Windsor Men Charged in Janice Cook's Murder

0:002 men from Windsor, Missouri are locked up after cops found a body they believe is Janice Cook, a woman reported missing back on April 9th. 70-year-old Billy Taver and 39-year-old Cody Isle faced serious charges in this case out of Henry County. Janice's friends and family hadn't heard from her since March 28th when her social media posts just stopped cold, something she did every. Day, her last phone ping was in the Windsor area, including a call to Taver's number around midnight. A witness told investigators he showed up at Taver's place around 2 a.m. that same night and saw Janice on the ground, what he thought was already. Dead, he claims Taver dragged her body down to a spot near water with a Honda CR-V and they buried her wrapped in black fabric. Cadaver dogs hit on the same area twice during a search on April 30th into May 1st, picking up that tell-tale decomposition smell. That's when they pulled the body from Taver's property family's been notified, but forensics are still confirming it's her. Taver's hit with first-degree murder, ditching a corpse and patronizing prostitution.
