Draymond has had his in print on this day as he posted on the camera for install to run. An inspiring performance by the Warriors, one of their better wins of the season, they come into Ace Town and come away with a 115-113 victory. Yes, yes, what a win for the Golden State Warriors a couple of nights ago, a surprising victory over the Houston Rockets in overtime. Warriors Road Trip continues tonight and we'll be all over it as well tonight right here. We'll have Dubs OT for you but we've got just Dubs for you here to tip off your Saturday morning on these sports leaders. John Dickinson with you, along with Kyle Har, along with Raff Carral, just three guys in hats talking who. Here on a Saturday morning, Kyle, what's going on? I'm a man good to be with you as always. Yeah, it's too lazy to do my hair today, so that's why we got the hat on and we usually do

as I change the header to just Dubs, but no, it's a great win and I thought the Nuggets win for the Warriors was the best one of the season, but this one right here might have to be up there with it. I think it's up there as far as the short-handed wins go. I almost think you need to have two different categories for Warrior wins. You have to have the team that they expected or at least it hoped they'd be able to finish the season with was Steph and obviously Jimmy and that's gone by the wayside. Now we're coming up on two months. Surprisingly, it feels like it's been about two years since Jimmy Butler went down, but hasn't even quite been two months about six, seven weeks, but the Warriors were starting to build some momentum at that point and starting to accumulate some quality wins at that point, but then obviously he goes out and those

wins have been fewer and farther between even after Steph Curry goes out with the game in Houston on Thursday night. One of the better wins for the Dubs on the season. All right, we're going to be with you here for the next hour. 808 can be our 415, 808, 5627. The number to jump in and join the conversation as it is just Dubs on a Saturday morning here. Golden State Lumberidge Showroom Textline is open and also the YouTube chat is open as well as we appreciate people filing in on know what looks like it's just going to be a glorious day wherever you are in the bay area and of course we'll have cactus league action coming up here on the sports leader about an hour from now, a couple hours from now, but pregame coming up in an hour for that and then of course we'll be back with you tonight right here on the sports leader immediately following the Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder. A lot of news as there always is relating to the Golden State Warriors in

addition to the game play of the last week here and we'll get into all of it. Christap's Porzingus will Christap's Porzingus play for the Warriors tonight? Well, it's still on the table. It's still on the table as I click the injury report for 945. I haven't had a chance to check out the 10 o'clock and I'm actually just going to pull up the 10 o'clock as they update it now every 15 minutes just to be sure and I'm looking just to make sure there's no new surprises although there could still be here over the course of this hour, but as things currently sit Christap's Porzingus questionable for the Warriors tonight. Seth Curry Kyle is questionable. He may play for the first time in about three months for the Warriors something about games against the Thunder. He played in his lone game this season against the Thunder back on December the second after being signed. So Seth questionable for the Warriors tonight along with the Anthony Melton and Will Richard. Will Richard's

been out the last couple of games for Golden State. So we'll see. I know I said on with Greg Silver in for Greg Papa yesterday that I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors gave some guys the night off tonight, but it looks like they actually may be getting some players back into the mix here tonight in Christap's Porzingus and of course the big ESPN article on the Christap's Porzingus trade and the mysterious nature of his illness and the expectation and belief that he was going to be able to play before he actually did and then return before he actually has after missing the game against Denver and then the games in New Orleans and Memphis going back a week and a half ago. It looked like he was going to play a week ago tonight when the Warriors took on the Lakers, didn't come to fruition and then not only did he not play last Saturday, but he didn't play Monday, he didn't play Thursday, but on the trip and again questionable at this point

is a positive sign. I think for Christap's Porzingus as the Warriors face this scenario now with 20 games to go and kind of being stuck Kyle as we've talked about a lot in terms of they're right there in the mix as far as are they going to be the eighth seed or they're going to be the ninth seed going into the play internament still could potentially be the tenth seed, but it's looking less and less likely like they're going to have the opportunity to move from eight to seven unless they go into Phoenix in the play internament and as I like to say steal that spot. The eight seed has a chance to steal the seven seed spot if they can win one game on the seven seeds home court and that currently is where the Warriors sit. They did pick up ground on the Clippers. Clippers had a lead against San Antonio that they let get away last night. The Spurs are just out of this freaking world right now winners of nine in the last 10 and I think 11 and last 12 as well if you expand that out but the Warriors nevertheless going to be taken

