Wild Falls in OT, Boldy & Kaprizov Shine

The Minnesota Wild faced the Philadelphia Flyers at home on Thursday, March 12, during their ongoing homestand. Coming off a shutout win against the Utah Mammoth earlier that week on March 10, the Wild started strong but fell short in overtime and a shootout, with the Flyers claiming victory on their final shooter. The Flyers grabbed an early lead late in the first period, but the Wild rallied in the second with two quick goals to take control heading into the third. They couldn't hold on though, as Philadelphia tied it up with a short-handed goal, sending the game extra time. Standout performances came from Matt Bowdie and Kirill Kaprizov, who scored back-to-back goals just like in their previous win. Bowdie's tally marked his 37th goal and pushed his season points to a career high 74, boosting the team's power play along the way.
