole of will they end up together or not we can see it go up or down season to season trending together or not futag hami who that voice yeah um yeah i mean that that's a that's definitely a uh once you get the potential pilot up there i mean that's that's always gonna be a question for that type of stuff right because someone asked yesterday i can't remember what it was and he said you know at the end of this at in the series at the end do you do you know if they uh don't have to watch and i said like i said i said we know we know

i said we know but um but you'll have to have it all mapped out we do uh it's so fun yeah it really is does your character every peaceful moments and quirks definitely he likes to be by himself a pretent that he doesn't like maybe you bird or opposite he likes you're i mean i i your character is very likable yeah but he's but he's also can be extremely you can get pissed off at him really 100% but he's still vulnerable i think um yeah we've we've written him and that he's got a lot of issues that he's working on you know it's like it's like the um it's like the you know he's hiding a soft person underneath all that you remember loose hantini right yeah of course so lu used to have a joke that was it's such a great like representation of like Danny right to where he's like when you first start dating and you're dating your your lady and you dating and you say and and she's like oh you're so funny you're so funny and then after about six months together seven months together the same exact joke you do it again she goes everything's a joke to you

and that's him like that's him like it's just yeah Josh sticks uh i was thinking they'll definitely get remarried in the shows finale you have to see you have to see blaine the commuter chemistry between Shane and Steve is wild up tires i can already see that chemistry of martinian christian i mean that's what we're like so we're working on this video um for the kickstarter and again we both agree with him martinian has been very adamant to which i agree like you have to show the dynamic between us and you have to show the comments a lot of people know as for friends to know what they're getting themselves into and i said i agree um mic sorry this was mentioned what is martinian you for a living i'm a comedian yes that's what she does um well i mean i was i took a break to be a mom for a really long time yeah but she's doing she's she's doing she's doing some she's doing some stuff right now that's she's she's a comedian uh Blake quick when i said keeping your crew in the dark if you get a full season they can do a reaction video oh yeah we've kind of tough though not to have them kind of watch i mean if i give maybe early

copies for sure 100 percent uh martinian what small things will probably create an argument with your character toilet paper over and under leaving empty milk container in the fridge 100 oh the milk container someone drinking from the milk straight from the milk container that would drive her nuts yes would i yeah and he would do that Ron H. Ron burgundy he does so many things that totally Ron burgundy brought you two together k h you sex panther 60 percent of the time it works every time another Ron affected your lives rons are awesome thank you martinian you have like a collection of all of his oh it's like a book we would be here for four years martinian you're part of my Odyssey watch hollyweed he tries to oh so he tries to get everybody to watch hollyweed and they actually oh i'm see i would show a picture but i'm afraid i'd lose your sound so i'm not gonna do it actually they made it so there's a picture where you're hitting me with a sandal okay and then it's basically they turned it into ronsan watch hollyweed me going

no yeah uh sam martoni was an unconventional biopic that surprised and made me laugh i guess is dark comedy have you seen yet no i haven't i have not that one it's the one about Tony uh uh Anthony bourdain i want to see it i that's that's right up my alley i love that kind of stuff and i love i love Anthony bourdain uh well she's this is this is going to be a tough one for her to do it mart martini rathie sitcoms happy days morkin mindi boy me throw full house skilligan's island oh my goodness morkin mindi yeah a hundred percent number one yeah uh gilligan's island to okay i grew up i love happy days i used to watch all those rebounds i love happy days and then i'm gonna go full house and then boy meets world only because of my age i didn't really watch boy meets meets world um full house for sure all right how about this reading from us how many locations you got in mind for the show try i think like i mean i'm trying to think i'm many i can one two but just if there's an in front of the house in the back of that's just one location yeah i

think that podcast and interior and exterior is one of those i know three four i say between four maybe five maybe five okay because there's also where we first meet your character oh right right right um okay i'm sorry i said question last time i didn't throw in the question i brought up better things to say do you have enough jokes in the chambers so you turn so your show doesn't turn into a drama because of deadlines oh yeah i mean that's the beauty of us that's that that's what you get with us because everything's a joke to us yeah yeah and i take nothing seriously i mean childhood try left all the way through childhood trauma so everything is hilarious do you have any uh do you do any impressions me yeah no but i have i do do this one thing can i do it yeah sure you never seen that before yeah that's fucking crazy i used to be my that used to be my bar trick that's crazy i've never seen that before that might be able to turn into a short wow you

appeal to do if i could bring him on screen right now i can't do it but if i could bring him on he's he can't believe it doesn't that crazy yes that's so creepy i used to do it when i was pregnant and that is awesome oh that's so good wow that's that's insane in terms of impressions i i'm not i can do i can do it i can do it but i i think you worked on him you could i have a couple that i can do i just have it they're just rusty yeah shawm a cave shunt the best happy Friday guys hang top brothers kick starters gonna kick ass very excited for you and martin much love the mccade family thank you shawm thank you thank you you you guys have been so supportive all you guys they really really appreciate it jade did we hit they're really good did we hit the kickstarter goal yet well the goal today before martini it says bye bye is right or was my shirt was my shirt powerful enough maybe we're 2046 so we need about four more to hit 2050 go guys let's do it uh soul Alexa text David be and ask him if he could do a cover of woolly

bully yeah we we probably should ergo i'm excited for days that's under two but i hope it doesn't use the same stories the storyline is f1 it sounds like there's a lot in there i agree with you there's a number of race car movies in the past that used uh that saying storyline is f1 yeah it it it it did even these synopsis seems very similar i couldn't agree more thank you for that um they kind uh donation by the way past school hi and welcome back martini so far so far during this process was there something that you both thought was gonna be hard but it was easy or something that was easy something easy that was harder than expected it's a good question i'm gonna say the reaction to the script to be honest it the reactions that we've gotten to the script are we're so instant and so great right that we were kind of like oh okay i thought it's gonna we're gonna have to make a lot more notes to the story yeah or just i thought it was you know i thought we were just gonna be on our own right right no this is great i'm like oh okay great right um as far as there was

there's something you thought was gonna be hard but was easier that that um and and we won't have that luck for the whole series i'm sure but we but that's the pilot is no no not only for the whole series we're gonna be able i mean to i'm not saying they won't come up with ideas and everything too but we're not always don't say i was gonna be like yeah it's great go for it it's good we're gonna have and i and i hope that it doesn't happen i want to have collective input especially with a team that we're gathering um something that was harder than expected i think that that's gonna yes yes absolutely i think that's living in different cities that that yeah but that that we knew was gonna be a little tougher but no you know it was harder for me was was before we really decided on going with Kickstarter building we were we wanted to go last year and be doing this yeah you're right it's script's been done we wanted to go it was building towards it because none of us really had done this before but once we brought Craig on board it just went and Craig is super he's the best i love i love we were so lost and then he came in and like just figured it out for us this is i've done this before this is what we need to do let's go this way

and he's he's a master at it i think that's it i think that's what's hard about it as a creative person you have to know all these crazy things now to get projects made right like you have to know kickstart you have to know how to market yourself you have to do all this stuff and you're like i just want to write and be funny and he's like i got it yeah and to bring in people who can come and do those things for you i think is an unlock yeah 100% he's he's he's great he's he's made my life so much easier uh iosha you monster even if you only make one for me i need a damn beanie with the logo for the show i mean oh a beanie that's a good idea write it down yes peel d can you write that down the beanie i did smart um thank you i'm on it the pilot gets made and everything works when would the show likely come out well that's a different that that that there's that's phase two here here's well here's the answer to that for you if you back it right so the answer is um if it gets made and he works out as far as shooting it and you answered this question on the show and he was on so i'm not speaking out of turn he said he'd like to shoot it either December January if so that

that's the answer answer as far as shooting it as far as it coming out well you'd have to work depending on what we did it we shot if we shot the pilot like we're aiming for then you the next step is then to start to ship it to streamers and say who bites if you shoot if you're able to erase enough to shoot the series well then you started going to production in the series however i think that when it comes to the pilot itself whether it's ven uh vimeo or whatever it is backers are going to be able to see it yeah backers get to see it so the likely come out is when it's done and it's ready for backers to see then then then you'll see it yeah um how long did it come uh how long did it take you to come up with the show idea it came from a podcast that that i did with when bonny was on i talked about this like the idea was it was we were playing into a a bit and i've told you this marching is that people like i i dated it at an actual one point but they thought it was bonny and then we played into it and she came in and we um and we just heightened it

