The mixed breed pup bolted from near Old Upon Road and Mariah Road last Friday, April 17th, around 6 p.m. and got spotted Wednesday evening. In a wooded spot off Stafford Avenue, a kind passer by walking his own dog saw Winston first, then his son stepped in to bring the tire guy back to Roy Porter's family. No collar on at the time, and since they were new to the area, folks figured he was just spooked and wandering into Bristol too. The Porter's called Winston sweet, but scared during the whole search, and the community rallied with alerts starting Saturday morning. Pure relief all around when he showed up unheard, just wiped out from the adventure. This marched the third happy ending for lost dogs in the region lately.
