朱亥至雲夢山哭墓，孫臏感動決心幫助朱亥，此時師父得知破功，再賜三樣寶助孫臏避災。朱亥帶孫臏到魏國面見國王，要求未立功不領封賞，願以自己能力擺兵佈陣，論陣法品級封賞。郊場之中，魏國王侯將相到齊，觀看孫臏擺陣，龐涓使詐欲害孫臏，卻反被國王要求破陣，孫臏念同窗之情，用杏黃旗相救龐涓。