up and went further and further and i said how crazy would that be if if you really actually had to do that week and week out and i'm like oh wait a minute and i started then it started to formulate and that's that's where it came from oh my god it's such good tension yeah uh joseph martina if you watch fbi and cbs you look like alana de la carza i don't know her i don't know her joseph also says do you like working girls broad city oh yeah yeah thank you for thinking of things because my brain forgets yes neuroversion christian you definitely put a what happened cash year joke in the pilot right um i have one of my old stand-up it's in the pilot but not that that that's not this is an all this is a new one that i haven't done i probably will do on October uh eighth by the way but did i tell you this martina is this what happened thing oh we have to put it in there because it just i was that it's happened to me so many times it's a millennial it's a it's gen z gen z thing like i this kid young kid he's working at trader jose and i was like oh you

know i need to find out where the where they move the almonds to now i'm like you know excuse me man do you know where the where the almonds goes what happened nothing happened nothing happened was looking for the fucking almonds nothing happened and it happened again to me at like wall grains it's like they just hire anybody okay what happened nothing happened nothing happened nothing happened i walked into the fucking store i looked around i said oh shit we're gonna get myself oh there's the meat guy saw the meat guy last Wednesday and then i went around to the side that's i guess that's what all that happened why do you care what happened where the fucking almonds why did they say what happened that's a thing that they do what happened and yeah it and like and what happened it's like they don't want you to bother it's not like what happened you know you work here right Scott that's it greenie from us uh q is the dynamic you know you work here what happened what happened what happened q is the dynamic anything like sign felled and a lane relationship they weren't

that feisty though they did go for the occasional sneak into the back room what's no it's i there no it's very it's way more like martini said more like the the same and i'm almost like more conscientious yeah there's way more history yeah way there's a lot of history behind it too is remember and i you know and we'll we'll have the backstory on on the kickstarter as well too the things that because they they when they when they work they really worked but when they don't they really don't i feel like we all know those kinds of relationships yeah one of them yeah Ronnie smartini super toxic yes our crew has a cocaine holding security dude a Derek with a big Johnson and a long pickle that's dildin more there you go perfect yeah uh i just like they're like they're like high coups has martini seen big balls um the problem is i can't i'm i'm worried about putting uh that on the screen right now because it's my audio yeah but no she hasn't my mic what

depends who's i see i see big balls he's a cartoon chipmunk oh okay yeah would you guys do some charities of our show does great yeah 100 percent oh my god yes absolutely it depends on charity but yeah yeah martini who's some of your favorite stand-up comedians it's a good question that's a good question um um who haven't been canceled let me think um yeah even though so yeah my my answer changes a little oh gosh that's a really good question i'm so much more of like sketched comedy fangirl um let's see i mean i'd like different people at different times um and i wouldn't i have a hard time saying a name because maybe sometimes i'd i like some of their stuff and sometimes they didn't yeah um i'm a storyteller so i love um what's his face that tells stories uh what was his face what's his name he does a lot of women shows which micra baglia i think for me that's more my style i

really like storytelling i know he's a little more one-man show than stand-up yeah yeah that's good but i do like um i mean i like all the old guys you know all the classics but in terms of modern stuff i really like stories i love stories because i like it being based in like real um stuff i appreciate comedy and i i appreciate you know punchlines but i really like storytelling yeah ron h k.h reads me as bucy i'm more like a lower toned big balls who's that christian would you like to introduce martini to mr. balls i just i'll try to do it before she leaves knowing that i'm gonna lose her sound um so uh gish gala eight three five four any consideration by making this tighter producer i feel like you blackmail some pretty back i see what you what you're doing there is good princess positive i'm back to the stream just to ask for big balls plushy for my kiddos i mean i it's like you know i talked to craig though there's like making some of these things are um it just expensive expensive yeah askle any chance martini makes it to your comedy show

in october with mark and gen well she's in california she's gonna do it yeah it's a little tricky but the funny thing is my anniversary weekend oh yeah see so the funny thing is though had we've been doing this back when i left uh martini i performed together uh at the comedy server before we like my last day with my going away show uh brockmeyer is about if we raise enough money we can tour together brockmeyer is about a baseball announcer who was viral for crashing out of his wife cheating on air he becomes content and ten years later he returns on the ends of the meme uh that's cool that's it's interesting there's an interesting kind of similarity there for nothing to uh oh but yeah that yeah that's cool uh mike the thing martini did should be a sound by she should be a voice actor have a puppet with that voice a hundred percent which voice that i do oh the thing yeah the one you talk when you know you're talking like you possessed uh throes walker big balls merge with rock i can't imagine what my face looked like when i did that by the way you'll see it on the replay big balls merge with rock okay we do work on that i mean yet it's like yeah i mean look people actually a big balls plus you would be hilarious it just

would be expensive uh another bit for the show is have said the squid come into the studio or character recording or podcast you don't know what happened there either do you so i was i always lock my door the one over there i always lock it the one day i did in these two like Verizon guys came in while i was on i was on air and i was in one of my yeah and i was in one of my moods like and so oh i know that yeah i'm no no but no but like my goofy like oh uh uh mood mood and then you bright the good one and then they walk in and um and i was like what are you guys do you i'm on the air what are you doing and i called one of the guys in i go who you said i'm sit the squid i go sit the squid next thing that we're talking about him and he called himself sit the squid and then on on instagram you said the squid yeah the Verizon guy uh yeah sit the squid we should find out that the cinema kid loving this chemistry i can't wait for the pilot thank you sinning yeah uh i oh she have your respective spouses prepare themselves when you bring become huge stars thanks for our show well that's very nice uh i think

look i i owe my spouse to Christian so that's true he was a great let me say i as she mentioned his name so i'll mention adam is is a is a wonderful wonderful human being and i got a channel i don't question everything i played with him i played with him on my baseball he was on my baseball team that's how we met and um and we just would crack each other up and um and it's i i don't know if i ever told this story on the air but it's one of my and i still think ed has school is gonna love this story so we play i think adam and i played on the same team on uh because look i was playing i was playing in baseball and this was like in two thousand and three or yeah two thousand three well from two thousand three up until two thousand like five we were playing together so we were playing on this team together and it was it was it was it was our ball we were playing and everything and so we had these like college with first season we did okay second season we had these college guys the guys who played professionally in college they were our

age too but they played professionally and we won every game we want we want we won the championship we want everything we we did okay but they were like hilarious they then they all left and played in another league and we came in dead last right we lost we lost every game because we were in the same league is that that update up to us a league because we were so good you were but they all left and went to a higher league so we were in a shit losing every single game so by the time we got to the last like it was like the last two or three games we knew we were done and i don't know why but Finstock was on my team too for the people who know uh Tom Diagnino and so we um i don't know why i had i think it was DJs but i had a harmonica and i brought the harmonica with me and i was playing i think it was right field and i and i said and yeah yeah because Diagnino was in center and i go dude i'm going to play their harmonica and catch a fly ball i go i don't think that's ever been done in the history of baseball and Diagnino looks at me he goes do it so the balls hit

catch it i go i am the first person in the history of baseball to ask the catch while playing harmonica and i get in the fire he goes and your husband goes dude no fucking awesome it was the best he still tells that sorry yeah it's so good um all right let's see uh it would be funny if i wish i knew somehow got snuck into the turning i wish i could play all these bits for martini's as long as they're audio uh martini's trick uh martini's trick made me twice more excited over the show i know it's going to be hilarious did that get extra signups just for that i hope so let's see um i owe any extra sign i'm gonna i'm gonna attribute any extra signups to my boys the special i have a special phone call coming in for you oh then i'm gonna i'm gonna bring it's your dead father oh don't do that

this is so weird i feel like i'm unlike moron hello can you can you hear can you hear that martini yes okay it's sam we got sam yeah so there's my new favorite person in the whole world by the way i had to log on today i had to i was looking at the time i'm like yeah she knows she's my teeny's on do you know how important is it do you know that sam has not watched my show in maybe two years and i'm not and now i'm so honored i have to tell my business for it's like sure so so sam you on you wanted to i mean so sam is actually she she watched the video she's seen the she's sam was sitting here martini like asking me questions about like overall series because she's so invested in the show but like but what so yeah please yes yeah go ahead so many questions yeah but the one thing i had never seen um like you know you guys together and when i saw the video the first thing that i said to him was your chemistry is crazy like you guys look like our true

like actors and the with your banter and then she's hilarious yes she's like a plat and i'm not gonna dive into more than that because i definitely have that it's pulling the beans but yeah i was i was dying at this one thing that you did and i was just like this is gonna be so good and then i started like asking him questions like so where does this go where does that go and i was like we got this guy that we have to do this like this has to she's been checking she's been checking the the the campaign martiniam it's like we're at two thousand we're at two thousand you're the best ever yeah she she can't hear you but martini said you are the best ever and then i follow her on instagram hold on hold on i got yeah so that that that's a potential spoiler i didn't i didn't give it any family same uh any uh information on that nothing i'll tell you i'll tell you off air um yeah so but uh but in general i'm making the idiot of myself on insta