on the team with the best record in the NBA tonight and they're going to be doing it woefully short handed again in Oklahoma City before the Warriors go to Utah and then come back home for a couple of games before what's going to be a lengthy lengthy trip. But Kyle as you like to say the Warriors stuck in playing purgatory here with 20 games and about five weeks to go in the regular season. Yeah I was I was just about to say that but circling back to Porcengus. One I mean it was it was great news to hear that he rejoined the team and got to work out in because I think when news came out and Steve Kerr addressed the illness and called it a little mysterious you know we I didn't know what to make of it I didn't know necessarily one he would be back if if that meant that he would be back for a longer period of time or he would be out for a longer period of time but I think it's important for him to get back and and well one solely off

of the Warriors are down a lot of guys and he saw that against the Rockets where where they played three two way guys and if you include Pat Spencer for undrafted guys but and and look I think it's just important to see again to see what they have in Porcengus and to evaluate whether they should bring him back next year or not. Yeah and the evaluation to me is more just how often can he play and can he play consistently enough to knock off any semblance of rust and he was clearly rusty in the one game that he played against Boston but played better in the second half than he did in the first half which I think was was important to note but the problem with having somebody that can be potentially so in and out of the lineup is every time he has to miss if it's an expanded period of time let's say beyond you know one one game here or there in the midst of playing

four or five you start missing multiple games repeatedly and then every game you come back off of that injury becomes a game where you can say well a player just got to get the rust knocked off and so I think that's you know now if let's assume he plays tonight he plays tonight well tonight becomes one of those games where he's got to knock the rust off and and then you know if he winds up you know playing one of the next two games coming up in the in the back to back and then you have a couple of days before they play Minnesota that potentially becomes a game where you have to knock the rust off I think the hope is that they can get him in some kind of a rhythm and keep him healthy enough to be able to let's say play tonight play Monday it'll play Friday and then basically just play every non back to back the remainder of the season the problem is with this mysterious illness is the fact that at any point it feels like he could just wake up and not feel

well or start to ramp up his his physical activity and cardio and not feel well and all of a sudden it's not just he's going to miss a game but once he misses a game it might take him two weeks to get back or a week or again a longer period of time in terms of recovery and and and re ramp up to be able to return and that's the frustrating thing is you might get three or four games and then he's got to miss five games and then you come back and you knock off the rust did he place four games and then he's got to miss a couple again it just that's the part that I think the warriors are trying to get some semblance of a of a handle on and into your point it determines you know what his value will be as far as a contract because Christophe's porcelain gas right now is is playing for his NBA future and let's be honest I mean at this point I think and I've said this a lot I don't see how any team in the league could look at Christophe's porcelain gas for next season right now and think that he's anything more than a minimum level player as far as the

veterans minimum go so you know depending upon the time of league because something will be right around one year and three million dollar basically the d'entity melt and flyer contract hey you have to prove that you can be healthy and productive and if you prove you can be healthy and productive then you'll have an opportunity to get paid in the summer of 2027 which at this point is closer to a year and a half away obviously than than being months away yeah no no dad his his value right now and if he proves for the rest of the season that yeah one you know inconsistency in how many games he's going to play and and to maybe inconsistency when he does play in his play because he like you said JD has to knock the rust back off and and I think that will pretty much equate to some team maybe it's the Warriors maybe not but some some team literally just taking a flyer on him yeah so the Warriors a tough situation for them again tonight we'll see how things shake out

but a tall order against Oklahoma City but despite the fact that the Warriors are not going to have obviously Stefan Curry they're not going to have Jimmy Butler you know Traymond Greenhouse surprise didn't pop up on the injury report at all for this game and again it's another one of these disappointing NBA showcase ABC games and the Warriors have been on a bunch of these last week they play the Lakers a couple of weeks prior to that they had the the game against the Lakers in LA I guess that was a month ago now tonight the game LA and you know the the partners are not getting what they paid for as far as the the big time the big time TV deals and a lot of the the star players being able to to play but the Warriors continuing to get the contributions from unlikely areas and you saw it in the form of of L.J. Cryer getting an opportunity to play he Santos continuing to be impactful Brandon Pajemski Brandon Pajemski turning a corner for the Warriors I'm not going

