00The fact that Michael's sailor or any other company and or individuals are buying Bitcoin doesn't change the fact that your dollars or the fear currencies you have is going to debate. Eventually, supply and demand dynamics of just, you know, actual Bitcoin bot will take over here. I have a feeling we're going to be saying for the next 10 to 20 years that we're still early to Bitcoin. Look, Bitcoin's either going to zero or it's going to infinity. If you're enjoying my content, it will mean the world to me if you could subscribe to the channel and like my video to support my journey. Thank you. Guys, welcome back to another show. It's Monday. Catch up with Bitcoin with Neil. How you doing, man? Good. How are you? Guys, as always, you will find a fantastic discount code in the description box below 15% of, so make sure to use it. Thank you, Neil, for allowing us to have this count here. And we're running a discount right now on t-shirts. So the spring sale, $5 of all t-shirts right now. Quick update or my status, the numbers are diminishing. I've heard that Trump is going to speak today. There's going to be a speech happening. I don't know
01what it's going to talk about, but some people are speculating that maybe things are going to come down a little bit. I did write an article, by the way, which has gotten 45,000 views so far. How I feel about Dubai, how I'm seeing reality being twisted from the media, which is not a news, right? We all know. But as soon as they have the opportunity, they like to twist things, right? You know, people are jealous of other people's circumstances, and I want to say, I got you, you know, when things aren't going right. Misery loves company. It's unfortunately a lot of human nature. This is the Dubai real estate market, and you can see it's gone down since the war started 20%. So those are monthly candles? Those are monthly candles, yes. So if I switch on a weekly, you can see that there is clearly a correction happening. It's actually interesting to show that when people are saying, oh, Bitcoin is volatile, yeah, okay, 20%, actually 21% so far. I strongly believe if the conflict is going to continue for another week or so, this is going to drop even more.
06If I really wanted to move to Dubai before, this would definitely make it easier now. I think this is all going to blow over. Maybe it'll be a few more weeks, maybe a few more months, but eventually, you know, either the US will get things under control there, or they won't, and it'll just go back to how it was before. I'd be considering making a purchase if I live there. That goes also with Bitcoin, right? If the asset is good, and there is a sell-off happening, well, then it's a good time to invest, perhaps, like you said. People often talk about gold, right? They're saying, oh, gold is better than Bitcoin. If you are in a situation, for example, now that you would like to move and everything you have is in gold, or you do have a big portion in gold, and you want to take it with you into another country, well, guess what? You can't. So you have to sell it, and we've seen some sort of a discount happening in gold, because people want to get rid of their goals to fly maybe into a different country, right? So again, Bitcoin doesn't have this problem. It's fairly portable. Yeah, you know, Bitcoin's value propositions are shining
09right now, even though if that might not be reflected in the price, if you just understand Bitcoin, you see so many reasons why it's important, right? If you're in Iran and your currency basically is worth nothing now, and you need to get out of that country, or if you just need to take your wealth anywhere in the world, you know, Bitcoin is so much more valuable, including in terms of its properties than gold. I mean, look, right now, if you're trying to get rid of your gold in Dubai, you can't get what is the actual market price. Bitcoin, anywhere in the world, you have an internet connection, you could sell it tightly liquid at the exact market price at any time. Bitcoin's 24.7, you know, 365 market, people get scared of the volatility, but what do we, what do you hear people like Michael Seller and others say, volatility is a feature, not a bug, and that's what you get. It doesn't have to be necessarily like a hard core situation. You could just be wanting to locate into a different country. Maybe your life is in Dubai, you want to move somewhere else or vice versa, right? It doesn't have to be necessarily an escalation here.
