The past month has been a wake-up call for all of us. The banking system is in bad shape and can collapse at any time. The Federal Reserve had to intervene, as well, FDIC, government officials, and the treasury are probably working extra hours to keep the zombie economy going and the dollar alive for a little more time. But the recent macroeconomic movements are all pointing at the death of the dollar as the world reserve currency, which I can say is the beginning of the end.