there give me another month plus before I'm going to say Pajemski's turning a corner but the most recent game it felt like for his maligned as Pajemski and Traymond Green have been that it was a a a almost a bleep you kind of a game for the for the haters a little bit in Houston and and Traymond again showing and and I think this is one thing you have to be careful of and it really unfortunately for for Golden State everything is just so skewed right now in terms of the talent level that they're being forced to play with and how it can constrain the evaluation of what exactly you have heading into an offseason where the Warriors are really going to have to look to be far more aggressive than they've been to this point if they're going to improve the roster enough to to get out of hell I don't even I always say get back into you know cracking the window of

contention open they have to get out of the play in purgatory option at first and foremost and you know that's been something that they have not been able to do here going back to 2023 and really going back to to win the Warriors won the last championship when they were the three seed in 2022 they avoided the play in by the final day of the season in 23 to get the six seed and play Sacramento and then they're the 10 seed in 24 even with a better record than they had in 23 and then even last year they fought to the last day of the season similarly to three years ago couldn't quite beat the Clippers on the last day of the season and wound up having to fight for their play in lives against Memphis and if you recall I mean that game the Warriors they could have easily lost that game down the stretch against the Grizzlies they wanted they won a first round series but again the inability to build a roster that's been able to avoid

the play in purgatory has been something that I think has been maddening for Golden State and when you look at the age of the roster and some of the means by which they can look to reasonably improve unfortunately it just feels like they're feels like they're stuck and only compounded by the muddier waters as it relates to being able to evaluate what they truly have here over the last five weeks of the season in conjunction with what they truly need moving forward here into into next season. I mean that that's kind of the frustrating thing is that you know you have this older team and look they're they're not going to get any any better and it's not like you have a young core of players that are also improving at a at a drastic level so where yeah you're going to be a top six seed guaranteed in the coming years like no that that's not happening so

the the issue and and we've talked about the issue at the front office is is the inability or or the unwant to and not making the the moves to push your chips all in on on right now because well yeah you have an aging team and and and the I mean you could say the one dough is open or close whatever but in order for this team to improve there there needs to be the the necessary moves to to make that happen. All right 808 can be our 415 808 5627 if you want to jump in here in the remaining 45 minutes or so on the phone lines warriors with 20 games to go including tonight's game at Oklahoma City will also get into the YouTube chat best YouTube chat in sports that just dubs and dubs OT community as we get things rolling here there was another part of the ESPN article which was centered around Christophe's porzingus and and that trade and and the porzingus

illness and it was a nugget about somebody that the warriors checked in on shall we say at the deadline we'll get into that name next and should the warriors continue to pursue that player and another older player that I do think is going to be on the move here coming up in the summer just dubs with JD John Dickinson we got Kyle and Ralph Ralph in the the daily series studios I just changed my last name a little Rath Barbieri Ralph that's right right yeah exactly Rath Barbieri we're rolling along here on a Saturday of the sports leader the sports leader hey everybody Brian Murphy here for my friends at Provident Credit Union and do you ever feel like your money's just sitting there and not growing fast enough and definitely not working as hard as you are well if you're saving for a home improvement project a trip you've been planning are just

all right welcome back JD Kyle and Ralph with you here on this Saturday of the sports leader until 11 o'clock and then back tonight following the warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder going to be another shorthanded affair for golden state to christavs porzinga's though listed as questionable so we'll see if we can get game number two of the porzinga's 10 year with the warriors 808 can be r415 8085627 we'll talk about another potential offseason trade target or could this player be a free agency his future potentially in limbo as well that's coming up here in just a second to a more from the youtube chat as we get things rolling here on this saturday on just dubs but let's get to the phone lines and start with our buddy jt and oakland who's up first here on just dubs hey jt what's going on this morning good morning how you doing today beautiful day uh yeah gorgeous so um you know i root for guys who play hard all the time and bradden for jensky certainly does that

the effort is there but you cannot rely on he might score four points tonight i mean i think rick berri talked about that he's just he's not a guy you could rely on especially as a starter now where i see him the bench spark plug because when he's when he's playing well he's getting his shots when he's under control jt we're losing you there let's get jt on hold here real quick graph i'll comment on a couple of those things i agree with you on pyjemsky he does always play hard i do think at this point in a perfect world he's more of a backup player than a than a starter uh pressed into action given all the injuries and and everything to me it's almost always about the shooting and the scoring and i don't want to make too many conclusions off of the way that he's played lately because there are still these games and halves of games that are

