Karin Sorkin | Intuitive bAbBLE — WHAT is going to satiate YOU. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
I got off and I was like, I love you. And then I start laughing at myself because I do, I, I'm telling you, to utilize your tool correctly and yet don't let your tool utilize you, right? Because that's what's happening when we get stuck in our head. And so it's like let your high yourself take over your tool and you just experience you, your truest, you, your heart, lead you, let your feel, you know, feel and let your higher self lead you in the mind. And it's almost like to touch the two and at the same time unite the two. Anyway, I had gotten off and said, and yet I'm like the thinking woman, I'm forever. And I see it sometimes as stuck in my head when it's not, it's like we, we have to balance out the two in that we have to decide and decipher. And again, you'll decide and decipher until you decide and feel and know and resonate
with what is true, what feels right, what feels good, what feels real, what feels you, right? What's authentically you? What is going to satiate you? And it's being an alignment, right? Living in the present moment, really getting real with yourself. And so like maybe that is part of my alignment. Because I love indulging in contemplating, understanding, translating. And so it does sometimes feel like that. It feels like running back and forth, almost like gobbling up both. It's like love learning and experiencing. And then love, digesting and translating, right, and understanding and deciphering and learning myself, right, like understanding my truth, like instead of being like an automatic regurgitator, right, it's like, okay, let's be honest, you experienced that.
And what was that experience, right, like did you do X, Y, and Z to get? Did that feel right? Were you with the flow? Was it coming from your heart, you know? Can you do more of blah, blah, blah? And so it does feel like I'm analyzing a lot. And I think that's just part of what I'm good at and what I enjoy doing. But again, I have to be very careful, because that is a fine line based on other things we've talked about. And it can get me stuck or trapped in that I can lean too much one way or the other, because it is almost like an indulgence for me. It's like, it can be like a, it's not a black hole, but kind of like I can sink into it to the point where it's like playing a game or solving a puzzle, but then loving it so much that I'm forever solving a puzzle, that I forgot that there's other games to play.
Do you know what I mean? Where it's like, you might be really good at playing games, so that's wonderful that you've mastered that puzzle and keep doing it because you're really good at it and you really enjoy it. But don't shortchange yourself by not discovering new things. And so I guess that's the fine line of the one they were talking about previously, of the Eastern and Western cultures of that understanding where you want to always continue to grow, to elevate yourself and to enjoy life and your experience here so you don't get stuck or stagnant. But you also don't want to be constantly pushing out of comfort zones in the sense that you're never just living and being and allowing that flow. And when we live and be and allow that flow, it feels amazing. And then naturally you become the master of that area or craft because it feels amazing and you continue to do it because it feels good, not because you've mastered it. And you also don't want to get stuck or stagnant there because you do slip into your ego
thinking, oh, because I've mastered this, I must stay here. This is what I'm good at. Yes, stay and enjoy it. Indulge and allow that flow and also allow for other avenues to open you up to other possibilities and expansion. Not for further recognition or pumping up your ego or becoming the title of master of something else, but because you want to grow and expand and experience, feel, live more, more ranges, more feelings, more expansion, more depths, more liars, more swings, okay. Thanks so much for tuning in and listening. You can now purchase an audio journey with me using the link below.
