I was born and raised right here in the DMV, and my team is made up of experienced, reputable local attorneys dedicated to fighting for injury victims just like you.

With offices in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, my team and I are ready to stand up for you. Call 888-828-Hurt. That's 888-828-HURT. And let us fight back for you. Don't forget, today, you can join us at Parr City in Arlington. We're going to be there from 4 until 6 p.m. You can compete for prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin.

06Why don't we update people? Indoor golf sims. Valdez and I were just talking about it. Valdez, once you give people an idea of maybe what we've been competing for. Okay, so for the closest to the pin at Parr City, the winner for that will get that new SM-11 Voki Wedge. Right. First place for the long drive is going to get the, I believe it's an Arctic brand, hard cooler from Surfside. It's really nice. It's really nice. Yes, that's one of the premium products. Yeah, especially since it's going to be nice this week and make you think of the beach and take them to the beach. We're going to throw in some golf balls, too. Yeah, we'll have a dozen golf balls to go with that. And a Parr City gift card for first place for longest drive. Good golf balls. Yeah, TP5, TP5 X is second place for the longest drive. We'll get the softer, we'll get the soft Arctic. Which I have now. It's very nice, too. And a dozen golf balls. We have six dozen golf balls to give away. So if you place anywhere on closest to the pin

06or longest drive, you're going to win something. It's a good number for longest drive. Okay, but assume we have young guys in there. It would be over 300. You know, Mike Maure, what are you going to, I'm assuming you're going to be there. What are you going to get out there on the longest drive? So one of my roommates, he's a huge golfer and he's basically happy Gilmore. He's been talking a lot of smack. He'll be out there tonight. He said he's going to put one about 350. Well, then he might win. But here's a question about these. Are we going to give them three swings? Like you can't just go there and give a guy 20 swing. No, I think you get, I think you get three swings on each competition. Like you go warm up in another bay and the balls. Yeah, the pressure's on. Yeah, you get three, you get three shots at it. You get three cracks. And we're going to be logging, logging it and you only get three shots. I think that's fair. Okay, that's fair. When guys try and crush it, it's a good chance they're going to slice it. Yeah, well, you just have to hit one. Yeah, just one for three, just connect on one for three. You know, I know when I've seen long drive contests on TV, there's, it's got to be in bounds.

08Oh, yeah, with the sim, do we have to be in the fairway? Oh, yeah. Oh, of course, you can't be in a rough. Okay, it's got to be in the fairway. Can't be in the water. Yeah, yeah. That's why I know it can't be in the water. I think it's got to be in the fairway. I can't remember, this probably is in the purple heart open the years ago where the guy had hit the ball in the super elevated tee. You see that bit? Yeah. And he smoked the ball. Those guys are unbelievable. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a trick shot guy. That was awesome. I was like, wow. When you see the long drive guys in person, it's pretty, it's pretty nuts. Yeah, um, no, that'll be fun. That'll, that'll be a lot of fun. Although I did out drive the one in Norbeck when we were in the area. Did you out drive more clocks? You were close. I think you didn't out drive them. I think you were close. The story's growing. By the way, I'm sure we're not, I'm sure our group's not going to pay 20 bucks or whatever it is to use the long drive guys drive. I'm sure we're not going to do that. Well, that's what we were saying. We were like, well, these is wasn't that far off. We should just use his. Right, just save 20 bucks. Yeah, yeah. And the car might have been passed it. But those guys, those guys you,

08it's done, man. I can get it all technically. They use super wippy shafts and they, uh, they have like four degrees of loft. Okay. So they, and they tee it up high and they just hammer it. But it's hard to hit the timing of it is. It's the time it perfectly hit that straight. That's why they, that's so wild. It's, it's threading a needle, basically. Yeah, I mean, they literally no loft on them. And they just, you know, one in six or whatever. They just need one in six to connect. That's why it's so kind of. I saw a guy hit, uh, he was an even trick shot guy. Hit it about 240 with a putter. Yeah. I mean, that's off the tee. That's pretty insane. I played nine holes one day with a wackado that only had a putter up at that course. I'm never getting the name. Putter up close to close to your house. What's that little to nine hole place? Where Jason grew up going to. Oh, paint branch. No, no. Sligo creep. Sligo. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. And he was used to putter off the tee. But it was at a full swing. Yeah. That's so weird. That is a weird bit.