just maddeningly frustrating but every time you're maddeningly frustrated about bradden pyjemsky what does it come down to it comes down to shot making shot selection and just the ability to put the ball you know to put the ball the basket consistently and when you look up a lot of nights he just doesn't provide enough scoring punch on a team that right now because there are shorthand it needs more scoring punch and so it's almost directly equated it feels like that on the nights where he is able to get into the 20s and hit shots the warriors are in those games if not even win those games now and and when he doesn't you look up at the end of the night Kyle and you're really frustrated because you just you're just left wanting more and and i think it you know he just has the inability to consistently provide what you want in that way well i i think what what the caller was also saying in terms of you know a guy who always plays

hard because he is and and he does a lot of the little things while he rebounds very well for his size and his position i mean what let's not forget the Denver game where before he he went off and turned into Steph Curry for those five minutes you know he ended the night with 16 rebounds and nine assists and uh so so i think the thing is is not that he doesn't try hard because he does and and he does a lot of the little things well it really does come down to and jd you you touched on it just the the shot making aspect and and the and this is a team that without Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler you know you could see it even more with with pods now the the lack of shot making yeah and it's just it's consistency that that has to be the the the you know what comes and and does the runway to be able to play through mistakes and you know

it's kind of a lot of the things we would always talk about with Kaminga uh you know and and some they're not getting that leeway to be able to make mistakes because the focus was so consistently on having to win and and be this playoff team and and try to be a contending team you know can Pajemski benefit into what level can he benefit from going out there and struggling and then playing well and then struggling and then you know maybe it leads to some semblance of of consistency that that can be translated to to next year because I I think that's the that's the unenviable job that might done leave he has and and hopefully uh for the warrior Steve Curry if he returns next year it's the decisions on what exactly this current group is providing that translates to a team with much higher expectations it's it's what you know it's Moses Moody was starting to level up and he's going to be out tonight still with the the wrist injury by the way it's Moses Moody was starting

to ramp up in the Steph Jimmy world and then he had been able to maintain or level up slightly again even in the aftermath of of both of their injuries but what does that mean as it relates to to next year and and you know is Moses Moody a starter next year you know bona fide starter is he somebody you'd prefer to have coming off the bench do you really have a choice depending upon you know who else is on this roster I think similarly it's Pajemski right it's just Pajemski have to be somebody that's a bench player does he work his way into being a starter do you want to start him and Steph next to each other in the back court that can make you know Pajemski more defensively I think vulnerable at times so but you do need his rebounding and his ability to connect and all of those things but to me that the frustration with Pajemski is is almost solely based on shot selection and shot making because sometimes when he's not making shots he turns down some shots

he gets caught in between he's kicking grenades out to other people with you know the the shot clock running down because he doesn't want to take a shot and also kind of learning what are the good shots when Steph is playing and what are the good shots when when Steph is is not playing and I think that's another one of those things where ironically he and Kaminga kind of similar in the fact that you know there does seem to be a little bit more of a of a freedom when you're not in that Steph universe to be able to more confidently not you know take and knock down shots that are available available to you all right let's get to the the YouTube chat and then we'll get into some of the discussion about Kauai Leonard whose name popped up in the ESPN article with the warriors checking in on Kauai and the Clippers not as open for business to quote the story from Ramona Shelbert and Anthony Slater as it may have appeared when they made the Zubat's move and obviously

the big move with James Hardin and flipping him for for for Darius Garland so that coming up here in just a second but let's let's get to the YouTube chat Kauai let you take the reins pods is the youngest man on the warriors why don't people realize that E.B here yeah no that's that's a fair point that is a fair point I mean maybe we are limiting his growth I also think that the thing that pods deals with and and he is his own worst enemy with some of the things that that he's said about his desire to you know grab the torch from staff and those kinds of things he sort of said the things out loud in some ways that Kaminga was hinting at behind the scenes or through his agent and again when you say it you have to have the ability to back it up but the one thing and he hasn't been able to do that and look I think pods also gets hurt by the frustration of the inability of any of these warriors first round picks to turn into a star and I do think it's

