Agencies like Forest Products Commission couldnt even list what they owned, while a cemeteries board stocktake in September failed to find one hundred eight items out of one thousand two hundred ninety-seven. Other lost gear included a one thousand seventy-nine dollar pole pruner, a spray gun, and a four thousand eight hundred thirty dollar vital signs monitor from health services.

All five agencies have pledged to fix their systems, with North Metro TAFE and the cemeteries board highlighting plans for better tracking despite daily use challenges. Officials say improvements will roll out soon to prevent future losses.