yeah she's a so martiniam and i've been talking about this show where who's super excited about and we're glad that you like you know because i run stuff and things by yourself i was glad that you responded to it the way you did no yeah this is gonna be great guys i'm literally following the kick starter um site like all the time like i was on it i couldn't sleep at two in the morning and i you were like eighteen something yeah and i was like oh my god i was like this is gonna this is gonna happen this is gonna happen you're the best you know seriously and i did say one thing and no you know respect respectfully yeah i was looking at all these other kick starter campaigns yeah and looking at what they've done and one hit six million and i looked at it and i'm like they got nothing on your concept like it's okay but it's not like maybe because you know you're my best friend but like i was like whatever i was like you guys could definitely kill it so i'm i'm excited to see you guys you're the best Sam and you're uh thank you go and um i'll see you i'll see you next week yeah all right she you know you bye she i mean there's a reason i think i think if everyone had

a Sam in their life like the world would be a different place you know i guess people have people have fallen rightfully so have fallen on love with her oh my god she is so amazing yeah she is a fountain of joy i if we would have kept that scene in that we cut with the cutting the you know in the car she could have been that person oh my god 100% that's great oh back to one she's coming in she's coming in to one mark so let's see uh it's what she said but she says to me my good uh okay i've it hey Christian hey martini terribly sorry i'm late i got hung up at the clinic today how are you both you doing honestly such an honor to talk to both you we're doing good thank you on great just add some coffee where my green shirt yeah uh the issue with merch is it's expensive this is what same said that's why you got to be smart about it rather than say yes to everything eight hundred percent yeah that's why we should do a poll of like what people want mark walker dark martini hashtag trending hikou watch hashtag trending martini and Christian rock they will blow your mind thank you so yeah good hikou i know joseph ashtray will there be a small

backstory on our show description later on the Kickstarter or is there risk them will still the ideal friend well we have it we have an you know copyrighted you know it's also too it's as far as the show description i mean there's kind of a show description on there now yeah yeah um if we waste enough money for christian to make a Sid the squid mascot costume i called dibs i'm wearing it to some restaurant i'm gonna go on to the side boat 26 between the two of you who do you think can make the other crack while filming scenes i know the answer to that oh god i'm the easiest person to crack in the world it's gonna be actually really hard for me to be angry at christian because he gets me like that it's it's a problem it's a problem i honestly have to i thought about this because what i thought about that because of it and i don't know how and we just something we'll have to discuss obviously in the preparation for it but that day and if you really have demand i've got to try to do something in real life then they can't you not happy with me that day you really do i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm just gonna load myself with everything that's true i mean that's and just have to go back to that one day our one our one fight that's a red car i'll walk

red carpet did not say that i've never said those words in my life oh my god i forgot that i fall sick the squid and he follows me back let me see if i can find an update on that's amazing oh we got a new member thank you mark moron begin to remember thank you so much that's welcome aka dorety hey christian and martini i can't wait for our show and i'm setting a paycheck aside to donate to y'all that is so kind you currently know the biggest tier on the kickstarter how high did the tiers go um i don't know and i'm gonna let cragg do that i i have a neighborhood um but i will tell you that there was something that was brought up on our last call that martini and i were on that will be a tier that all of us on the call win oh my god like that is you know what i'm talking about right martini like the one particular thing that was offered and and really yeah so there there are things up there that are i think so it's the yeah it's i don't remember yesterday but yeah if you think about it it was something that someone suggested like well i don't i don't want

to just assume that you've done before i didn't do this so someone someone on our phone call suggested well i don't want to just assume we might sound douchey but what if i do this and everyone's like yes you should absolutely do that oh oh yes yes on our on our on our production call yes oh yeah we got some good stuff that that alone is is gonna be like oh my god like uh so yes they go higher there's so many things there are limited tiers as well too but there's gonna be some some good stuff fun stuff yeah uh aka darty martini and christian why did you choose the names you did for your characters and you realize people inspired stories behind names great question um it's a good question so dany came from i don't know when when i when that was back and because the idea was that he was somewhat related to um the bartender in my first one that's where it came from it was supposed to be Tommy and and and danie lions and now they maybe soft the Jason are and i we haven't really talked about this really matter if it is a perdison

uh even though katie was the original name of the character and it wasn't based off of of anybody just it was just happened to be and i was changing and i was changing it and did i ever tell you the start do you know who named kelly no my eight-year-old really yeah and i and i and i was talking about i said well she does this this and and and i we i was coming up with these ideas of different names and she goes so like i like the name kelly i like the name kelly's a great name that's hilarious because it's such a genx name in my mind you know and she came up with it like my eight-year-old i was like it was amazing so your eight-year-old should be a writer on the show she's uh she absolutely should be a writer and she had no idea i told you what she said to sati right i say the one that that line when she was when um sati was and i were moving stuff from the garage into the basement and and she had and macy had a friend over and they were like tying their shoes wherever and we're walking on the city just like belting out this tune and like really really loud and she looks at the friend the friend's laughing and she looks at

macy and goes honey i'm sorry am i embarrassing you amazing he goes no you're embarrassing yourself but it was like this it was so quick sati laughed so hard so good it was so good it was so good it was so good um okay she has both of your sense of sure it does we got martini for another 30 minutes and it's then it's it so we'll get your questions now and then we're out um oh i'll stay i'll stick around finally became a member today thank you lee henry i listen every day in the car i'm inspired by this endeavor after 20 years away from music i'm in a band again with my daughter it's never too late that's the coolest thing that's the best that's awesome to you that's the thing like you know that's what this story that's what you want to show you to do yeah it's like it's fire people to just go for whatever at any whatever you are like they i think that's something that's so big in my mind is showing people that nothing it's never too late number one number two like just do what's fun and do it like structs joy you know and then

everything else kind of goes from there well what martini said beforehand is so true and where things are like echoing life right like to where you look at both danian kelly and their characters are they're trying to it's too late for them people tell you they they they had their glory they had this they don't they they're old dinosaurs they don't know what they're doing and then the ideas can they make it happen same thing with martini and i right like you know it's like oh you're in youtube and you do podcast you you're an actor and so long what are you trying to do martini what do you want what are you trying to do this just do that what are you doing and it's like it they parallel each other and it's to have us a comment like that it's never too late you're 100% that's the whole point of this and it's a great narrative to this story in general yeah Blake quick a scene with you two interviewing painting barber could be great especially if she makes Danny color mommy i actually told martini about this and she was the one who said of course because i said when we when we interviewed the adult porn star or adult porn star what did i even say that the adult film star the and i said i said she was great interview and you're like yeah and

i said that would be amazing if the two of them interviewed her down the line because she she actually would be really great and so you know like that so little kidding that's what's so fun about the show too is like there'll be podcasts guess on the podcast that they're doing and that that just adds more humor and more fun for 100% it does yeah great name fucking you even if this fails miserably i appreciate the attempt you gotta try everything about failing failing you have to celebrate your failures you learn from them i love this comment it's my favorite comment today for so many different reasons one look at his face uh can you see it oh it's amazing to fuck you is so good and then even if this fails miserably this gets the best he should be in the show unbelievable uh where'd you go oh sorry i was looking at the picture sorry okay i was trying to see him they're right i can't don't worry about it uh james wheeler that's huge james thank you next we

got to turn 53 and celebrate it'll be so excited to support our show thank you james that's super fun you know very nice yes thank you uh jettler it's really amazing thank you a.k. dorey james thank you so much james wheeler by the way it's been such a great supporter of this channel i can't thank you enough so really thank you a.k. for being a member run h i wonder if christian went ha shaw through the mic if sam would still get scared i hope sam gets to be a character on trending even i think so too i think so too i think we're the ring sam's rock yeah you know 100 reissue james we have sam absolutely yes it's the lady who curses me out 100% uh joseph actually will there be any california jokes like having birds frost your park car or your best friends hooker gives love advice or funny road rage and traffic i mean four or five freeway i'm sure this l.a. will be somewhat of a otter i'm sure yeah yeah we have to we have to make fun of her she's a mess avant martini could you please talk a bit about your approach to writing characters especially those down at a certain point in their life would you approach them from an analytical perspective

that's really interesting i always like to write characters from like an inspiration of someone i know yeah so i always like to draw from real people or real experiences that i've had or people i've met in my life because that gives me a basis and a framework and it also really drives the authenticity of it right and of the situation i can immediately i'm not just making it up but i'm basing it on actual things that happen and luckily i didn't think of it then but i've had so much crap happening in my life yeah that i have a lot to draw from i've i've lived a million lives so i really do draw from the 10 different places i've lived the all the different chaos in my life so i do draw from that or friends or people i've met but that's where i begin and then i really find their vulnerabilities i speak from vulnerabilities i think that's what you're writing as people's insides and then you can you know do the jokes and the quirk all the other stuff from the outside ego right i think i think i like writing characters with layers so that's kind of my approach yeah

