程咬金快馬加鞭趕至寒江關見梨花，假借丁山已回心轉意，要請梨花回唐營，二次拜堂。但其實，梨花乃驪山老母之徒，能移山倒海，潵豆成兵，早已卜卦算出丁山困在陣圖，自知謊言已被戳破的程咬金，只得苦苦央求梨花。梨花本就有心解救丁山，並請程咬金先行回營覆命，即拜別樊氏母女，上馬回至唐營。
梨花容裝打扮，拜別母親，帶了女兵往朱雀關前進，行至玉泉山時，突被山大王薛應龍帶領的眾山賊包圍比武，薛應龍哪裡是梨花的對手，梨花將應龍收為義子，應龍也將山寨全數人員投唐。