08Was he doing it for eighties? No, apparently he's no apparently he's been known for doing that. That's his thing. Right. That's his calling card. I wonder if he. I wonder if he bets people there. He was actually pretty decent. I mean, he's pretty good at it. Put it down the middle. Yeah, right. That probably was an $800,000 house. All right, this is going real quick. It's going to reggie in DC. But by the way, again, that's a par city golf in Arlington. Yes, it is. It's not like a bar. I mean, they have like a bar area with like a refrigerator with some beers. That's all that's all you need to be. It's not like I just want people to understand. It's not like a. It's not like where you like saddle up. Yeah, and they said there's taps. It's not all right. Here's my question. Let's see. Can you walk in and purchase a beer? Yes. Yes. Okay, then that's all you need. Okay. But just when you know what it is, it's a golf place. Yeah, but you can think they're going to have food there. Golfers and food sites for sure. Yeah, perfect. Yeah, yeah. All right, let's go to Reggie in DC. Reggie, what's up? What's going on, fellas? What's up, Reggie?

09Man, listen, we've been for the last, what two all seasons pass, what's the pass, what's the pass, what's it? All due respect to the detrick wise and the take of Martin's. We, we, okay, we check Mark here. As far as I wanted to my say, Phillips or away Phillips. I think with the Carolina for 120. Yeah, right. 130 million. Yeah, yeah, and he gets hurt a lot. Now, the money was even. I would, I would probably lean towards Phillips, but I'm, I'm ecstatic with O.A. You can't pay Linda bomb. The number one sinner money. And then you got the left tackle that's making number one money. And then you got the right guard. It's probably top five. You can't pull all that money until you open the line. No, I agree. And then I agree. And you said something earlier, E.B. And again, I know we went in. I would have trusted Jay and I would have trust Blau. Man, that boy would have came here making $31, $32 million a year. He's number nine as far as, and again, I get it. You know, that's where it's slotted this year. We would have been looking for number one product.

09Because that's what we're paying for. We're not paying for you to just run nine routes. So we haven't seen it. He, I don't know whether or not he has it or not. So I'm, I'm, I'm kind of glad that we didn't because it would have been a lot of pressure him coming here making that a lot of projection. Then he's going to take that next step. Yeah, yeah. Give me, give me now again, if we get a, I need a while to see, but you got tape. You got Tyson and, and, and so you got some guys in college that can come in and it's going to be on that rookie deal that that's cheaper that again, we still can build out the roster. So for me, I wanted one of the past roster. I think which one it was. Give me one. And so give me the grade. Yeah, give me your grade. What you want? Give me a J one grade B. All right. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, give me a solid. Give me a solid. Give me solid. And, and, and look, I can't fault them. They were in it on Lindemont. They wanted him. They got four or seven million a year. Also Pierce more money than the cold stem. So you can't blame them there. And then Phillips, I mean, he had 30 million a year. But you do have to look at the results. So like the results, I'm looking at some of the social media responses

11about the one word to describe day one. And it is day one. Yeah. Underwhelming, underwhelming, but not surprising, average. Okay, I agree. Maybe that's the end result, but they did. You can't blame them on intent. It seemed like the intent was there. Okay, but they just couldn't, couldn't pull it off. It's the NFL. It's not an intent league. It's a results league. I understand, but if they had signed those guys and for that amount of money, I think we'd be critical. I think you'd say, wow, that might be fiscally irresponsible what they just did. They just panic. But do you want fiscal responsibility? Or do you want wins? I won't wins. But I also, they got to do it smartly. So I was underwhelmed as everyone else. But when I see that Lindemont got 20, I didn't realize he got that much. And there's a gap between his salary and the next highest paid salary. A big gap. Well, look, it made sense for them to overpay for him. Right, they're going to have a rookie quarterback. And they had the most salary cap money. They don't have any big dollar guys. They traded Crosby.

11I mean, it made all the sense of the world. They were able to pay them that. That's their business. For us, we couldn't do that. Maybe it makes sense for them to pay 27 million to their number one drop. And Pierce didn't want to come. So what can they all from 30 million? And then Philips, you say, okay, I can get Philips for 30 or I can get out way for 25. I'll take, I'll take out way. I'll take all way. Oh way, whatever. These guys, they got to, I hate all these things. Whatever I have to smith. Well, they had to press to smith. He's not named smith. Outweigh. Yeah, you don't want him anymore. Oh way, I don't know how to pronounce any of these guys names. Penn State, dude. I like a doffe. That I can do. I'm looking at some of the responses on our Facebook page here for you. They're setting themselves up for love in the draft, which we just talked about. Maybe Brian writes mediocre, but we needed defensive and bad. I think you could be excited though. Let's say, let's say love goes to the Titans. And then I'll tell you, I'm kind of obsessed with Caleb Downs. Like they say, like not only is he an elite athlete,

