1:00What if instead of having you on this radio station, there was somebody else. All right, what if Wednesday? John, what's on the run down? What if Governor Kelly fails to sign Kansas's bell to bell no sell bill? Then she is even more of a partisan hack than I thought she was. I mean, if you are truly middle of the road, you will sign this bill into law when you get to work today. If you're Governor Kelly, I don't care. I don't know if they're supposed to wait till the end of session to do all that. I don't know if she's like technically supposed to wait. You go to the office today, get to your desk, fold the umbrella in, and sign this piece of legislation, gov. What does this do? It requires school districts and accredited non-public schools to adopt policies, restricting student cell phone use during the school day. This is a no-brainer.

2:02Get the phones out of the kids hands on the school districts. It gives the school district protection so that when Karen's like, my little Johnny needs to have a cell phone on them at all times. Nope, sorry, state law. This is in the best interest of kids. I keep hearing this fear mongering of, well, what if the kids are being treated or taught about trans ideology and my kids trying to record them and they can't record them anymore? Okay, stop. Go home, have your kid tell you what's going on, bring it up. You'll have ways to figure that out beyond the kid recording it in his classroom. There you go. Either they remember it and then you can fight that legally or they don't remember it so therefore it doesn't matter. Yeah, exactly. Then don't worry about it. I totally agree, totally agree. It's like, you know what, we just got to move on from this from from like the worst or the worst and just say, what makes sense for everybody? And what makes sense for everybody is getting

Well, then I hope if we're serious about this and it's not just politics in the wake of the Dominic Miller plea deal that happened this week, the one of the guys who was involved with the chief Super Bowl parade shooting, then I hope people actually go about it the right way. I don't know if it needs refinement or not. Okay, I'm skeptical of the case that has been made by Melissa Johnson, the Jackson County prosecutor who was on the show this morning. You can go back and listen to that on the podcast after the show's over. But if there is refinement needed, then do it the right way. Don't just talk to NPR to her credit. She came on this show and trust me, the people that listen to this show can actually make that change. Unlike the NPR latte, you know, blue hair, Ukrainian flag crowd. So with that, they're probably flying Iranian flags now.

Make the case to the right people, do it professionally, do it privately and make your case that way. Don't just blast in the media because that's just going to take people off and make people think you're motivated by politics and social media clicks, not actually the law and legislation. All right.
