Warm Blip in UK, Then Sharp Drop

High pressure is moving in, pulling warm air from the continent and replacing the wild winds and rain. London and the southeast could climb to 21 or 22 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, peaking at 24 on Wednesday. Manchester might touch 20 degrees, with mostly dry conditions and some sunny spells. The storm hit hard up north, with gusts up to 93 miles per hour in north Wales and widespread power cuts plus travel headaches in Scotland, Wales and Northern England. Folks are still cleaning up from that mess. But hold up, Thursday brings a sharp drop to 10 to 14 degrees everywhere, with showers rolling in and winds picking up again in the northwest. By Friday, Met Office says it's all about shifting wind directions this time of year. Over the weekend, expect temps around 10 degrees in the north and 14 in the south, as things stay changeable.
