隱居白鶴山的伍梅，見翠花救子心切，不忍拒絕，於是先救醒了中毒昏迷的世玉，後過府向李巴山賠罪認錯。不料，巴山趁著世玉叩頭賠罪之時，欲用推山掌將其打死，要不是伍梅出手阻攔，恐怕世玉頭頂開花，一場口舌之辯，李巴山與伍梅通人約定明日決戰梅花樁。翠花感激不盡，母子雙雙拜跪答謝，因此伍梅見世玉一身銅皮鐵骨，乃是練武奇才，便收為徒兒，翌日，伍梅與李巴山在梅花樁決鬥。眼見伍梅佔上風，李小環欲施放毒劍，卻被世玉用白鶴鐵杖將其打死，伍梅見狀便一拳將李巴山打落樁下，李亡，就此化解這場江湖風雲。