11It shows how strong Bitcoin is compared to physical things, right? Because being under percent digital has his own perks. It's not necessarily all horrible. If we were discussing a camera earlier, this shows how little people know these days, right? Because there is no button. Bitcoin is going to die. I don't mess with it. You think Bitcoin is going to die? Oh, you touched nothing with crypto. I don't touch it. I was like, do you realize that that Bitcoin is still based on Fiat? Because the dollar is decreasing in its value, because the uncertainty of war around nobody wants their money and something that can be wiped out with a push of a button somewhere. I've stayed free and clear of it because it's been dropping a great deal. Right. What is the bottom deal? Yeah, I don't know how to say this nicely, but he definitely has some sort of intellectual disability or cognitive impairment. Or just talks about things he has no idea what he's talking about. Bitcoin just can't
12be turned off with the push of a button. Thousands, hundreds of thousands of people around the world running software on their computers. So how do you turn that off uniformly? You can't. So yeah, he doesn't really know what he's talking about. Again, if the Bitcoin network for some reason, there was an EMP that shut all everything down. He just turned it back on. People have copies in secure places. This is all just ridiculous. We're so early to Bitcoin. The average person is completely clueless. I have a feeling we're going to be saying for the next 10 to 20 years that we're still early to Bitcoin. Unfortunately for the asymmetric upside, unfortunately for making Bitcoin maybe making the world a better place at a faster rate. Yeah, it's just like people don't understand it. Everyone has opinions on it. I can't really remember that well about the internet in the 90s, but you see old quotes about people dismissing the internet's potential
18and I think we're seeing the same thing here. You don't really need to know how something works to use it and find value from it. Could people technically explain how email work, how their cell phones work? Of course not, but they know they get value out of it. I think it's just a harder value prop with Bitcoin. You have to put in work to see where the value is and hold it over time. So it's a little different than some of these other technologies. And I think that's why the gap will in knowledge will exist for a lot longer. Because unless you put in the work, the utility of Bitcoin, it's not achieved in like a day where, oh, I sent an email. It works. Cool. I could use this forever. It takes a lot of learning. So that's why I just think this is potentially another like multi-decade kind of thing until people just get in and sub saying idiotic things like this. Am I allowed to curse on the podcast? Yeah, I'll beep it. Don't worry. I go for it. It's maybe more work. No, that's okay. It's such a good point, by the way, because I was there.
21I remember the early days of the internet and I remember how difficult it was to send an email. In the beginning, when the old thing started off, you actually had to connect to a phone. You couldn't use the line. It was really expensive. You have to connect, dial in, wait 20 minutes. It was super slow. Seeing how easy it is today, technology has got much better. So now you have smartphone in your pocket, right? And the smartphone already has all the apps. You just need to have an account. So you can go anywhere and open it up. There is no barriers to entry. And I think Bitcoin is going to the same transformation. Like, you can make an argument about Bitcoin if you want to. If you know what you're talking about, you can make an argument. But this, the Bitcoin is going to die because it corrected 50%. This is someone who wanted to say something and he probably spent zero time in understanding what Bitcoin is, what Bitcoin does, how Bitcoin works. It's just so a 50% correction and he's like, oh my god, it's going to die. Yeah, this goes without saying, when you go on a platform, whatever big or small doesn't matter, before you say something, you should at least do the diligence, right? Because otherwise, people think you are
25that's how it is. Are we allowed to say that word on YouTube? I'll probably beat that too. The obituary is, you know, people calling Bitcoin dead. It's only, they show like 400, 500 times. It's more like 40,000 times. It's just not everything is documented every day with every, every time someone says a really moronic statement. I mean, I saw a YouTube video, someone yesterday, I was tagged in it. And whoever tagged me in this video, thank you for wasting a few minutes of my time. But basically, talking about Bitcoin, it doesn't have intrinsic value. And clearly, it's not an inflation hedge. And Bob, and I'm just like, well, he's like ridiculous talking points. And this is why a lot of the macro people, I feel they're messaging. Sometimes it does a disservice to Bitcoin adoption. Because yes, like technically, in certain times, Bitcoin has enacted as a strict inflation hedge, you know, because there's a lot of supply and demand, supply and demand dynamics that go around the price of Bitcoin on any given day or any given
30time period. And we're still in the early adoption of this new money. I think it's always better to talk about why Bitcoin is just a superior form of money. And then you don't have to, you know, fight every Twitter war about why Bitcoin, why didn't do exactly this at this time when this happened. It's like, no, it's just better money. What are the characteristics of money, right? Portability, scarcity, fungibility, durability, talk about those things. And, you know, the value of Bitcoin over time, it'll work itself out. I don't know if you've seen this, but someone who apparently mapped with ChargePT, the old 3D universe of the Bitcoin network. This is super cool, man. It looks like a solar system. Look at that. I'm basically taking a look at it for the first time. I know you showed me before. Yeah, I guess it shows like capital flows. It's pretty cool. Bitcoin is its own breathing, living organism at this point. It can't be stopped. You know, it can't, the cat's out of the bag. There's a reason you have all these institutions kind of