agreed um this martini have any more tricks says mic moody oh god that's a good question um you can juggle she can juggle i can juggle i can juggle oh my god yes when i was a kid i got a juggle kid for christmas i was a kid are you kidding i was 15 i was such a loser um and i learned i taught myself i had a juggle yeah it's very cool um sam actually my sam wrote wrote and said um martina i love and adore you please smacked christian in the back of the head when he does eventually scare you or tries i'm about to throw a bunch of myself like that by the way she hasn't like close line june then i well because i kind of get out of the way you're smart you're from a distance i've done it i mean i've gone she's gonna get you to do a different place eventually she will i'm gonna do it she should she tried to scare me once and she gave up because it didn't work oh you know what i hate to tell you i'm really good at scaring people in college i hidden um my friends closet for like three hours that's that's that's dedication uh i'm never gonna writing question writing jokes what are your thoughts and referencing celebs pop culture jokes we

have a few of them in there it's amazing how king of queens pop culture jokes are still relevant today with who they choose i think that depends on the joke right and like i think i think i also like the they're in pop culture right so like at the sub of the guess i think it's part of the character of the show i think i definitely think that will probably come in yeah uh green it doesn't come in a lot in a pilot because we're kind of setting up everything yeah there's a few kind of references for slub oh yeah yeah yeah yeah uh gotta try get bird christian on the show green i mean anybody look anybody's gonna be hopefully anybody's in play you know a k martini christian says other than telling the story he's hoping the pilot brings attention to the channel in the long run as well are there any opportunities for yourself that you hope that the pilot brings you long term what a great question a k come in and hi here today i like it's a good question um long term god you know just uh that's a really good question if if it doesn't go over it does go i mean long terms it would be oh i mean long term would be working with my favorite people and having fun every day um creating something funny for you guys you know and making people laugh i think that

would be fun um yeah i mean i don't i really don't come in with like i need this and this and this and this it's more like this is super fun and i just want to keep doing it you know and as far as opportunities go to i think one of the things that would lend us to do is potentially do a show a podcast with myself and martini oh yeah that would be fun exactly like actually do the podcast right and then have you know guests and stuff that they would typically have right right so that that would be a cool opportunity for the both of us that would be fun yeah uh ron h okay so trending it's about old people doing stuff despite them being old this is so my show why i'm old is it 74 yes i do i do stuff i may fuking love this show thank you right yeah where where your sweet spot okay i think so i think i got a couple left here motor rolling hey johi you know johi johi took our photos martini johi this is not kickstarter related at all but the big guy had his first practice with his new team oh dear it's into the bed news bear equipment was made

of wet paper hilarious i love johi's story about us good virgin what kickstarter tier funds christian some non plastic eyeglasses you don't want to do that is you know i buy these i buy these bullshit glasses because they break all the time and i you know it's so funny i was just looking at your glasses that you need new glasses like what are you wearing i buy i buy bullshit glasses because they always broke and i i always tell people and this is throughout my entire life my wife won't do it in motion to make over he's gonna get it no glasses no no listen to me because my wife did is my ex girlfriend who you knew did this to used to buy me sunglasses expensive ones and i said don't do that i said they will be gone they will be broken they will be lost that's true fair enough i'll never forget this i went and bought these really expensive sunglasses what i lived in LA and i was like you know what and i'm at the time i couldn't afford them and it was like it was way too much that was your problem you knew you're gonna live if you can't afford them martina not only did i lose them i went to rouse right after i bought them and left them at rouse

within within 20 minutes of buying them and i'm like never again this is not doing um last time i collected and ten jewels gold coin thank you avont also as both actors and writers do you make up a complete backstory for your character than we as an audience might not be privy to like do you have to justify their actions as a writer as an actor i li martina was i live in the backstory list i live in the backstory like to me if i'm going to be able to conjure up memories and ideas and emotions from this person i got to know why that he was in the place that he was in so i constantly come up with them the backstory all of it and and i love this too as martina will be like oh well why did and sometimes you'll ask me is what are you having them in a you know that you thought they they did this to this and i drove to her sick oh okay cool um but i love the backstores side of it and you guys will be privy to some of it maybe not all of it maybe on kickstarter yeah and maybe to some of it eventually down the line in the series but also we're also thinking about doing flash some flashbacks

easily so i think that we have a really great flashback that we want to do and i think that's fun to kind of go back into that with our world yes and i think that we talked about this i talked about it where there was someone that had asked me the other day if we ever thought about flashback scenes and i said we actually we actually started the initial pilot with a flashback scene that we both love like we love it it's a great scene it just it's you don't need it for the pilot well it's also very expensive for the pilot it was also very expensive for the pilot yeah so we're thinking about episode two yeah yeah uh nerd virgin for the 11 to 12 hour live stream marathon is there a special plan from our teenies times law maybe a Hollywood reaction i don't think she's gonna do a reaction but she'd definitely be on for the live stream you know whatever time i'm i'm gonna be i'm gonna start at like eight in the morning or what is this on the 22nd when we launch oh all right tell me when to show up yeah so yeah she'll be here we just got to figure out when Mike what other projects are smart team working on besides our show

well it looks slowly come out but i'm working on a couple things and once i figure out what they are exactly i'll definitely let you guys know but i'm working on some stuff yeah you'll announce on this show more more kind of yeah yeah walker dark uh for our show you need to write a scene or a teeny where you're juggling three balls with words help me and stuck while you're close no i think there is a moment where she's really trying to show all of her talents in one 30-second moment for some reason you're gonna have to you're gonna have to do that trick yeah camera you're gonna have to like like like being like Danny i'm more talented than you and they'll be a talent off you know uh christian and martin what famous person would you want to guest star in the show everybody in the channel christian already has his does everybody know yours everybody knows i go ahead and say it julie Roberts yeah really knows that for me oh god that's a good question i mean who would mind be i don't know anyone really funny come on there's gonna be somebody you'd be like oh me god that'd be amazing that that person was on bill Murray bill

oh god yeah sure love don't learn yeah done yeah um jd reviews is training a mockment we did that one right uh uh no not yet we we answered that one a little earlier uh oh the mock uh okay i can't see yeah yeah uh yeah thank you so much jd for really appreciate but yeah no no it's it's more as we say like i think hacks and bears more of a appropriate but there's elements because of the kind of things footage that the interns are taking of them in the studio and that will get incorporated in funny ways yeah oh so kevin comes in here and this is i took kev we actually mentioned this earlier uh the real kevin smets i've had the pleasure seeing these two rift for about an hour in character this is the thing we said when we did reactions to um viral like viral videos and stuff and things and we send it to kevin who's gonna cut like shorts and stuff out yes yes yes something i reveal and let me tell you they are magic hilarious they're relatable they nailed it can't wait to see both you shine yeah he he came in and did um and he did the edits for us on a couple of these and we just didn't wind up promoting any of that stuff yet we were going up we were going to create a channel of kel and danie reacting and doing stuff and we started

kind of shooting some of those in the editing them yeah great job too um yeah those were really funny new member they're oh actually uh era human is a member for 13 months it's amazing thank you so much uh last one for now avant what also fascinates me the most are certain nuances about the characters like certain ticks that they might have are those put into the script or both of you as actors thinking about during filming i think there's a mixture of both right there's definitely certain things that she that kelly does that she's way more neurotic than like he is right yeah he's he's got his things and perfectionist yeah and he's stubborn in in the way that he does stuff and but there's also things that he does like what he nuances everything too and and i don't know if you guys have been noticing for a very long time there's shmows and everything too i would wear you know whether it was uh shirts from like other movies or everything or whatever it might be where there were flannels or whatever i have for the last year been consciously when wearing

solid shirts with his black shirts he's got a very specific thing that he does he wears black shirts he's simple and i also think i also think a lot of the nuance can come from like with actors in their in their activity right so like what they're doing right so giving them something to do and i think a lot of personality comes out in that in whatever they're doing you know and and how they do it and you know i i always kind of like i think that there's a lot of nuance and that's why i love performing i love having an activity because that allows the character to come out and whatever you're doing too i agree um ed two hundred two thousand fifty two followers did it mark it did it so let really need forty eight more just to hit twenty two hundred and that's forty when you mean twenty one hundred twenty one hundred twenty one hundred if you still haven't signed up it's free enter and confirm your email and then click notify me and that is it that's right that's all you got to do we're gonna try to do that boys all the time i'm trying to get to five thousand before the twenty second so hopefully you guys sign up now this for for now is the last one

