I cried out, heaven saved me But I'm down to one last breath And will it let me say? Let me say Hold me now And I'm six feet from the edge And I'm thinking Maybe six feet Ain't so far down Hold me now And I'm six feet from the edge And I'm thinking Maybe six feet Ain't so far down I'm so far down It is the WIP afternoon show With Ike Spike and Fritz So I mentioned the Easter Bunny picture And then of course I got a bunch of people following me on Instagram

I know why you're doing that Because you were looking for the Easter Bunny picture It was not on my Instagram So it was on there Well it was just that there were like 10 followers As soon as we said it And I know you're looking for the Easter Bunny It's not there, it was on there It was on there Instagram But I put it there So I feel like they earned it So before we get to the YouTube AMA and Jordan and all that stuff The thing I wanted to ask you about Related to the Eagles at least slightly Was that it came out today That Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence Has requested a trade He is not going to go to the minicamps for the Giants He is a Giants defensive tackle, great player And they had been working on a contract I guess they didn't, you know I guess they have not come to an agreement Would you feel more comfortable paying Dexter Lawrence than Jaylen Carter Because I would I would

He's a little older He's probably two years older, three years older He's been like six years Yeah, I know what you're saying And Dexter Lawrence is a sexy Dexter He's a great player A great player And Rush is the quarterback from the tackle position Has been a very stable player He's been a top five defensive tackle in the league Since he's been a league almost Yeah, yeah I think I was still going with Jaylen Really? Yeah, I think Jay-A, Jordan Yeah, the age is certainly there And he might be slightly a better player Now obviously I watch Jaylen more often than I do Dexter Lawrence Dexter Lawrence is 28, by the way Yeah Yeah, I think Jaylen's Dexter Lawrence has reached his selling of who he is I think there's still more there in Jaylen Carter So if the giants called you and said straight up Give us Jaylen Carter, you can have Dexter Lawrence You would not do it No, I wouldn't do it Okay Yeah All right, it's not like a no-way in hell I wouldn't do it Right, right

This is more or less It's probably because I'm more familiar with Jaylen Carter Right And he's an eagle So I wouldn't lean more there But Dexter Lawrence is a very good player I got no problems with it I wish I mean We can't add into the roster We got three already paying one defensive tackle 27 million We can't pay three defensive tackle So I wonder what is going on there You've had that end up in Dallas Well he, if you're the giants How are you just not paying him? I know he's probably And I'm sure the eagle screwed up the defensive tackle market With that Jordan Davis contract I imagine anyone who had a defensive tackle that they had a pay We're looking at their phones and being like Okay Jordan Davis has had like two sacks in this entire career Dexter Lawrence had nine sacks last year You know, what are you with? How are you doing? Yeah Reset the market Yes, seriously Seriously, if Jordan Davis is worth 27 million a year Dexter Lawrence said Dexter Lawrence is worth 40 Yeah, he said hold on

Yes And I saw also Maybe we'll do this tomorrow But Bill Barnwell for ESPN did a trade for every first round pick For it in the first round And yet the eagles involved in three or four of them So I'll throw those at you tomorrow All right Jack, why don't we do one or two of the YouTube questions Because I said we would do it And we can go to Gary and we can go to Jordan All right, what do we got? So our phones have been down I just got a report from our chief engineer Dave Scalish Who seems to be confident they will find a solution Nice But I wanted to give a Thank you to Dave Scalish Who has been here You know obviously as long as I've been here It's a great engineer, it's time I was going to say tireless He definitely gets tired So he's not tireless But he works very hard He's doing a, he's doing a word He said thanks for, you know Thanks for doing that in there He said to me And I said well number one And don't have a choice With you know But number two My job is easy compared to his job

So thank you Dave Scalish Called David 930 of them Because my home comrades wasn't working And he helped you And he helped me Okay I like that I called him Scales too I don't know if we ever called him Scales No, I don't think that's his name That's just me A true, true Delcosman Yeah as well Dave Scalish Like Swanker No I've heard you call him Swanker I've never heard you call Dave Scalish Yeah I just started today Yeah I just wanted to say I like Scales, he's Scales Swank's been Swanker for a very long time A long time From a Zempick Matt Rule on YouTube Okay I know Zempick Matt Rule Okay What do you think Herb does When he wakes up in the morning Ooh Was wacky that thing Not right away Not right away So after the bathroom Because I imagine Yeah I imagine there's Because we've heard what Herb eats That first one of the day is I mean He's probably in there for 20 or 25 minutes What time do you think he wakes up When he doesn't have to pick the flyers up at 5am or whatever