somewhat unfair because nobody really projected Brandon Pajewski to be a star in fact Brandon Pajewski was projected to be the opposite of a star you know he was supposed to be the quintessential even at a young age coming into the league at 1920 was going to be able to just be a solid high you know high floor low ceiling you know potential player but to to E B's point do you really want to limit you know at still such a young age what he just turned what 22 or 23 22 right I think you just turned 22 like a week ago no that was 23 23 sorry I was getting my getting my years confused here but yeah Brandon Pajewski's birthday was on that road trip so that was yeah February the 25th so yeah 23 for Pajewski as we now are and for for some reason I was still counting us in 2025 Kyle

so yeah no 23 and in fact we are in in 2026 they all blend together but I think the other frustrating thing with Pajewski he had a really good rookie season all all things considered and and I don't think he's made that jump that one would think after having a decent a decent rookie year well like it seems like it feels it feels pretty stagnant the the the following two two seasons right if you show what he did there's kind of a hope that there's going to be improvement and and I think what we may find is he was pretty much the player that he's going to be for the most part I do think the shot making is something that obviously can improve you know as time goes on through we've seen plenty of players to their NBA careers that that had far worse shots than Brandon Pajewski be able to become far more consistent over the course of of their careers

but I think you're spot on with that I think it is a situation where because you're like oh this guy is pretty good maybe better than expected at a young age you know 20 years old three years ago right or two years ago and you're thinking okay like maybe this is going to be a find in terms of somebody that continue to grow because he did start out you know in comparison to the other warrior first round picks Pajewski was better than all of them immediately like that that's just a I mean he was better than Wiseman his first year he's better than Kaminga's first year he's better than Moody's first year like he's better than all these guys but there hasn't been the level up and he certainly isn't the player that's you know toolsy enough to think that you've got a super high ceiling maybe to begin with there all right let's keep it rolling in the chat here on just dubs pat H what's up brother hey JD struggling to understand the direction of the franchise the

trades of pool and JK have netted nothing of use yeah the pool trade ended up being a salary dump and to me the the direction we've talked about this a lot the lack of direction wasn't trading pool after signing him to the extension and it wasn't even trading pool for Chris Paul it was not using the Chris Paul salary in an attempt to bring back another player and look it ended up you can say working out because they wound up with a bunch of players and salaries that they could break up and and end up sending in a Jimmy Butler deal but let's be honest the Warriors kind of fell into the Jimmy Butler deal I mean they get credit for it and it and it worked out to the tune of his warrior people like to tell you the fourth best record in the NBA over the span that Jimmy Butler was a member of the Golden State Warriors from the trade deadline a year ago until when he got hurt back in January fourth best record in the NBA for Golden State but they fell into Jimmy Butler

they fell into Jimmy Butler because Jimmy Butler fell out of favor with Pat Riley and with Eric Spolstra and with the Miami Heat and the value for Jimmy Butler diminished to a point to where the Warriors could could get somebody as talented as he was because he was disgruntled for Andrew Wiggins and and filler and the one first round pick that the Warriors were were willing to part with no matter what in a draft that wasn't nearly as deep as as say this year's draft so I think the direction of the franchise is try to win now with Steph but to your point Pat H the Warriors have not in the moves that they've made appear to be fully committed to that they're definitely not committed to a tear down and a rebuild or just an allowance for a bunch of these young players to to be able to kind of get run away while losing but they haven't necessarily

been willing obviously to trade these guys or look to trade future draft capital in an attempt to kind of go all in and I think it's interesting you know Mike Dunlavy had his interview with with Tim Kawakami that we played some cuts from you know within within the week here and there there is kind of a nonchalance to well we we're trying and you know Jimmy got hurt and you know you don't want to risk too much in the future they just are risk averse which I think is not not what you want to see as you watch Steph Curry you know slowly moved toward his 38th birthday which by the way is a week from today his 38th birthday is one week from today and so we've we've I think seen Steph Curry play the last of his 37 year old basketball because I don't think he's going to be coming back I mean I don't think he's going to be coming back before next Saturday with only

