The Minnesota Wild wrapped up their home back-to-back with a three-to-two loss

to the Toronto May Beliefs on Sunday, March 15. Despite a heavy snowstorm delaying the visitors,

the game went ahead as planned. Jesper Wallstedt returned to the net for the wild,

while Jeff Petri made his debut on defense, sitting veteran Zach Bogosian.

The Wild fell into their recent pattern of slow-starts,

trailing early for the third straight game. They've struggled to match opponents early energy,

often digging out of multi-goal holes. While back-to-backs can explain some fatigue,

the team knows they need that jump from puttrop to reclaim wins.

Vladimir Tarasenko stole the show with two quick goals in the third period,

pulling the Wild within one after being down three-nothing. His first came off a perfect pass,

and the second was his classic sniper shot just over 20 seconds later.

The burst fired up the crowd and bench, nearly leading to a hat trick.

The Wild outshot Toronto 38-26 and generated plenty of chances, facing strong goal-tending as usual.

They kept the pressure on after scoring, showing better flow than in recent outings, but couldn't

quite tie it. Looking ahead, the Wild hit the road Tuesday, March 17 against the Chicago Black Hawks,

harnessing that late-game fire from the start could snap their skid and grab crucial points.
