About this episode
永昌心念客棧相遇的姑娘，但父親趙興回來後告訴永昌已有婚約，要永昌忘記自己所遇姑娘。趙夫人得知婚約對象是喑啞人士，便立刻阻止，一心希望永昌可以娶養女永貞，而永昌對永貞只有兄妹情不願娶永貞，最後在趙父執意下，要永昌履行當年婚約。
新婚之日，永昌不甘願地完成婚禮，獨留新房內傷心的新娘。秋桂自知新郎一定是被逼迫完成，也不敢有怨言，畢竟自己是有殘缺的人。看著新房門外人影走動，更是觸動心傷的痛苦。