uh nerver version how now that we are in the home stretch before the kickstarter begins how are you two feelings a great question nervous anxious excited how do you keep calm before the storm i think for me an answer is all the above i i you know i i'm i'm excited like yeah we just keep getting new news and every time you get new you're like wow that is so great oh my god that's so fun like holy cow you know it's just i think that's where i am i don't feel nervous because like if it if it's meant to work it's meant to work i feel like it is but um i think it's just fun like you're like the reactions we've been getting and the people coming aboard it's just like all right super fun i think that it's also christian is also running the kickstarter right so i'm like i'm great it's so i'm really it's super cool christian i speak for yourself mother singing yeah

i guess this is so easy this kickstarter thing no it's not a nervous anxious excited is all that right because like i'm putting everything that i have into it i mean i had to give warnings to my wife she's selling themselves so i know i mean i want i would try to give warnings to my wife i said you know for i'm taking we're doing something very special for her birthday we kind of want to make sure that because i know that once we really get into this i'm i'm gonna be unavailable to anybody except you guys right i really am and it's like i'm gonna be everywhere doing everything that i can to make this happen because i'm not just doing this like i said making this happen for me i am not i'm trying to make this happen for my my good friend and some of the i know i cannot wait to be working with i'm also doing this for all of you because of what we've been talking about of like it's just we're it's such a cool era that like i was really like the fact that we can even do this the fact that we can do in the fact that i was thinking about like people who are pitching stuff to other networks and things like we're we're going so far past that right now we're like we're not going in the pitch too because that was the conversation i've talked

about a sunny year and i'll bring in an intro and i will talk about it where we had that conversation after the the we tried to go one route in the crowdfunding it wasn't going the way that we thought it was before we did kickstarter and then Andrew was like you know is there a world where you just want to go and package it do the traditional thing and like for a split second i was like oh maybe that's what we should do and then we were in the parking lot and i said no i never had a chance my audience never had a chance i'm like i wanted to give you guys a chance because we get to make this this is us we're going to do this together this is groundbreaking you know it's all happening the democratization of it all is happening and the fact that you know we could do this and go around the gatekeeping and you know kind of just have people decide what they want to see and put their money about directly behind it i think there's something um should be inspiring about it yeah it is and and it's also why i really wanted you to come on today because you were on last time and it and it was in you were able to introduce yourself but we weren't really able to talk about a lot of stuff right so now by doing it like they really get to see you and i and understand like what we're

doing and i think that's important for people that are going to be having this thing um mic who was the troublemaker while making our show i'd say both of us right either of us are innocent we're both troublemakers yeah we both but i i don't think there's really a lot of troublemakers though as far as when it came to like writing because we knew important it was when we need to get done yeah when when when when we're down to business we're down to business yeah yeah but i think 90 percent of our total morons yeah yeah totally martina is your character draw or paint neither neither that requires way too much patience that she doesn't have just not have a kc g i her daughter probably would though yes her daughter yes definitely definitely if a streaming service picks up the pilot where they don't give you a strict episode length wouldn't that be a dream uh yes yeah yeah or yeah because it's like okay you know what because you write it you're like uh you're trying to cut it out and you're like well that takes changes the rhythm and it changes the what's you know it changes okay i mean to have that flexibility will it allows shows to shine now

okay if you end up way over shooting the kickstarter goal would you prioritize making a season or top tier pilot well it depends on what that budget is right because like as i've been saying like what i've been looking at the numbers and things too when you look at what the guild did for a film they broke they beat the Veronica Mars record and when they made like 6.7 i'm looking for one point oh my god wow i'm looking for like a movie tv show i don't you know i we we could break the record if we say now let's say we got lucky enough and we were blessed enough to do what the guild did and we made 6.7 you can make a series on on that like that you can make a series like that now if you overshot it and you did like 600 to a million on it well that also depends on what my martini was talking about too what kind of music are we getting what kind of director director photography you know kind of crew we get what kind of actors are we getting so then it starts to be public you know what we didn't have this amount to offer so and so for the role of this now we do

so it depends on what that number is when you overshoot so okay when you ask when you overshoot the kickstarter goal it really just depends on by how much you know like we're i would love to have that conversation in like day 20 with our production team and going we're here now martini and i really need to start figuring out what the series looks like and what our writing schedule is going to be and how we make that work to shoot the series that would be great that would be a dream that would be a dream yeah a dream uh daniel and xp i brought up ramalon because it was also a 30 minute comedy pilot about the podcast world set in la charlie sheen and kevin connolly would leave oh that was the dog el one interesting yeah but you know what i mean that was after entourage i assume that he picked up okay but that goes to wait and i need them to this conversation yesterday with i'll talk about it off here about a mutual person that we built no and we were just talking about how the taboo of kickstarter has changed dramatically from like 10 years ago i don't think exact

breath would have gotten the same shit today that he did when he was kickstarting back then so it's like up because you look at your celebrity and you're this you can't the system is not easy to crack through no matter who you are and even so like i don't think that if you ran that today i don't think you would get shit i really don't do you get a lot of shit for the first oh we got a ton of shit for doing that kickstarter movie is like oh you're a celebrity what do you need a crowd fund for and it's like i think people understand it more now um eerie hum hey from new zealina love you work thank you so much it's super kind new's near it yeah haven't martini a silly question this one what do you look for when what you do you bump your knee you hurt yourself in ways that i oh my god you guys yeah where do you look when you need inspiration as a writer and what pushes you the most in case something isn't quite working out the way you want it to hmm for an inspo for writing for sure my life um

anytime i have stories i think of what stands out to me of just you know what makes me laugh or cry and then um so that's for inspiration what was the second part uh second part was and you need inspiration as a writer what pushes you the most in the case something isn't quite working out the way you wanted it to hmm that's actually a really good point i get stuck on things sometimes and i can kind of loop on it you know and i just kind of i'm like i can't see it honestly space taking space away from it even if it's like a week and i just kind of get away from it and just look it out of my head yeah yeah yeah and then you come back to it i mean christian i took actually kind of a big break and then we came back to it with fresh eyes and it was like something completely different well yeah there's something i remember there's yeah i remember that whole thing what happened yeah yeah yeah that's one of the best things that happened yeah uh dorth mischief if the show gets big and you guys become popular will you start acting and other things if offered i can definitely see you both hosting s and l for real that's very kind um the answer for me is no um what what would you start acting in other things no you wouldn't either right me i

mean i have no idea what i would do yeah i'm saying i i feel like you would and i feel like you should i mean you have to remember guys we're we're old in this industry yeah but i think you're i what the thing is what you use i but i think that life i think the thing is you you you you're you're a wonderful mom your wife and you do i i think that life has i'm not but thank you no you are but the what life took you and said well we're gonna do this right now and you said okay and you said obviously there's other stuff behind but the thing is that you're so fracking talented that it wouldn't let you get away so it's pulling you back in i'm saying and and but the thing is what i don't what i keep trying to tell them i tell martini we won't go too deep into we had a phone call when we were talking about doing this and acting and everything too i said there's no one else that can do this version of her you have this is you you're doing this and you have and she and she she within second she knows that she said this is her she's super talented and that's so i sam fell in love with her and it's why you guys are gonna fall in love with her and you will be doing other things but i'm not i'm not doing um why do i like it yourself i want to do i like

interview with people i talk to people and i were always like no we're good we're fun yeah for me for me like that's it but that was what i tell people too like many but most people have been very supportive of what i want to do i know this character i think in this character i know how to i know like maneuver him and i know how to interact with you know who i need to interact with as this character i don't want to do shakespeare you know what i mean like who's doing shakes now but i'm just saying the people are like oh you have an actor in so long i'm like i'm like i know this guy i don't necessarily know i and i wrote this guy right with with more teeny i don't want to audition i don't want to right no i think that's actually the thing like i'm going on doing the whole audition circuit i think creating our own thing like if after this like creating something else that's mine oh sure then yeah i i don't i wouldn't just go like i don't think i would go audition for things i would rather like create something i've been i've been very adamant about this i want to tell this story that is the things i want to tell the story of danian kelly

i know where we both the two us know where it goes i want to tell that story i want to talk to people on my podcast i want to continue this i want to make sure that my kids and my wife are happy and that's all i want to do it's so funny and we we come from that such pure place we're both the same we're like i just want to you know make a great life oh i want to do i just want to be able to tell you and i like and have fun and like work with people you like being with and make fun things yeah last one people yeah it's 100 percent just wanted to say i'm really excited to contribute to our show and make this happen thank you i lost my closest friend and improv buddy in 2023 i'm so sorry i'm so sorry big dreams that i can help you do yours wow i can't even tell you how nice and uh that's awesome thank you that's really hard though i'm sorry yeah but that's really awesome so they're still with you yeah one billion of us that's really nice that you said that and also the fact that we were able to give you that and that's why i want people to see that process so you can feel that too right that you can feel it yes because it can be infectious right in our