13he's elite, there's mine. They say like he's immediately gonna be the smartest guy in your defense, right? You know how important that is at the safety position. If they get Caleb Downs and then you come back in a second or third round and you get like, this is my Washington guy who apparently really vaulted himself with what he did at the combat and running the fourth. But I have to be third unless they acquire a second round. So say you get him in the third round. No, that'd be great. I'm happy. It's a need. It's a need. I like it. But they have to go out and get another receiver. Well, I think they're gonna sign on you for sure. I really believe that. He's a big question. But dude, I saw video of him running routes with the Niners like in that little bit of time that he was there. He looked fine. You know, like this the whole reported the knees damaged beyond with the pale or whatever. I'm not buying that. I'm not buying that. I'd rather sign like Romeo Dobbs and just leave, leave Brandon Ayuk to somebody who wants to deal with that heading. I'll take Dobbs and Ayuk. I could see that scenario.

13Okay. So I think Ayuk's not gonna be break the bank. What's the next most important position you believe they need to address today? What is he doing? He's a receiver. I'm not. He's a receiver and no tight end. And centers. I don't know, but give me your number one. I don't know, but safety is up there too. Maybe receiver. I'm gonna go to tight end. Safety receiver. Tide ends up there. I mean, there's so many needs, dude. It's all behind back or they need that. Do you want to run it back? Oh, no way. Okay. It's impossible that I run it back with Bobby Wagner. It's impossible. If I was involved in an organization, no, I'm saying see you want to be. What about Jason? I brought him up earlier. He'd be another good edge piece if you're able to acquire him. He's young. K-Nellis. K-Nellis. I don't think he signed. Okay. Look, we might have kind of lost. I can't believe they have Bobby Wagner ahead of those guys on the free agent list. Well, he makes a lot of tackles. We might have kind of lost day one, but we can win day two and three with some smart signings. Sure. You know what I mean?

You might win by not winning. Because if you had paid all that money to those guys, I'm telling you, you might have regrets. Especially if Pierce came in here and produced like a number of things. So the thing you gotta remember is they extended tonsil. I know. But that was a game. He wasn't a free agent pick up, but it was still money you had to spend. Yeah, I know, I know. As opposed to spending it on a free agent. Right, so they gave 30 million to him.

15And they gave, yesterday they gave 30 million to him and they gave 25 million to whatever per year. Right, but for a team that had so many holes, you would have thought that they would have filled more holes, but it can happen in day two. I was driving around yesterday listening to our pal, Chris Russell. And he was saying, you know, you can have, basically he was saying you can have two type of free agencies. Like you can go ahead and get your super high dollar guys, like your premium and you spend all your money there or you can kind of have the quantity. And maybe they're going the quantity route. Maybe they tried the premium, but they're going quantity route. They need the quantity. Right, they need like eight or nine starters. They need quantity and they need studs. They need everything. That's hard to do. That's hard to fill all those holes. They only saw, like if you want to call OAS stud, I think that's fair based on his production in L.A. Okay, he had zero sacks with the Ravens. He finished with seven and a half sacks. That's not a stud. I mean, Von Miller had more than a high school.

16His win rate and all that. Right, but in L.A. And the year before he was good in Baltimore, but let's say that was a stud. Tim Saddle and Robertson not studs. No, those are just pieces. Yeah, to round out the roster. Because having it a free agent, I think they had the second least guys signed to the roster in the entire league under contract. Well, and the money's not big for this guy. I'm expected today, while we're at par city, have it surf sides and watching guys, you know, try to hit long drives. There's going to be a signing or two where we go. Okay, I'm assuming today's going to be a some addition. Maybe it's a conquer. That would be it's brisker. That'd be nice. Those those would be to fall. Maybe it's dogs. Dogs would be a nice. I thought dogs would be snatched up on day one. I'm surprised he's still available heading in today too. Yeah, maybe his market isn't quite as robust. May be right. People fought. I guess what? What if the bottom falls out for Samuel? And they can get Debo. You guys just out on Debo. What if they get Debo for like 12 million a year, bring it back to the project.

21I'm not against it. Yeah, I'm not either. I don't think Debo is going to get 20 million, which came from all the paying and 20 million, which I know that it's not going to be. I don't know how they figured this out, but they say the market value for him is 15. Yeah, 13 to 15 is what I saw. Yeah. All right, don't forget coming up later. Ben Valin will join us at 745. We'll talk NFL free agency with him. And later on the show, Jay Grudin, former skinshead coach. He'll join the show coming up at 9 a.m. This episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance.
