About this episode
This week, Uzma's pre adolescent son, Usman, provides points for Muslim American moms to be successful and operate better on their day to day. See if you think what he says is just for Muslim American moms or not, and maybe you'll find a pleasant surprise.
There are plenty of revelations for some here, at least for those who have been raised with some "back home" style parenting, but most of this young man's sage advice is now common knowledge, and we hope to break cycles of negative parenting with better tools. We're all a work in progress. Even better is the great news Usman offers about his own experiences with discrimination at school, and we can only hope that every Muslim kid in this country feels the same way.
A nice pearl today is a quick guide for the Muslim American, or any, family, so make sure you listen to the end! Don't forget to rate and review this episode, or DM/PM on FB or IG.