Hmm feels like a 7th, 15th, 7th, 30th kind of guy I think he just watches TV Eat something unhealthy And sits on the toilet for 35 minutes Yeah, yeah That sounds good But I feel like his morning It actually sounds like my Saturday I kind of envision Is morning number one takes like a minute A minute? Yeah, like he's on the But it's a lot in a minute Yeah Okay, like a horse He biscuit You know what I mean The fangirl Yeah, like he's you know He's in there for a while Yeah, he's in number one Yeah, he's in number one Oh, he's in number one Yeah, yeah, yeah Oh, the number one takes him there Yeah, I could take a long time I could take a long time Yeah, he drinks a lot of fluids He does, yes, yes So he probably lives in an apartment Yes, yeah He could be in a room home He's in the northeast Definitely, he could be in a room A lot of rooms in the northeast Yeah Before like an apartment I don't know, I'm trying to think of a room Yeah, what does he need with three bedrooms? Exactly I'm trying to envision what a Herb apartment looks like Disgusting

Definitely a recliner He sleeps in the recliner most days Yeah, he's got the TV dinner tray here Yeah, what's he going to say? He probably doesn't do any dishes Dishes, everything is disposable Yeah, yeah Look, or he just eats out You know, like he'll go to a Yeah, dispose Yeah, he's throwing all his paper plates Yeah, see that Come on Do you think he eats most meals Off of a paper plate at home? Do you think he has a TV tray Like a four-year-old? I could see it Yeah, yeah Good that, I might say it All right, the He just got back on his good side He's going to be ticked off for once Well, he did it Well, he did the whole Oh, guess what I know If he's going to do that, then I'm going to And I do still think we need to send Tucker to wherever he lives Yes And a day in a life like Herb cribs Yes That's the reason Max and Tucker just so we they have back up I think they'd be fine Okay, I think they'd be fine Okay All right, from JDE894 Spike, do you have any burner accounts on Twitter? I do not Yeah Yeah You can look at my computer No burner accounts I don't need, what do I need a burner account? I know

I would like to argue with people Yeah, no Unfortunately, I do that myself Have you even been Talked to by I'm sure Yeah, I'm sure I mean, one burner account that Defend Gabe Kapler When he was the manager Real Yeah What was the name of the burner account? I don't know I think it was a Kapler explained Oh, wow Yeah Okay, so you didn't act like you were a normal person You acted like a psychopath that defended Gabe Kapler I didn't want to do it on my own account Okay But I was back in my younger days No, no burner, Ike Burner for you? No No shot I wouldn't even yeah I would screw it up anyway You figure it out, you find out I'd be tweaking stuff out of the wrong account That's the imbeb gift I know who that is He's eating the apple One nothing good guys I know I know that's put her account from anywhere It's by the way The fillings are stolen, my good guys win thing Oh, oh, yeah, they started doing it They started doing it, yeah No problem, I'm part of the family

What? The last one from Kevin Newell And this is a spike question Because I never listened to it But he's asking if Cowboy Jim sounds like Ralph Serella From the old Stern Show And OG Wade is into a Riley Martin territory I don't know what any of that stuff means Because I'm not a Stern guy So does he sound like Ralph May Ralph rest in peace So Ralph was a friend of Howard's But also was Howard's stylist So he would pick out his clothes and stuff Does he sound like Ralph? A little bit, I think a little bit He's a little dead No Howard Stern Howard Stern, yes Yeah, because I call my dad Howard Yes, I don't call him that to his face Of course, but on the air So we did the old daddy bit for him Yeah, Cowboy Jim sounds a little bit like Ralph Serella I would say so Yeah And I don't know the other So I haven't listened to very much Stern Since Sirius XM So the other reference he made, I don't know No, I don't know All right, you want to talk about Xfinity real quick