30waking up to it now. I know that frustrates people for a lot of reasons ideologically. And also people who just want number go up. And it's not assembly doing exactly what they want at any given moment. It shows that, you know, adoption is getting more and more widespread. And it's a beautiful thing to witness. Yeah, indeed. I love how they built it. Where kind of Bitcoin looks like a sun in the middle of the old solar system. And then you have all these kind of things flying around, like the ETFs and BlackRock and all those companies. I hope someone is going to come up with some sort of a maybe interactive map because everything is open and transparent, right? So you can actually go in and see what's happening in real time, which is kind of amazing. History is about to be made because we are about to be mining 20 million Bitcoin. I think it's going to happen today in your time zone, right? Yeah. So look, it looks like we're 246 Bitcoin away from the 20 million Bitcoin being nine. So that's pretty cool, which basically what is that? That's there's how many block Bitcoin per block now? It's 3.125. There's six blocks. So by the time people will see this video,
35it'll already have happened, but that's about 13 hours from now. So which is what's that? Nine PM Eastern almost. It's a cool reminder of the math behind Bitcoin, the programmability, the physics. It's almost what I think the having is still a significant event, maybe not in terms of supply coming onto the market because it's such a small amount, but just in terms of the fact that it reminds people of Bitcoin's fixed and expected monetary policy, right? We know what it's going to be. We know the amount of Bitcoin. And these little events, although they don't necessarily affect the price, it's a good reminder of why Bitcoin's important. If you look into the adoption and who's buying and how much they are buying and the amount of Bitcoin being mined, this is just inevitable, right? So moment of history right here. You know, right now it's 450 Bitcoin or mine per day. That's a lot less than when Bitcoin first started. Let me see what the number was. It used
38to be 7200 Bitcoin per day if I'm doing the math, right? And now what did I say? It's 450. So you could see that having process is definitely taking its toll over time. And Sailor, he announced yesterday, the next century in Bitcoin begins. And what he was referring to, I think, is strategy had already purchased Bitcoin a hundred different times. So that's what he meant by the next centuries, beginning as the next hundred buys. So yeah, they just bought a nut, wow, they just bought 18,000 Bitcoin for $1.3 billion strategy. So yeah, nothing is stopping that train. So what a, yeah, so you just pulled it up on the screen. 18,000 Bitcoin, $1.28 billion, $70,000 per Bitcoin. Yeah, they're just the machine. You know, they have that vehicle STRC stretch, which you know, people keep buying into and then they're able to buy more Bitcoin because of that. I'm not sure if they had diluted their common shareholders at all, but it's interesting to see what's going on here.
41I don't know how it will play out. I know a lot of people don't like some people like this, a lot of people like it. Some people don't like it because they think, oh, it's too concentrated and one holder. We need to remember that, you know, strategy has millions of different beneficiaries. It's not like it's just seller that has the ownership rights to this Bitcoin. If you connect all the dots, what we are saying now, there is only 450 Bitcoin per day, right? And this guy shows up and he buys almost 18,000. So that's insane. He's going to increase the number of companies having some sort of a play in Bitcoin, maybe not as hardcore as Michael's seller, but maybe like a two percent location, a three percent, a five percent location. The number is going to increase. There is a cap on the supply for a reason, right? So I don't think we have seen yet that in the equation. I think we've only seen the market potentially going forward on Trump and the administration and a decent pump from wherever the bottom, a couple of years ago,
4115,000 on the way to 126. Again, I remain bullish. I don't play that short term. So I don't care if we temporarily correct to 59 and then we pump again, then we correct again. I mean, we've seen a lot of volatility in the past 10 days. I think we've gone all the way to 74 and then back again to whatever 60s. I don't care. It doesn't matter. I mean, yeah, he just bought 40 days worth of Bitcoin mind. But he basically, I'm almost a month and a half that it would take a while. If one miner mind all the Bitcoin in the world for 40 days, it would equal this one purchase. People get upset with the price of Bitcoin and they say, oh, there's paper, Bitcoin, blah, blah. Eventually, supply and demand dynamics of just actual Bitcoin will take over here. It's a crazy experiment going on with strategy. I say to people in terms of Bitcoin, this is the most interesting social experiment in human history. Software just being released into the wild and people independently just running the software and network effects growing
47and infrastructure worth billions of dollars, billions and billions of dollars around the world forming around this thing. It's like nothing the world's ever seen. You doubt it at your peril say stupid things like someone could push a button. It's just this thing. It's out of the bag. No one's going to stop it. Yeah, super. We'll set it on the other hand. We are seeing Google searches on help me with the mortgage kind of thing trending to a new old time high. Again, this is the other side, right? So there's going to be a point when the new generation is going to take over the family portfolios and they're going to go away the second. Do I want to have two or three homes? Do I want to have the headache of being a landlord? We are in a good spot because there are places like in Argentina and Turkey we discussed a couple of weeks ago. Whether things don't even have the option of saying, well, you know what? I have my bank account. I put my savings in there because the currency is so bad they have to find some place else to put it. I think we're going to witness the generational mindset switch where your parents, your grandparents
