About this episode
Welcome to WASTOIDS With…Limbeck. Led by Patrick Carrie and Robb MacLean, with Justin Entsminger and Jon Phillip, Limbeck has been mixing Orange County skater vibes with rustic country-tinged indie rock since 1999.
2003’s Hi, Everything’s Great earned them a cult of devoted fans, and while they have operated in a limited capacity over the years since, the band has recently been hitting the road, which is where Mike Behrends caught up with them for this WASTOIDS chat. Patrick and Robb decamped to their mini-van to record this talk, outside of the Majestic Theater in Madison, to discuss the group’s origin story, the inspiration behind their sound, and tease a brand new album in the works. All that and more this week on WASTOIDS With.
This week’s episode features original music by Sam Means and selections from the Hi, Everything’s Great B-Sides Collection, which you can get from Limbeck’s Bandcamp page. We want to thank Mike for hosting this talk. Find him online @banjoteeth. Wanna share your favorite Limbeck song or anything else? All you have to do is call 1-877-WASTOIDS to get in touch, and we’ll play your message on a future episode.