Don't you have that here? Oh no, National Plants Warehouse Yeah, our people Oh, yeah, come on Jack I actually think I'm going to have to go over there For the washer dryer It was the ones that were in there when we bought the house Yeah But the dryer door doesn't close all the way And when I wash my black t-shirts There's always like stuff on the t-shirts Oh, I think I need, I think I got to go over there It's about time Yeah, it's about time So you can get down to National Plants Warehouse Taxi Delaware Taxi Delaware Wash a dryer Yes Obviously they have all your kitchen appliances Even outdoor kitchen appliances What? And it's always down front sent you Jordan and Princeton You're on WIP What's up, Jordan? Am I? Yeah You're on Okay, I was unsure It seems like Rob Lincoln or Rob Lake Or whatever his name has forgot to pay the phone bill over there No, it's not Lincoln's fault. I would love to blame him. It's not his fault So, I do still fall the morning show occasionally But I want to be clear and declare my intentions now To earn a high fee to the caller of the year competition for next year And I can't say that I intend to win But I intend to make a much stronger showing With a full year of calls behind me for next year And I don't like to lose at things either So, I'm really going to dedicate myself to this What I'm trying to do is Figure out a stick You know, each caller kind of has a stick And I'm kind of finding my lane Because when you call the morning show You don't even have time to develop a stick You say something Joe the camera says some odd non-sequator They go off on a tangent for five minutes And then they ask you for the answer to the question And he ditches your call It's not fun. It doesn't feel involved

And I like to involve myself in WIP I mean, even this morning Talking about the flyers He comes with some nonsense to that How, oh, what if the 22 fillies won the World Series I actually have people texting me Joe the camera talking about Talking about who's banking it in the morning It's like four hours to go to the camera Banking it to his own world times on the morning show That is He was talking about If the 22 fillies won the World Series in reference to the flyers Was that the connection? Yeah, it just was oddly out of contact I'm talking about how big a win it was for the flyers And how it's nice to see something positive happen And Philadelphia sports and I think what it comes down to It was a lot of his radio personality Is because he's generally a miserable guy I mean, you have to be a miserable guy If you win a friendly sporting competition And you just can't let it go Are you sleeping with that cup? He's injected his girlfriend from the bed He puts his arm around that 22 dollar plastic cup with a little WIP sign on it And he pets it as he goes to bed every night

And makes him feel better But I don't want to talk about Joe the camera He gets enough love on this station You just talked about for the You're not going to get the color of the year spending your first 90 seconds talking about Joe What if I'm talking crap about him? Well, it's not bad, it's not bad All right, what do you got beyond that? You know, I made a Sunday a last minute decision to go see the flyers game And talk about decisions that really work out in your favor It's kind of a miserable day You pick the kid up, you get in the car, you drive down to the stadium I felt like I witnessed a bit of flyers history Because I have a lot of hope for this team I think the teams got hard I think they've managed to assemble a good squad of players But to watch a 19 year old guy scores first NHL goal An over kind game winning goal I want that to be a moment that represents the start of this new era of the Philadelphia flyers I really hope that it will be I hope so too, it's funny like, well, it's not funny

I've determined, I don't like when people say things are funny When they're not actually funny That goal, it's really what happens after that determines how what that goal means That goal could end up meaning something really, really big But whether it's this season or his career, both those things We could look back on this If they went around in the playoffs That goal ends up being, imagine the start to his career Being a goal like that I hope so, I hope it ends up Or if he ends up being an all-time flyer or something like that You get to say that you saw that goal in a big, man He was hunting that goal the first few games We're quick on his first goal Are we in agreement? He gave a goal, he gave a puck to a young lady At the glass Going for a coupe I wonder was that, no, no, she was, I mean, a real young lady She had to be like, seven or eight years old Okay, here he goes She had again, no, no, no, no, no

That's not a funny bit, I don't like that You know, it's funny, it's the stop Hold on real quick, I just want to know Because I saw it both ways That wasn't the actual puck that he scored I don't know So he just gave her a puck He just gave her a puck He want to keep your first puck But then I was like, I was pretty cool He gave away his first puck and he scored Yeah, maybe that's what Spartans do They're givers Yeah, they're givers I want to get away my first Devorak, he went in there He's a smart guy, a guy's got good teammate IQ He went in there, he grabbed the puck And then he went and he celebrated with everybody But I mean, I agree It could go down as a nothing moment in history His first goal Or if we actually make a little bit of a playoff run It's going to be a moment that people will remember forever And you know, the youth movement I didn't think it was coming to Philadelphia But you know, here we are We're resigning baseball players with A or E cards At the end of their contract But then on the other end, we got Marton

