Washington Commanders Sign CB Amik Robertson

Cornerback, Amick Robertson, has agreed to a two-year contract worth $16 million, including $9.3 million guaranteed. Reports broke earlier this week from multiple sources confirming the deal. This move comes as the team looks to improve their defensive backfield, heading into the season. Robertson, a 27-year-old veteran, spent the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions. Last year, in 2025, he played all 17 games with 10 starts, notching 52 tackles, 12 passes defense, two forced. Fumbles and one interception. Drafted in the fourth round by the Raiders back in 2020, he has appeared in 86 career games with 35 starts. Over that time, he racked up 35 passes, defense, and five interceptions total.
