The Calgary Wranglers crushed the Manitoba Move 7-2 on Friday night to kick off their throwback series. They wore special St. John Flames jerseys to mark the 25th anniversary of that team's call to cut win. The Wranglers dominated with six goals in the second period alone for a big victory. Before the game, the team shared injury updates. Rory Caron's remains week to week, while Lucas Cionaud joined the list day to day with a lower body issue. Martin Farck returned to the lineup, and there were swaps like Simon Mack, David Silly, and Carter Wilkie coming in. The game started with a fight just 14 seconds in between Alex Gallant and Tyrell Bauer, setting a physical tone. Manitoba scored first on a power play to lead one nothing after the opening period, but Calgary turned it around quick in the second. Rory Caron out-sincluded Idar Senniev with two goals, and named first star, Justin Kirkland,

with two goals for second star, and Card Bishop with a goal and assist as third star. Arsenea Sergeyev held strong in net for the win. Players called it a strong bounce back after a tough loss last weekend. The Wranglers wrapped the series Sunday at noon with the throwback jerseys back on.