We got Andrew And it does give you a little something to look forward to And you know, because no day is complete Without laughing at the mess I don't want Soto getting injured I hate cheering injured That's bad mojo Big mojo No Bad mojo Bad mojo The Mets are writing the worst contracts in the history of baseball Uncle Steve's, get his casino in Queens That's all he wanted the whole time He's not really a Mets fan The guy is an investor He just wants to build a casino But $700 million on Juan Soto I'm so glad that that's not on To fill it off your fillies Oh yeah, be terrible That's a great turner left at 30 million Yeah, I was going to say I was going to say I was wanting an extension And I think Taiwan Walker is going to be on the team At the time that I retire It just feels like some of these contractors go on forever But the youth movement is back in Philadelphia And I'm here for it

All right, great call Jordan. There he is Jordan and Princeton announcing his candidacy For the 2027 caller of the year Doesn't like to lose He does not. The text line You're entitled to stick Your whole bit is a stick You know, you're the fast-talking Jordan from Princeton The text line is brought to you by Benari Jewelers Don't settle for ordinary Choose extra ordinary Choose Benari Jewelers at Extin and Newtown Square Online at Benari Jewelers.com Text line Text line Text line G-W-I-P hosts Realizing they have to learn about the hockey team That's real That panic came for me about a week ago though So I started I think I can name the top three lines now Hell yeah Do you really have it on your phone and your notes out? No, okay I do not I was surprised me

No, I do not I'm going to start World War III Spike, whenever there's a minor technical issue on the show It's just the phones Now that was written early Before it really did turn into a truly awful thing Yes, right So that's all coming I take that one back It was the phones not work And then the crackle I knew a two-eighth team Really good though It was going to be a day Really A board A board It's just time for God Who the Flyers play Seriously, man They have four game slides I don't know Yeah, who could possibly play He thought I'm locked in on one game at a time Yeah good, good, good, good pivot I guess the most simple question of all time So what does their playoff chances look like Like oh that would play But this slice it and the dice it and the Two ads on the skate

And you did the D-zone in the zone, whenever he gets back to the corner he starts to, he tickles him to twine. Yeah. What's that? 250 by the end of the month? Well, at least he got to where it wants. The guy who made the not elite shirt who somehow found Bryce's address and just randomly sent it to him. Yeah, French is over there talking about 250 by the end of the month. Oh, that's the end of the party. Oh, 250. And rising. Okay. 250 by the end of the month. You know this month just started, right? Yeah. It's like 20 games. There's a lot of baseball in there. And he'll be a 250 by the end of the month. And rising. Yeah, he is. He's sitting in the barn. He's sitting there. What do you say? He's getting three 50. He's getting three 50. He's getting three 50. He's getting three 50. What do you say? He's getting three 50. He's getting three 50. What do you create? He can't take it down. He's on balance though. He's on five hits to home. So I looked this weekend. You guys are like, oh 30 home runs. He said 30 home runs four times. Yeah. In 16 years. He would have 30 last year. Well, he didn't.

He felt like he had 30. OK, what's next? No, it felt like he had 22. Are we even on the air? The first thing I say is when something goes technically wrong on the show. Every time he does jump to are we on the air? I don't know, even on the air. It's so funny. Oh, why I do that. Yes. Oh, fine. I mean, are we going to even on the air right now? Oh, my God drops. Are we even? Do we have to go home now? What's that? I'm just kidding. What's that? I am the bandwagon. I invented the flyers. The essence of Ken and Cinnamonson's cold today. It was. You know, I was at the parade. And were you there? And seriously, I was shocked by that. Well, I guess like 19, probably what? 1964, 1965 when he was born. Yeah. I thought he was in his 40s, his late 40s. Oh, really? No. He's ancient. Yeah, Ken's old as hell. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I could not imagine just sending my kids by themselves on a bus and then just standing there all day. Yeah.

