Wild Acquire Brink, Flyers Get Jiricek

The Minnesota Wild just made a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers, picking up right-winger Bobby Brink in exchange for defenseman David Jerosek. Brink is a 24-year-old playmaker who adds scoring depth to the Wild's middle six as they gear up for the playoffs. This season, he has 13 goals and 13 assists in 55 games, and over his career, he has 36 goals and 94 points in, 2-0-1 games. Meanwhile, the Flyers get Jerosek a 22-year-old, right-shot defenseman drafted sixth overall in 2022. He has struggled this year with no points in 25 NHL games and just 10 points in the minors, showing promise and puck skills but issues with, skating and defense.
