Alright folks, he's shy fly sure here. I'm with my man, Shiloh! He just made Aliya immigrated to the land of Israel and he was excited to see me, but I'm excited to see him because he's coming back to the good land. Look behind me right now. This is an event for Anglo immigrants to the land of Israel and especially to Gushension, Judea, right next to Bethlehem and the beautiful town of Ephra'at. And today we're having a little event recognizing the new immigrants of just this year. Not a last year, nor the year before and we have about 40% anglos immigrants from the great country of America coming to the land of Israel going up. Even from America, he's still going up to the holy land of Israel. Shiloh, tell me a little bit about yourself. What are you doing here? And why are we so excited to see me? What's the deal with that? Yeah, so I've been watching your stuff, you say for a while and it's pretty awesome. So I just some of the most exciting things for me to look forward to were to meet people
who are advocating for Aliya to bring the Jews back and I know that Tishai's heart is your heart and soul. A couple other guys shout out I'm a call wife broad you've been very inspirational and I came for the goola but I'm staying for the people. It's been amazing so far. Did you practice that line? Is that like a, is that like a, that sounded like a like a Neil Armstrong type thing? Like I came for the goola. I'm staying for the people, is that right? I thought of it while you were talking because I wanted to say when we arrived, okay? On our door were pictures from all the kids in our building and in our neighborhood saying welcome, people showed up and helped us with our 15 suitcases into our apartment, showed up with cookies but also realized their kids were tantruming and they were like, hey take this we're going to bounce my name's Yoni. If you need anything I'm upstairs. Six families came and this was 10, 30, 11 o'clock at night. We couldn't have asked for a warm or welcome. We're loving it. Unbelievable dude that's such a great story and you know listen the first year is hard. You're dealing with like laundry machine issues and and setting a bank account
issues and in Israeli banks they make you sign like a thousand pieces of paper. They're like you're like initial here, initial here, initial here and you have no idea what you're doing and there's a lot of tricky stuff but you're feeling the warmth here in what we call soft landing which is the idea that you know the the people that came before you they don't look down on you. They actually throw out a life raft and a rope and say a ladder and come say come up to the good land and that's such a scook, a merit for us to help one another. Tell me about the situation in America where you came from. Yeah we came from Stony Point near Muncie we had a nice house 4,000 square feet over half an acre property. We moved to an apartment the size of my basement and I'm honestly we're happier. We loved it. We appreciate every inch of it. We have a little garden and it's incredible and I don't miss the extra space and the more privacy and the bigger house and the kitchen we put in last year. It's fine. Can I tell you something Shiloh? Yes. It's actually really
okay to miss that stuff. I like to explain to you what I mean. When you miss that stuff and you're like the things that you just denumerated and you just say but I gave it up because that's my Corbun that's my sacrifice and it's not like I don't care about that stuff. I enjoy the material comforts. I'm a human being and I gave it up for God. I gave it up for the redemption. Yeah. There are things I gave up. I'm a personal trainer had a thriving business in Muncie. Thank God my wife has a great job. She does marketing for a law firm. We're starting from scratch. She can't do that. She can't do that marketing for me. She doesn't person marketing. So yeah so we're going to like we're here to figure it out. You know we put aside some savings but there are things that were harder and things that were easier to leave for me. For other people it's definitely going to take more of an adjustment and for us definitely a great landing place for the right people. If it's your fit I recommend it. It's amazing. You're here five days broke. I'm here five days and already because some people have told me they got here and they looked in their apartment and empty and no beds and cried. I had the opposite. So I think God it's been good. I think
the reception team is getting better here. Okay what about personal training? Are you going with that? Yeah I'm going to keep going. I'm only here four days. I'm going to start kind of feeling out. I spoke to a few trainers in the neighborhood who are more than happy to show me the ropes, show me their gems and tell me about their their businesses. Did you meet Jerry? Jerry I've been in touch with. Did you meet Jerry Hyman? I met Jerry. The Rebby the Rebby a Rebby of training. Yeah Jerry's awesome. We're meeting tomorrow. Jerry I trained with Jerry. Nice. Yeah I trained with Jerry once a week. I wish I could do twice a week. Amazing. Yeah Jerry's great. Once a week. Sheila once a week. Jerry. Yeah okay. Yeah listen to could happen. I love it. I love training. I love actually a personal trainer. I think that people you know they we need that. We need sometimes somebody to motivate us and to get us going to make us you know work out to our potential and that's what I try to do in terms of of immigration to land and strengthening our land which is to get people excited. It's I'm also personal training you know. It's just not in physical stuff as much although you know I can do some stuff. Yeah absolutely. Yeah we actually were inspired to make our own channel so we made a YouTube
channel, leave house, head home to our sister. And my wife made an Instagram and we're kind of chronicling our journey. That's Akira Shoshem. That's a sanctification God's name. That's so great. Yeah show them the journey and I want to say something to you Sheila. Is that your given name Sheila? Yeah nice. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. David. Oh your parents already prepared you. They did. How are they by the way? My mom wants to make Alia so she's coming to visit on two days and my brother also we kind of put the seed and then watered it and did not take long. Well it's not your seed. It's your here. You're in the land and they're going to miss you and that's going to bring them that's going to connect them. Yeah. And that's actually the magic of Alia it makes more Alia. Immigration to land and you strengthen the whole land you know this place is supposed to strengthen you on the one hand strengthen your kids make them more Jewish but you bring a lot of strength as well you know you bring the goodness of the day as we bring a lot with us it's like we bring a treasure with us. All right so that's really great. Oh and I wanted to say something to you when you chronicle stuff don't just chronicle the good chronicle the challenges. Okay. You know I've
found that when you show people also the challenges and how you face them and how you deal with them uh that's the drama and that's the overcoming that's the reality of it. Yeah. There is a reality. It's not always simple. 100%. Alia was the single most difficult thing that I ever did for me not on an emotional level on a practical level. There's a lot of legwork selling a house finding a house selling your cars finding a car it was a lot so definitely there's that but my passion was really strong so a lot of the other stuff that sometimes gets to people didn't so my wife had one perspective where it was super hard for her for certain things and for me it wasn't but I had to you know field her questions and her complaints but we're here and honestly me and my family like we couldn't be happier so beautiful you know husbands and wives we strengthen strengthen one another Oliam immigrants we strengthen one another and the land of Israel strengthens the Jewish people and it's really really happening and you're here at a great time you're also here to vote I'm going to ask for your vote in a few months okay so I'm psyched about that and together we're going
to be strong and the township of Afra is welcoming you in to this good land and you know Shlomo cats and the whole thing it's all here for you Jerry and his awesome gym is here for you all right to help you become the the awesome trainer and you can help a lot of other people and have a lot of faith and confidence and let's pray together we're in the we're in the month of prayer let's pray for the continued redemption let's pray that it continues to to to happen that whatever antisemitism we feel we'll recognize that it's really God's love that's propelling us forward back to the land of Israel and just really strength strength physical strength spiritual yeah here's your kid look yes I mean all right okay Shlomo thank you who's this this is Lior Lior say hi hi Liora yay Liora brochema Baim welcome to land of Israel yeah so Daraba so Daraba for coming home and don't forget leave house head home to erotic throughout okay that's your new that's your new youtube page yeah yeah yeah and for me it's
buildisrael.com that's how people can support buildisrael.com or buy me a coffee.com forward slash shishai that way we build the land of Israel together Shiloh and Liora thank you so much of course our pleasure thank you God bless you and God bless you folks wherever you are come on home and Shlomo
