Hey, everybody. Welcome back to signals news podcast. I am here with Holly Tafoya and you are I would say the man the myth of legend. You are the woman behind Linquist garage doors doing some great things over there. I was flipping through your reviews. Slant sky to get to be true. Yeah, no, it's true. It's true. I thought the same thing when I saw the reviews, but now working with him. I definitely see it. Yeah, he's so how long have you guys been open? He started the business early 2023 and he just he had been working for another local company and said, I think I could do this better and I could be more honest. And so he did it. Well, I think a lot of times when you're the employee, you kind of see like, man, they didn't need a new garage door. We could have just done this or, you know, checking on repairs and stuff, which, you know, everyone thinks they can fix stuff. Right. So all the garage doors and working. Let me get in there and check that out.

Not a good idea. Don't do that. No, don't do that. Not the springs. It's it's dangerous. It doesn't look like it, but it is. I've there have been guys that have gotten hurt. Leave the technicians. I'm talking about themselves because they use, you know, these steel winding bars to tighten those. It one slips and it's boom. It's going to get you. I saw a lady she was in here. If you last week doing a podcast and she had six of her fingers got under the garage door. And they were trying to get it back into place and she was trying to hold it up in it. Oh, she was trying to carry the way to the door. Even with the springs, like if you're if the spring breaks on your garage door, you shouldn't try and do anything with it because the cables can come off and those cables are steel wire cables. You can't you can't mess with that. You need a professional for it. So it's funny. Garage doors has been coming up a lot lately with a few of our podcasts. We had a couple of different realtors that we're saying, you know, when you're getting ready to sell a home, there's certain things that you should probably do that aren't huge investments in the property.

But make a tremendous difference in the ROI. Like when you're getting ready to sell garage doors was one of them. Have you heard that before? Absolutely. Yeah. The ROI on garage doors is up over 200% most of the time. And I mean, when you're selling your house, that's huge. Most people use their garage door as a front door. That door gets a ton of use. So as much as you want your front door to look nice and you hang a wreath on it, your garage door is even bigger and it gets more use. It's true. It makes such a difference in the house. What are some of the cool like I'm looking you guys have glass window garage doors. Wood garage doors. What are some cool stuff that you guys are putting out there right now. So they just came out with the Avanti series, which is when you see the full glass panel doors. They have they're they're getting smarter. They're going with technology and it's push button or do with your phone where they go from completely clear to a frosted.

They have ones that look like they have shutters on them. And it's all just new tech stuff. I mean cameras and it can link up with your Alexa and your Google. Everything I still have an old garage door that a garage door opener that like the rubber piece you're supposed to push is like worn off. And I'm always like, well, garage door seems to be running fine. But they don't even make that model of garage door anymore because I've tried to get like a smart like just get something to, you know, hey Siri, shut off my you know garage. No, so I could call Lance and he could figure that out for me without having to replace the whole door. Definitely. Yeah, you can get them the my cue attachment. Okay. And he but he's obviously going to look at my garage door and go, Alicia, your house is 20 years old. It might be time for to upgrade. No, if your garage door is working fine, he's not going to do that. He will probably say that you need to have it serviced probably because I have not done that either. How often should we be servicing every six months? Every six months. Are you serious? I'm so serious. I'm like 22 services behind. Wow. You know what's going to happen? I'm going to end up getting stuck in my garage one day.

Yeah, your spring's going to break or yeah, you're capable. So come on. But we have a we have a coupon and money in the mail for $59.95 and we'll come over and do a lube and tune there are no hidden fees. There's not a trip charge. It's $59.95. Can I call him without the coupon because I just toss those right now? Yes, you can you call without the coupon. Just say you want the $59.95 lube and tune will come out and he'll just come up 60 bucks and you guys are going to upgrade or not upgrade but service my absolutely. He'll check tension on the spring. He says nothing. Well, I would have to pay an Uber to come out and pick me up to take me to work so that I could because you know, I'm going to get stuck in there. Yeah, I'm looking at all your pictures. You guys do really pretty work really nice work. So if somebody wants to get a hold of you guys and take advantage of that $59.95, how do they get a hold of you? They can call us at 98 713 5772 or they can go to our website at linquistgaragedoor.com and check out the pictures while you're there and they also cover all the service if they do. How far do you go?

Is it just Preska Valley Prescott? No, so we do all of you have a Pi County, all of Coconino County. All the way up to Flagstaff. Oh, yeah, we're in Flag Williams happy Jack all of it. We do all of it. Let's goes everywhere. He does and there's never a trip charge. Crazy, crazy, crazy. He's got to be making everybody in the industry mad because he's taking care of people and he is doing a great job. He does do a really great job. I get a lot of phone calls from the older retired community and you know their spouses passed away and they say oh such and such a company came and they said it was going to be $1800 and I needed all this stuff but he did it for 150 or you know he did it for 180 and said I didn't need that stuff and just thank you. He's gotten cards in the mail for thank yous and he's I'm calling him I need to I'm telling him 22 visits past you so and if those springs break it's it's not fun and don't ever try and lift the door.

I had a customer last month. I will never forget this man never. He says he knew he you know kind of knew a little bit about garage doors. He says hey my spring broke and I said oh do you know do you have a vehicle or anything trapped inside so I could know how soon I needed to get someone out. He's well know I've got four cars and nothing trapped inside it's okay but I wanted to know can I lift my garage door with my loader. I was like with your with your loader. No don't don't do that. I said you're going to damage a garage door more but he was very serious. Lance said when he got there. He's having like the driveway. Yeah it was it was ready to go. He's like step away from the loader so yeah he's like don't don't do it don't do it. So crazy. Well we will definitely utilize that $60 coupon because come on you crazy and that's silly not too. I didn't who knew every six months I had no idea. So 928 713 5772 check them out on linkquistgrudgedoor.com talk to Holly talk to Lance just talk to somebody.

Get your garage door service to get a new one if you need it. Thank you guys. Thank you guys for all you do and thanks for taking care of some of our elderly population as well because I think sometimes people try to take advantage of people so it's so good that you guys you know honesty first. So appreciate everything you guys do and we will see you guys next time. Thank you. You're welcome. You
