高守元高中回家後，仍不見玉燕，兒子高心同坦白玉燕不時有回家探望，知道母親的下落，並自告奮勇帶著高守元去臥龍山尋找母親。 高守元到臥龍山知道是林貴枝救回玉燕還與其妻結拜，不究過往決心要幫林貴枝兄妹找回黃金洗刷冤屈，讓林貴枝兄妹重回朝廷。林貴枝受屈臥龍山成為忠義賊，使袁寶元欣賞，於是讓結義大哥高守元說媒，促成二人婚姻，結局圓滿和諧落幕。