virgin i think so so let's all do it together man and and again thank you for sharing that with us it's a fun thing like there's something that i love about social media is the social aspect and like it really does bring people together around things it makes you find your people yeah and it just allows you to connect in ways that you normally wouldn't connect i mean the show there's a lot of people don't live in a lay who don't wouldn't do make you know be making a show or something and now it's like hey let's all collectively take our interest in making something fun and do it together via social media i don't know i think it's so cool um only have our team for like two more minutes so i'll get to what i can mark ron ron a it's martini offered kicks oh i mean it's sorry martini offered k h kicking something or someone to start things off but he said no do i have your permission to kick someone it adds to my badass image i think to i don't want to give anyone permission to kick someone don't do that lucia devol hashtag trending is there any non negotiables in the writers room where everyone has to agree well i don't i mean i don't i don't know the answer that question i don't think so no i don't think so i think whatever i think it's

always kind of like um the consensus you know whatever makes the most people laugh um that's kind of where i go i wish you sending you both love portoriko thank you i hope you're doing my best sharing promoting to ever i can i want to help make your dreams reality because you help us laugh in these dull times bless you both it's true the world is a lot right now we need more comedy you guys this is crazy like we're all the just comedies late quick this show is going to be a hit these you can tell how much every person involved is so invested in loves the project that's really nice and i hope that i mean i hope so too and it's like i was saying because you know i am you during the shmodown days pildi knew it for an two i was always like okay we got this thing i got to tell everybody about it now and like the thing that we have that we can't talk about now i was high-sense you i'm like let's announce it today and then i was anxious like let's wait you're in person of androod because we can wait uh martini who's an idea person to play your parents or families is Joseph Ashley oh that's a really good question uh well it's based on

real family or Kelly family uh yeah we gotta figure out her family we we we have to dive a little deeper into her family i don't think we have her family in mind yet that's a good question is we his we know i don't know if a drama they're bringing it i got to figure out what her what her uh trauma is and then that would help me figure out who's sure um martini do you have a place musical playlist to get creative i do yeah i do listen to music a lot when i write that really gets me into the vibe for sure yeah mike what do you like to do in your free time martini what are your interests oh my goodness oh my interests are um i'm with my kids a lot not going to lie that's probably takes up everything um if i didn't have them to for a day i mean i love hiking i like being outside i i really like being near the ocean that's probably my favorite thing to do yeah uh last two when you show heirs do you think you'll go and jimmy kimmel show and crack jokes and i mean i thought it wasn't hey how i'll be that be a nice dream yeah i've on't are you both allowed to have opinions on your characters and the decisions they make or is it important important

to your impartial to them as the one bringing them to life oh we definitely have opinions on our characters for sure because we have like that's what we discuss it together yeah and they do things that we don't like you know they're not they that's what brings them that's what makes them them you know they aren't us right and and it's whatever is in the scenario and the situation that that brings true to them but they're you're shittier than us in a lot of ways and different than us in a lot of ways and we definitely have opinions about them yeah that's it um i'm i'll let you go but before we do you might lose let me say let's see if you lose sound tell me if you lose sound i'll let me do let me do this first did you lose sound no okay good then that's good news because then i'm gonna put you i'm gonna you can hear me right yeah okay how's it going my tini oh my god my cina oh my god why why is that chipmunk have giant balls what is happening well we shouldn't call me a squirrel so we're we good we could listen i'll be telling one thing

if you're gonna write in a a little part about a chipmunk make sure you write one about a chipmunk who'd be fucking oh my god yeah yeah that's what i do elephant giraffe it don't matter crazy i'm crazy yeah yeah so you didn't do that for me this is what they want a plushie of oh yeah they want to lay in my balls they want to lay right in my balls and make them a little pit i can hit you balls plushies yeah can i interview pity Bob uh yes thank you all right so there is this this this big ball that is burned into my memory now yeah most most people so um all right listen the show is trending and you guys go and you check it out um once again it begins on the 22nd currently making for your support yeah no 100% the look let's two thousand 57 as of today we're gonna try to hit 2100 beforehand um do you want to anywhere that you want people to

follow me dance for more should i dance for more no no you get you get a potato quality right now so forget it what is what is potato quality like oh white person dancing no you're your computer looks like you're shooting it with a potato right now because it's like you're losing you're not you're not getting good reception right now oh oh okay yeah um all right get out of here i'll see you i'll talk to you later um it's great to have you on as always and we'll have you back on the 22nd for sure so we can uh get this thing going can't wait guys see later all right great martini peritory everybody so i'm glad you guys got a chance to uh to meet her and i'll bring peel d back how great is she oh are you guys together magic man it's really good and she though she's really funny she's she's right with your humor too that's what makes it work yeah so uh let's uh and i'll ask if people have more questions for me to want me to go i mean like i said i'll do i said i would do a super show today i will um but if people want to ask more questions they certainly can if not that's fine but um see how do you do your characters of siblings that will

be support characters so i can tell you his um he's got a younger sister that he definitely gets along with but he's pretty kind of strange from both of them when it starts and his his brother it's kind of his pissed off on his brother's pissed off on um so you know if that works out towards the end we'll see i in my mind and we like i said we have to dive a little deeper into kelly like um she definitely has a sister that her family dynamically that build a little bit more into but um but that's it so let's see let's get into let's get into a few more questions we want how do you appeal to me i he's a smoldown guy he was a big actually i don't know but do i meet she Houston is the first time i met you the first time we met was actually at celebration for the smoldown the stars because i skipped the last Jedi panel and was front in line for the s-bow down match oh did you skip and you you skipped and you cheated the line actually i was i'm not i went to the 40th anniversary panel i'm like i'm not sleeping in the fucking concrete for another panel i told them i i that was when the smoldown was in that was in the the height of its powers

and i told celibate i was Orlando right yep i told them that he said we're going to give you a room of 600 people i said we need a bigger room it's if you're not going to sell out 600 people if you are we'll be able to put people in the back i said it i said the people want to see this this match and they said you'll be all right so we got there and there was a line around the thing 600 people went in like that and i think there was more like i think they said like close to six to a thousand people didn't get in right yeah absolutely i remember watching holy shit they were getting mad at me and i said i talked i talked to the other people they told me they told me that's all we did so i interesting that that's where that's where that's where it's first time yeah uh hasker martini's parents pay pay Peggy's Segal and her oldest is a teen in fact be great so yeah 100 percent that'd be great avant christian what is it about making a career in comedy that a lot of people find out the hard way that you have to work at it that you really

got to work at it and you got to understand especially when it's as far as standup comedy goes you know it's like people you got to it's it's a craft that you really have to put together and you got to work on it and it's just like you're forming things you're putting it together you're trying it out okay that didn't work it's like it's like it's like a machine that you're putting together and like let's try that oh that didn't work that way how about this and then you let it okay now it's running it's running it's running and then if i know i need a new one and you put another one out another one out and this is kind of work i remember when i was a kid watching the standard comedians going like wow i heard you heard that show they're doing that show again like yeah i go like the same different show every night i thought yeah it's true um let's see let's see so let's see everybody everybody loving uh martini yeah what is everybody's what was everybody's thoughts on martini yeah let me know what you guys think because i want to i'll read those out there too because like i wanted to mean it's exciting for me too that you guys get to meet or really really meet or this time around and it gets to see the idea and and now pill the you've read the script and Saul has read the script right so you can you can see the danian kelly 100%

right 100% that's just gonna be great um i'm i'm i'm pumped for it it's gonna be good um see how okay we always doing producing work PLD i mean now what i met him not for us right i won't do right yeah no not around the time we'll read it soon afterwards that's why i joined Ben and Andrew on the action industry is not too long after that but then uh yeah but i'm back over and join you guys Patrick over right hey christian long time viewer who's definitely supporting kickstart thank you Patrick seeing your work has been a big inspiration i'm also right in my own 30-minute comedy pile that's amazing do it and and do everything that you can to just push it forward uh creatively you know keep doing what you're doing you two Patrick thank you it's very very kind is this true star celebration tickets are listed for 1.5 per day that's not true that camp this is like a way no i mean they're sold out but i mean 1.5 damn oh yeah mike moodro what made you decide the PLD would be a great worker for you no one else was available no uh no he he uh he was he did a great job in this

roll down like we brought we brought him in to help p p j out and he did a great job and and i think i think he was like the first he was the first person i called outside it was it was it was just PLD and i when we started there was nobody there's no like Luke didn't come on until a little bit afterwards Luke helped out Luke was always kind of helping out with things but PLD was the first person on board to help me with patreon and everything too and um yeah yeah so he just he just he just he was he's very easy to work that's why i want to say was that spectacular was that that final spectacular are you kind of coming oh is that what was that where it was that makes sense you want to do that i was kind of yeah i'll do it oh that makes sense okay good uh yeah because i think i was kind of i was planning my escape route at that point uh joseph any comedy spots that will let you air the show what do you mean i don't know how many stores i don't know what you mean i said before we really got more um uh margitine personnel yeah that was kind of the that was kind of the hope right and and she still haven't seen it all yet obviously right there's so much there's so much more especially like there's just that opening scene when you first meet her