50are going to give you some sort of a, they're going to leave you something and then you're going to go, wait, I don't think whatever they had back then is appropriate today. And I have to build some sort of a even a parachute, like a 5% allocation on bitcoin. Maybe you can keep your regular state portfolio, but you want to have a small allocation in digital assets, right? Meaning bitcoin. These Google trends are really interesting to look at. You know, in the US at least in like 2021-2022, you had this like boom and housing prices. A lot of the problems, like the boomers own most of the wealth in the US. They own most of the properties and then you have, you know, Gen Z, maybe millennials, you know, prices skyrocketed. Interest rates run up. No one could afford them and people that bought houses had appreciated prices. Well, now the price is going to come down and they're going to start being underwater on their mortgages. And this is kind of what happens. I'm not really sure what's next. I know they
53talk about dropping interest rates in the US, like the Federal Reserve, but I don't know how that would necessarily affect like long-term debt mortgages. We're just in really uncharted times, uncharted water, water, I guess they say. So I, you know, I hold bitcoin as a hedge against uncertainty. It doesn't mean it can't go down more. It doesn't mean it's going to be a chaotic ride. But yeah, that's the only thing I know that's not affected. That's not a, doesn't have its supply changed. It doesn't have someone determining interest rate policies affecting it. Search is for bitcoin going to zero or at like all time highs. Look, bitcoin's either going to zero or it's going to infinity. So if you think it's going to zero, okay, you know, don't buy bitcoin. If you think a trend like this is a great indicator of a potential bottoming out, you know, if you have some extra cash, you know, fiat convert it, hand over fist into bitcoin probably, you know, not financial advice, but just things that historically have worked out in all different types of markets,
57you know, when there's the fear is at its greatest, when people doubt the most, you know, that's when you get in. Exactly. And this is one of the things I like the most about bitcoin that he has so many superpowers. And one of them is the fact that you can decide to allocate as much as you wish, even a dollar, right? So you don't have to necessarily go in and buy one bitcoin and expose yourself with almost $70,000, depending on what you're watching the video. But fiat is destroying itself and is debasing over time. So what options do I have? I have gold. I have real estate. I have bitcoin. Okay, I'm going to take a portion of my portfolio and park it over there. I really like that messaging. I do feel, you know, a lot of people, they have like a unit bias. They see, you know, seller announcing an 18,000 bitcoin purchase and they think, what's the point? I think I think it's a very privileged mindset to be to think like, oh, what's the point? If you have, you know, then Israel and Boulevard are Argentinian pesos. You try to convert them to dollars because, you know, it's an inferring fear of form of currency. If you have dollars, you might not realize it's an inferior
58form of money relative to bitcoin, but it is and it will show that over time. What does it matter if you can't buy a whole bitcoin, but you could protect the $10,000 you have today or the $1,000 you have today from that eventual debatement? Maybe the ETFs will help some people get around that because, oh, I could buy an ETF. It's $40 a share, right, for the ETF. So that'll get some people in. They're not obviously getting the properties that bitcoin has. You know, they're not getting the full value and utility that bitcoin has, but at least it's a start for some people. The fact that Michael's sailor or any other company and or individuals are buying bitcoin doesn't change the fact that your dollars or the fear currencies you have is going to debate. It doesn't actually matter what other people are doing. The only thing that matters is what you decide to do and how you decide to protect yourself and maybe, hey, maybe bitcoin is now for you. No problems. But again, ignoring bitcoin is not going to make the dollar stable. So you still have the
58issue. So whatever it is that you decide to do, please acknowledge the problem or the opportunity issue. You want to be an optimistic. Yeah. And ultimately that's an ego thing. Comparison is the thief of joy. You start comparing yourself to Michael's sailor or anyone or your neighbor or the guy that got in five years before you. It should be irrelevant to how you look at bitcoin, but unfortunately, a lot of people just can't do it. They'll pay the price for that, most likely. But the people who put their ego aside will not. Thanks, Nate. LoL is a pleasure, man. I appreciate it. Yeah, no, you know, you never plug yourself. What, make sure you subscribe to the Mr. M podcast on YouTube. Make sure you subscribe. I think now I'm listed as a collaborator. If you wanted to subscribe to me, you can as well. Follow us on on X Twitter. And also, like we said, if you want some cool bitcoin merch, go to FOMO 21. Use the code catch up. Is that what we said? Like catch up, but not really catch up. Yeah, catch up.
00And maybe 15% off anything there. So yeah. Thanks, Nate. Let's see you next Monday. Okay. Yeah. Thanks for thanks for giving me your time. A pleasure. Guys, thank you so much for watching. See you. I'm the next one.
