婚期臨近，表弟高文瑞聞聽傳言，藍家小姐十分醜陋，向姑母、表兄稟明此事，想一探虛實。高文瑞為協助表兄弄清真相，欲邀程金春帶著女兒，到李府沖喜。高文瑞來至藍府，程金春謊稱不在，躲在府中，命丫環-珍珠將高文瑞打發離開。