Had a parade with millions of people in the city. Yeah. That's a different time, yeah. Yeah. That's a different time. Although, listen. His Tigers were a thing too for me. Yes. Yeah, you don't really see his Tigers anymore. Yeah. My dad still tries. Oh, you told me that. You mean, picking up his Tigers? No, I like trying to see if he can, you know, get picked up. He didn't feel like calling to you if we're back from the car dealer one day. I never heard of this. Yeah. It's so good, isn't it? Your dad was trying to hold it. This is like a year ago. A year ago. Yeah, it was like a year ago. He's like, I'm a, he's a guy. I got, I said, what do you mean he got picked up? Is somebody picked him up? Yeah. Yeah. A nice conversation. I know. I know. I love to text that. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. It's a good thing he wasn't an ax murderer. Yeah. Yeah. He's busy. Clearly busy. Look, if it's an ax murderer, it's a great story. What's next? Yeah. I have those with the other sixers anymore. No, I, I'm hoping my young sixers atom becomes a, like a, uh, uh, uh, get the insights.

True finder. Yeah. Now and then find the truth. He's, he's gotten, like, I think he's the best beat writer there is now. He's gotten much better. But now I need him to get those inner stories. What is this? Adam Aronson. Used to work for the Ricky Sixers atom. He works for Philly Voice now. I don't want to say you, I mean, when you say you think he's the best beat writer. No, I actually do. I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know, but this is your connected to him. Well, but I actually just think he's the best one of all. Yes. Sixers beat writer. Sixers beat writer. Yeah. Oh, I thought you meant every. No, no, no, no. Sixers beat writer. I think it's the best sixers beat. I thought you meant everybody. No, no, no, no, no. I bet sixers beat. He's got to tone down the young journalist snark factor that he has. He does have a little bit. Yeah. We don't need that. It must just be a trade of every big J. Journal. Yeah. They have that little snark. Wow. And they're smarter than everyone. He's getting confident. He's also a big baseball guy, but he is a red socks fan. Or no, he's a Patriots fan. I'm sure he's a Philly's fan. He's a big Patriots fan.

Yeah. What's that? I'm glad we're discussing this on the end. Yeah. Yeah. What's that? These guys are so soft. No phones. We would have fired up the facts machines. And what a Marconi. The old guard at WIP. Yeah. What are you going to do about firing up the vagimacy? Yeah. What's next? I pray every day that the phones die. Joe DeKemro always wanting more Joe DeKemro. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Next line. Did they have fun when he shows this morning? They did not. Oh, we've write it to a guy. Yeah, they have the new show is sabotage. Yeah, they said, let's ruin their program. So there's no Fritz at 6. Are you doing, you don't have to do a final after night. Is there Fritz at 6? No. Well, not Monday. A teaks is like, you don't go as long as you are. Who do you have in the booth? Fran. Real host. Fran. Ooh, he. Yeah, we feel bad for you, bro. Not, I mean, Fran's a good producer, but as far as other host guy,

like Donald Goed on, he'll be like, at least Buzz will ramble on us. Yeah, just get Buzz on the phone. Yeah, just have Buzz explaining some umpiring decisions. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, maybe get some texts in there for teaks. They can riff on. Sure. The text line's working. Yeah, there you go. 215592949 for the same number you call. Yeah, you can tweet at, is he at Tom Kelly. 4044. No, that's high school football number. Yeah. That's how tall he is. No, it's four. This is high. Sorry, it was just there. It was there. Yeah, a lot of sports on tonight, fellas. Yeah. I can't wait, man. State side. Let's go. Yeah. I mean, that stays out. Well, both. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. State side vodka in the surf side. Bad night to be like a fan to look out. There you go. Yeah. I got some money to buy. Yeah. We got fills in 945. We got sixers at eight. Fills in 945. And a championship game at night. The nadi.

Yeah. I will not watch one second of the nadi. But I will watch fills and I will watch sixers. One shining moment at the end. Yeah. I like one shining moment of Hughes. Yeah. That was better. Oh, and what's he won? I don't know. Oh, I don't know either. It was dynamite. Yeah. All right. TK is next. We'll be back with you tomorrow. Send text. TK tweeted him. Thank you for listening.