in the script that she's i just i can't pitch for anyone else doing it it's like she's just gonna be so and and then you'll see it more in the in the opening video that we do for kickstarter people will be excited when that comes out um james wheeler martin is so sweet and funny she really is true and she and she and she can be a painly ass too which i which i what i what i love about it this will seem like that i am you know uh so i'll appreciate that too actually solid vividly can see the comesy martini in the pilot oh yeah oh you're right because he's right yeah um how do you how did your approaches committee inform your approach to writing as well do you find the humor in situations that maybe we don't usually do you'll have to tell me when you when you guys see the show you know what i mean because like i have some things like i said like i know the the speaking of the scenario that i had in the script appeal to you red that said it just doesn't necessarily fit here funny but doesn't work here that's me putting a stand-up comedy joke that actually happened to me in the script and making it work for the character and

in that particular circumstance not that it won't work in the series but it didn't work there now the flip side is i told the joke back in the day that i could get away with back in 2004 that i mean maybe today you could get away with but you couldn't have gotten away within 2018 um and i brought that into the script and put that into what Danny said and it worked good because he would say that kind of shit regardless right um and it worked out so martini looks like a good person to who person the balance ideas often have fun yeah that's that's what's really been the the essence of it you know how's reacts to big balls does it all pretty much yeah 100 percent mic moodyrah can you you do know who you're dealing with with how they react to big balls 100 percent if they laugh initially that from seeing him and then hear what he says and they're still laughing you're good you know you're good uh mic moodyrah can you have martini to her trick

more often she was it i don't want to i don't want to ruin it i've never seen that before by the way stuck i had never seen her do that before and now i'm going to make her do that on in the show yeah uh so ak i don't know if you heard me just i address this before but i'll address it again now will the pilot be available for kickstart support is before it finds a home after it's 100 percent done yes 100 percent that that you guys will whether it's a vimeo link whether it's a DVD copy of it whether it's whatever it might be there will be if you back this thing and we never and we never sell it you will see it you will see it because otherwise why would you why would you support it right you know you will see it yes 100 percent um let's see another great episode so sound we've seen those with martini can't wait for our show to take flight thank you so much um so like the laugh act you mean like to air it maybe that's like a is like a i feel like that's like a comment sort of air the pilot i don't i mean like like like a like a like a screening or like a

screening or something i mean maybe maybe one a year or a once that was you we Jared Bennett in a similar vein to other projects like our show i just came across a little series done by the kids from the sand lot called dugout dad super fun and well written yeah i love that's that's what i'm saying we're living a different time now right where you have all these it as long as you can make the show now and if there's traction on it then let the streamers pick it up and everything too right there's still going to be let's not pretend that the streamers don't have the power to say look we want eyes on it now right but they don't have all the power anymore to say well we decide if it gets made right they don't they don't have the power anymore to say it's made if you pitch it to them and you're pitching it to them then want them to say yes or no then they have the power but if we're doing it this way and i'm telling you like you know if pildi can you imagine waking up to the fact that we do guild numbers then we're making a series man no but i'm not shooting for that i'm not telling people we're shooting but i'm just saying that this guy is the limit or what

is is possible you know yeah walker martini is absolutely fantastic she has great energy she's naturally funny and together you have great chemistry and she's low key hot low key i'm sure i love that don't put her that i won't center that i can't wait to see our show i think you know the difference is that this is just the gen x we're gen x low key doesn't mean in our heads what low what low will low key means to you're right because i only know that and walker's going to go you're a hundred percent right that's exactly what i'm saying i only know that because of my daughter i had come i was like really low key so that's not what it means that it just means this i'm like i i i stopped trying to forget what happened uh salt paul finding this role for himself is not surprising to anyone who knew him he was hustling when no one was looking he peeled these don't oh i mean you didn't even know he was talking and he cared when no one expected them to it's true yeah uh has cool during martini's live stream from her car was kind of hoping we see a cop walk up behind her car asking what she's doing they explain she's doing and promotes the pile to him yeah yeah absolutely how it'll last yeah totally will also have an uh midter not

midter not it'll be i'll be waiting for the stillbook 4k collectors edition when it comes out Christian physical media for the win i mean so cragg in full transparency cragg has been very adam about that and i agree that we we have to offer a physical copy of it and we we're going to we're going to uh mic muter martini's trick should be a clip i mean we probably should send nette kevin to to turn it into a thing but i don't know yeah i mean even if you do have a prospect of selling it aka already that you'll see it yeah if you back in it you're going to see it right you'll be able to see it we're gonna you know we'll probably ask people whether or not it's to sign something or whatever it might be that you can't share it or you can't do anything like that or that's why it can't be a link or but the physical copy you can't upload it and those types of things too we'll probably have to make for the physical copies we'll probably have to sign something that you agree not to like upload it but yeah i mean that's i i just feel like if you're putting money towards it you should see it and see what you what you did you know need two more followers to hit 2060 come on guys purely put the link in there um right now currently

no three more followers 2057 2057 so we need three more followers uh so let's do let's do it three more stand on fact the first words PLD ever said to me we're hey f you that's what i knew i was going along with them is that true let me say that is true uh i don't know what the question was it let's see i'm gonna keep going hold on soundly that's the show when talking about our show that's our show when talking about our show in addition to our show is trending and trending of course thank you soundly uh let me see if i can do that in soundly's voice now in addition to our show is trending as like 20 of course let's call let's see yes see you know i i i knew that i knew that yeah locate locate is very different than what we what we think it means um or old oh when you do flashbacks doing stand up thank you well yeah one of the so the actual scene that you know that we cut out was in was that the whole

scene at martina said it was expensive was was at the comming store yeah um okay he's one of he's one of us who uses uh where is it who uses locula literally yeah basically that's what it is yeah there's something never done yeah yeah yeah that's what that's exactly what it means uh genx don't get it that's that's one of the bits in the show too it's like trying to figure out what the hell they're fucking talking about i don't know i don't know what they're saying i need translate her yeah um okay let's it so deal the pick of low key means it's the thing without breaking about it being the thing you're right so it just it just replace with low key used to meet right right yeah yeah they're both of you and i are like she's not like that like but here's the thing if i sent that to her she would take it the way that you and i took it 100% right she's got her copy she's got it right i had to translate it yeah Scott element chemistry between you two is great nothing can replicate that it'll make our show much better and i think that's what it that really is what it's all about and i think you're gonna get that in the just in the video you know um

the red carpet see i use low key like sneaky hot right because they're same you're significantly younger than us uh aka darty if you make the pilot is there a possibility of a second kickstarter for an actual series i don't know the answer to that yet um because you know i i i want to see how because for me it's like okay let's see what kind of success we have from it first off right then let's see what happens when let's say that we we go for our goal we shatter the goal up top but we make enough as you were asking before okay let's say we make enough that we just make a really glossy good pilot with a great cast great dp we we made this like and like we basically got the budget that Netflix would give you or amazon or apple or peacock or whoever we got that kind of budget and that's what we did um well then you shoot it and you see how it goes over and then you see if you're gonna sell it or not but if and and let's say we go we're we're selling we do it

and we feel and everybody who saw like you aka as you asked earlier you see it you go this things great i love this can't wait for this to be a series everybody who sees it on the backers who see it like a great what's next what's next and everybody loves it but the studios and the streamers go we don't really know what to do with it then it's okay do we do something new do we do something else do we continue this do we try to do this moving forward or do we say we made a pilot i don't know the answer to that question yet i don't know but then the other side of it is i wake up in the morning after day one and we go holy shit we might be able to do two episodes of this we might be do four we're the seven or we do we're gonna do really glossy pilot let's cross that bridge when we get there but the problem's have great problems to have because you know we we could be in a situation where we wake up and we go we're almost there we're almost there we're almost there we just need we just to make the lowest version of this thing to make anything we just need this guys hopefully you support it i mean that's where before when they ask that question about how am i

feeling before we get close like that i get nervous on all sides of things i get excited thinking about oh what if we did this but then i then i go into the George Carthler but what if we're here you know and it's like i'm like so i i don't i don't that's why i get nervous did we beat roca this week i don't think so i don't think so i think roca had a really big donation she still can have a chance she still have a chance i what i mean is she's pretty is she's pretty as we saw her naturally but i know that once you want she can look spectacular i know exactly what you're saying yes i know you i know what you um i'm more of a high key type of guy i don't know what i mean uh can we get more big balls clips the first reactions with christian rich big balls and singing movie there is no bigger big balls fans than joseph ashtray because first of all he designed big balls but yeah let's see it's our fan for life now i don't i don't do that kind of stuff because i would because i've been i've been in a position where people are coming after me so i don't i don't know i don't know anything i'm not talking about it some now i'm i'm i'm concentrated on my my kickstart i'm sorry sound wave chronicles love that all of this is contributing to the hype