tonight and and obviously the re-evaluation point coming on Tuesday so he's not playing tonight not playing Monday not playing Tuesday when he gets re-evaluated and then the next game after that is a week from last night against Minnesota before the long road trip if if I had to guess right now I think Steph Curry's coming back on March the 25th I think he's coming back first game off of the Warriors long road trip on opening night for the Giants against the Yankees I think it's going to be Giants Yankees and it's going to be Steph returns for the final 10 games and against 10 games is not a lot of travel also so it is it you allow him to get re-evaluated you allow for him to get the required ramp up without pushing him and I'm starting basically let's say on the 10th which is you know three days away so you have that two-week ramp up at that point from from when you hope he's cleared on Tuesday to resume basketball activities and get back on the court maybe

doesn't need the full two weeks but you give him the two weeks and then you go through the long road trip and and you know New York and Boston and Washington's mixed in there Detroit I mean there's some tough games on this trip Atlanta potential Kaminga revenge game Dallas at the end of that trip long trip long trip six games and in nine nights you continue the Steph ramp up there and then you bring him back with 10 games to go with that that game on the 25th against Washington and the Warriors at that point only go to Denver that's the farthest they go they go to Denver they go to Sacramento and they go to LA the the final they have a they have a trip to I mean it's it's all home games other than that it's it's two home games Denver and then they've got a home stand I think it's what four I think it's four five game home stand right there four game five game home stand I guess five right and then and then they go to Sacramento and they go to the Clippers and that's the final

road trip of the year they play in sack and then and then they fly down to LA so basically no travel at that point the the last couple of weeks three weeks two and a half weeks of the season for the worst I think that's when Steph ultimately is coming back and that's when they'll they'll ramp things up on on him all right let's let's let's take our second time out 808 can be our we'll get into the quiet stuff coming back and more from the YouTube chat as we kind of close things up here just dubs the power hour of just dubs before we hand it off to giants baseball and we'll take it back coming up later this evening with dubs OT after the Warriors take on the thunder right here just dubs JD these sports leader sports leader hey everybody Brian Murphy here for my friends at Provident Credit Union and do you ever feel like your money's just sitting there and not growing fast enough and definitely not working as hard as you are well if you're saving for a home improvement project a trip you've been planning

final segment about 10 minutes to go here 808 can be on the phone lines but we'll get back into the YouTube chat as well let's get a couple of chats here there's a few texts I want to get to but let's let's run through some rapid fire chats and this brown always a pleasure to hear from andus they have to finish at least eight the goal has to be seven getting two cracks to playoff with home games is their best ideal situation with this old roster yeah I don't think they can get seven unless they they steal it in the plan tournament I think they're capped at eight I know they are I think three games back technically of Phoenix and the Warriors do you have the tie breaker over Phoenix just for the purposes of the conversation I'm going to make sure I have my standings updated here in the in the home studio yeah the Warriors are three and a half back of Phoenix three in the lost column but again the Warriors have this road trip coming up they playing Minnesota coming up they're playing the Thunder tonight you know again you'd think they would have lost to Houston

you're kind of counting tonight and and maybe that Minnesota game although you never know what the timber wolves sometimes they'll lay an egg against some lesser opponents but they're they've won five in a row and are playing better better basketball so I think the pathway is hang on to eight which gets you a chance to win in Phoenix and steal the seven and then if you don't you get a home game against the Clippers or the Blazers but it's going to be tough I think for the Warriors I think the Clippers are are playing better and have more talent than the Warriors at least currently so the key to getting eight I think Kyle is going to be you know can they win the Utah game and the Chicago game and the Washington game and say the Dallas game you know those four games or or you know four games maybe you don't win one of those games but you steal another

one that's unexpected as they've done a few times but to me it's can you win it's kind of crazy when you think about it because it's a lot of games here coming up but it's it really is can you win those four games before I think March 25th and then get step back but even then we're talking about I mean you know with tonight with the the Minnesota game that I that I just mentioned of it you're talking you know three and three three and four three and five three it's I mean you're talking about four and six in the next 10 if you can win you know those four games the 10 that have the lead up to March 25th and you have 10 games to go with with 20 total after that and then some more winnable games potentially with step back from there so I think that's that's the key can you win four of the next 10 and I think you can see that the games that are targeted there Utah Chicago Washington and then Dallas on the road trip because it's going to be really difficult

