Warehouse Assault Preceding Nottingham Killings

0:00On March 10th, a public inquiry into the Nottingham Attacks has revealed that killer Valdo Calacan assaulted two co-workers weeks before his deadly rampage. On June 13th, 2023, the 29-year-old stabbed a death to 19-year-old university students, Barnaby Weber and Grace. O'Malley Kumar, along with 65-year-old Ian Coates, and tried to kill three others. The trouble started on May 5th at a warehouse in Kegworth, where Calacan word briefly for logistics firm. He punched a male colleague in the head twice, and then kicked and shoved the man's wife when she tried to help. Warehouse staff who stepped in described Calacan pacing silently, staring right through them in an eerie way. One manager told the inquiry, he seemed mentally unstable, which fit with Calacan's known history, a paranoid schizophrenia.
