Wethersfield Robbery Suspects Arrested

0:00Police and weather's field Connecticut nabbed two suspects over the weekend for knocking over a family dollar store. It went down on March 28th at the spot on Salas Dean Highway. Miguel Ramirez, 57 from New Britain and Susette Mendez, 48 from Hartford, faced first-degree robbery charges along with larceny and conspiracy counts. Both got hit with $50,000 bonds ahead of court on March 30th in New Britain, Superior Court. The clerk told cops a black guy in a grey jacket pulled a handgun, grabbed merchandise, and bolted with a Hispanic woman by his side. They peeled out in a red Hyundai Elantra heading toward Hartford right before police rolled up. Hartford cops spotted the car at 10.43pm that Saturday and pulled him over, taking both into custody without a hitch. No word yet on how much loot they snagged, but his shook up the local retail scene quick. Mendez out Ramirez copped defencing the stolen goods at a Hartford spot and cops found a knife on him too. Mendez picked up an extra charge for possessing a controlled substance.
