West Virginia Stuns BYU, Snaps Skid

Chance Moore poured in 11 during that spurt, setting the tone for the second half where West Virginia never trailed. BYU made a late push, getting within 3 at 74-71 on a steel and layup, with just over a minute left. But the Cougars couldn't buy a bucket after that, turning it over twice on chances to tie while West Virginia sank five of six free throws down the stretch. Robert Wright III had 23 for BYU, and AJ divanced a bounce back with 20 after a quiet first half. Still, rebound woes kept the Cougars behind most of the way. This win snaps West Virginia's three-game skid and moves them to two and four against top 25 teams.