for the Warriors to beat anybody else without step so I think that's sort of the pathway there and this and then we'll see maybe Steph comes back a little bit earlier but then you look at the standings overall four and six and the next 10 for the Warriors and that winds up being you know 36 and 36 basically with with 10 games to go and then you see where you're at with relation to the Clippers and you do play the Clippers to close out the the season so good one from andis let's roll through here JD my fear with this team is when Curry comes back a lot of the players will get star struck pods and moody defer too much a lot of stagnant offense at times that from jokes on you now they're going to have to keep playing with the flow that they've had and I you know that is going to be something to watch for but they're going to these guys are going to have to play with the flow and the confidence because I do think among the players that are left on this Warriors roster I do think they are players who historically have shown the ability to play

with Steph but it definitely has to to be a lot of nights the team game and then Steph has the ability to kind of pick his spots in in certain moments where he feels like kind of take it over and dominating good one from jokes on you let's roll through Greg chiming in the porzinga trade I mean I'd rather have kept Caminga and all his food eating family at this point yeah I said this on on dubzo t after the game and I've said it a few times it just was not tenable for for Caminga to to return and has nothing to do with his his food eating family take taking the post game spread nothing to do with that but yeah I think Caminga and I've said this like Caminga remaining on the Warriors I don't think would have been good for Caminga because he would have been such a focal point that I think there would have been more resentment from some of the other players that they're trying to develop I think by removing Caminga from the equation they're giving Pajemski and Moody and Gi Santos and others opportunities to grow

and I really do think that the Caminga would have had to have been almost chewhorned into being a focal point which by the way Atlanta has not done with him to this point as we illustrated throughout the the last week and a half here he's just been kind of a roll guide it's been turbo charged and not doing too much and and scoring is 20 a game in the three games that that he had played so I think that's more the equation and you look at it where things currently sit there so I think there is a little bit of a addition by subtraction component for Jonathan Caminga as it relates to to where things kind of kind of stand Caminga questionable by the way for tonight left knee inflammation the hawks are taken on the Philadelphia 76ers all right let's keep it rolling in the chat digham I wasn't a pods guy but I think he just has to play a little more consistently manage his mentality when things aren't going well for him yeah you can tell he cares if anything you just

over thinks and I think he over thinks his way into some stupid decisions at times whether it's bad passes whether it's bad shots he has the weird combination of it times appearing to be irrationally confident Kyle but also at times has the ability to not look confident at all given the way you know certain situations go on and I think that makes him all the more frustrating from time to time there's games you're like damn pods thinks he's like a dude and then there's other times in the same game maybe if a shot or two don't fall in or he makes a mistake where it's almost like he shrivels up and is afraid to make any kind of mistake well I mean let's just take the Denver game for for example and and I think this kind of eclipses pods perfectly where where you know starts one for ten and then and then goes what five for five six for six to to end the game and and and actually come up with a respectable

box score and and let alone kind of win them the game there but but then but then yeah there's times where you know it's late in the shot clock he can't get anything on his own and then passes like grenades his teammate and it's like whoa whoa whoa whoa yeah and it's like what are we doing here uh florida upset I'm with Kyle use these games to evaluate kp the young guys as well the bench could be better next year if we make the right choices uh cryer and and Williams yeah cryer Williams wouldn't be bad 11 to 15 options I think on this team and this drain must have had a nice night in Houston for his birthday uh must be refreshed uh and and ready for tonight we'll we'll see what happens there pods gets too much hate from Irwin uh for getting what seems as preferential treatment from Kerr he's at or slightly better than his draft position as a late first round draft pick with three years of development it look Kerr's harder on him than I think people think

also which is something that kind of goes uh unaccounted for all right we'll continue the conversation tonight appreciate everybody in the youtube chat uh kawaii just real quick we got a minute we'll we'll get into more of it tonight on on dubzo t are you interested in kawaii with the clippers trade kawaii to the warriors uh he is making 50 million next year unless the NBA rips up his contract or suspends him better shot maybe to get kawaii if they void the contract because i don't see the clippers trading him to the warriors but the warriors checked in on kawaii kawaii and lebron are the two o g's i think i would keep tabs on if i'm the warriors for for next year how about that for like a nine hour tease for when we come back tonight at uh at eight o'clock on dubzo t think think on that one chat think on that one think on that one and uh we'll we'll get into it again immediately following the warriors and the Oklahoma city thunder big thanks to raff