trading is going to be huge i'm also Vegas i'm betting on our show to succeed go big and go home i'm going to let money and blackjack and donate to both trending oh wait you didn't say that all right my choice uh tarry fan for life oh yeah all right run age when your name is an acronym you are just destined for great things terrible yes but great aha a little potter from the pot down here or not avant christian i hope your family and especially your daughters are super proud of you for for everything you've achieved so far it's very kind about to be a father myself and it's probably all i can think about it yeah and it's all you will it's like that's that ultimately is what it's all about right because my like i said and i mentioned inside the thing where people say like you know look i'm not going to lie to you when i was like in my mid 20s and this was happening i'd be like oh yeah and then i can do this level not i want to do this and then i want to do this and i don't have anybody else to think about i just thought about myself i can you know you know how it goes but they like yeah my thing is i want to tell this story and then i want to say okay we all benefited from it but what i can do now is i can breathe a little bit easier and not worry

about whether or not oh this is someone's a sponsor came back and did i'm like ah you know what i can do i can make sure my kids are comfortable i can make sure my wife is comfortable i can make sure that they supported me in the way that they did for as long as they did did did that i can do do you can do this now and i can say okay now i can do my podcast i can do this i can do that i can relax and that's really what i'm aiming for for this is just like anybody else you just trying to be kind of comfortable but i really want to tell this story um all right tarry for like christian has been doing the show for nearly three hours he he prepped for it i highly doubt he's been following what's going on yeah i just like i said i'm i'm i'm i mentioned this beforehand i am trying to 100 just focus all my energy for the next too much just on this and it's another reason why i don't do the shmode out anymore because i don't want i don't put i don't i don't keep up on everybody else it's not my responsibility to at all um yeah all right let's say i have nothing as long as you own the pilot you can shop it around for a few years of your time yeah it's true

we do i mean it's me it's me and ruin and martini you know well it's it's the three of us i love this thank you all i appreciate that at that rate kickstarter could act as a test screen and show people you're shopping off to that people respond to it yeah i mean that's this is why i keep trying to tell people so if you're watching this on the replay and if you haven't hit that button yet why it is so crucial to hit that button because if we get to we get to push right to the projects that we love page to kickstarter on day one and if we hit five thousand pre followers already i think that we can do it in just for in context the the guild had around ten thousand yeah um okay so screw face we're busy hi hi he is the opposite of the low kick i mean i i guess but i don't know what that means anymore screw face i have no idea anymore yeah i don't understand anymore at that rate thank you so much um my cat looked at the tv with that voice i'm telling you when she did that was crazy there's absolutely crazy no offense ten love the show okay no you're

you're all good thank you torrent so it really was pretty crazy okay oh are they talking are you talking about the sound weight voice i think i'm not talking about the sound weight part okay um a kpld you find those acting clips so you're it's only just like do you have acting clips i might i just a few so i was a theater major in college i got to show the acting clips and did you find my acting real because they told people to do to to so that's yours it's not didn't get a chance to really look yet but i also said you want to see my acting clips i got to be roca you know you today right i mean i guess i guess you would i guess that you would actually be you on the show today would constitute is beating roca because you were on yeah um this is true yeah both of five episodes five and seven did drop we we recorded episodes five and six and then i talked to pildi and i was like i kind of do seven i was like yeah you kind of do so we waited so we did that and we did shoot one and two on um on that's made a lorian season three and then she's coming in on twos day for us to do we're gonna try not to get as many because my my goal pld is to

get all of mandalorian out of the way and done before the kickstarted launches and then when we launch we launch with zaxx nighters justices league so people who maybe brand new people who've never found the channel before find us maybe find the kickstarter and want to you know help us out with the project and then we're gonna be doing x-men movies and other things so it'll be dc ee and x-men during the the kickstarter run so and i'm exporting the book of both that which is why i'm a little laggy here in there uh uh ron h uh oh my kids are able to see this kids i'm really just trying to get this cage person to watch a pilot i like didn't mean to get in so much trouble love y'all remember i'll gonna embarrass you all thank you ron we know it screw face i don't know what to say but i'm gonna donate because you read my last one thank you by the way invincible reactions are my favorite part of this channel now we have so much fun with those that that you know i'll tell you what i well if it wasn't for the fact that those peeps over at um demon slayer you know we hit the

copyright stuff and if winston was it in studio i would do so much more winston because i like watching stuff with him too but me and i just laugh our freaking asses off when we do stuff like those those those those those reactions are great um because we just you know they like i have to find a new way to get him with the screen every every everybody so good it's so good yeah uh okay let's say so i'm definitely watching that reaction there you go i watch all the reactions why they didn't thank you i'm wondering if there's any what he cuts these yeah i think what we're gonna there are and you know what i what i actually i was i was kind of contemplating after the fact i was like should i have done the boba fat cut but then i don't i don't know how much he cuts out of the those moments that happen in the mandalorian stuff and i i wanted her to see those as full episodes but i will be watching the paterson cut of the soka because we're not watching that whole series gonna watch the paterson cut of that as a movie um so that will be something we're

definitely gonna do for sure yeah um yeah this is this this is really i'm i'm laughing to see sam oh yeah well remember they she didn't have as much context because they just kind of show up in the episode she's watching we don't watch all of the boba fat we just watched those uh all right here's one for peel the question for peel deal oh we're gonna try to i'll give him this one we're gonna if if you want us keep us on any other questions about the show itself we'll stay stick around if not we're gonna we're gonna bounce but if you have any more questions about it anything else about i still want to know people's what were your what did you get here let me ask you guys this question i can highlight these questions too before we ask this so do you have a more a clearer idea about what the show is about when martini and i are talking about it do you understand the dynamic between the two of us do you see it more do you trust in the fact more so

that her and i are gonna do something together and make something because you know the we're even read it yet so you don't know oh yeah you can definitely pull this off i mean saw and and peel they can say that right now but that's what i'm curious i want to get like what you took out of the inner interview and i want to see this on discord i go through discord because i want to be more active in discord but and they're there's like there's like five or six comments in the pilot thread but like i want to see a bunch in there because i'll interact with that all day long because like i said i i give like a scoops of scoops in there sometimes too for for that one so if you haven't joined the discord or you do it but besides just the general tab please get involved in the pilot tab because the general tab to me gets a little overwhelming it's like so much there's just so much shit and they're like oh okay they're talking about this now and then i i just go to the pilot tab to see what's going on he will spill things folks he wants to spill things i want to tell everybody everything um all right let's see um no that's not it okay let's see i'm going to answer the star wars one of the yeah sorry question for pld what are your opinions in the current trajectory at Lucas from

disney or alma star wars in the route that you're taking with throttin rebels uh patience that's what i think philonia's taking over now i want to see how they develop things that once he's star fighter does have more interest in seeing ten eleven and twelve with that because that's going to really cement what philonia's plan is uh throttin rebels thrott's fine uh rebels is good eyes a big star with fan it's the star wars in this show if you watch the animated stuff which i did and i love the animated stuff i'm good with what they're doing but it's not exactly the most commercial thing for everybody else but that's okay so we have to have we have to have a commercial thing and have a niche thing and if they do that i'm happy with that plan yeah okay that's fair soundwave so i do it in a sound now i can't do it because this is a real question big picture talk could you ever see a feature length format for our show if you smash out six to seven seasons and there's demand for it never say never oh i see i see what you're saying i didn't initially read the thread but if you knock out the seven seasons and you're like oh my god it was so great you guys got to do a movie one more movie to follow up who knows right do you right never say never i think i

know exactly kind of where it goes where it ends um but you never know i mean things things could happen in general and uh it's possible yeah six seasons in a movie yeah skydeline you've mentioned not being a fan of doing virtual reaction but you still be doing brave heart will winston for the kickstarter do it let things or see do it i think we're gonna do something with winston i for the kick starter um i'm gonna be doing something with luke for his channel and he's gonna do something on on this channel um i've written we didn't realize for as much stuff that he reacts to he hasn't seen a lot of shit he's he's in he's also in a uh maybe he's a baby so uh joseph ashtray um are you playing any more action figures for suit nah i think those days are behind me did yeah martini is great she is she really is divan after that christian has writing partner on talking about the tv pilot they wrote and the kickstarter for it and what did i miss all right he i think what did you have him and asking about x-men oh oh yeah yeah yeah so he so do you have a notice that in so for the first 30 minutes i gave everybody um all the movie news stories and everything you just feel watch over if
