Waltham Forest Pledges E-bike Return, Bucking London Trend

But Waltham Forest is bucking the trend with a pledge to bring back dockless eBikes, including Lyme, if they win the May elections eight years after. Scrapping a previous scheme, Houndslow kicked off the band's last August by picking rivals Forest and Voie instead. Richmond followed on March 16, granting Forest an exclusive deal, leaving Lyme disappointed. Other spots like Brent Threaten Bands, but added parking base to keep them going, while the city of London seized over 100 bikes for pavement, parking. These issues hit hard for pedestrians, especially disabled folks and parents with kids, as abandoned bikes blocked paths and raised road safety flags. Waltham Forest boasts top-notch cycling spots from its 2014 low traffic push, yet its last eBike try with Urbo flopped after just 10 months. Now Lyme, Forest and Voie all want in on Waltham Forest action.
