1. Dedicate It All to God.

2. Give the First Part to God.

Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the first of all your produce; So your barns will be filled with plenty And your vats will overflow with new wine.

Proverbs 3:9–10 (NASB95)

‘Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S; it is holy to the LORD. …For every tenth part of herd or flock, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD.

Leviticus 27:30–32 (NASB 95)

3. Save for the Future.

In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.

Proverbs 21:20 (NIV84)

Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Proverbs 13:11 (NIV84)

4. Repay What You Owe.

The plans of the diligent certainly lead to advantage, But everyone who is in a hurry certainly comes to poverty.

Proverbs 21:5 (NASB 2020)

The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.

Proverbs 22:7 (NASB 2020)

5. Enjoy What You Have.

Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

Ecclesiastes 5:19 (NASB 2020)

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

1 Timothy 6:17–19 (NASB 2020)
