This is Vincent prime time live from the circus sports book in downtown Las Vegas on Vincent, the sports betting network. Final hour of decent prime time tonight. It's going to be a good one because we are tied. St. John's and Duke headed down the stretch. It's 65 all. Duke now the favorite again. The favorite keeps flipping on the live line. Duke back to two and a half point favorite 157 and a half to total. Will Hill, my co-host tonight and Will. St. John's had a 10 point lead not too long ago, but blink and you miss it. This game is tied. We knew St. John's could go through scoring droughts and we just witnessed it. Yeah, and you were on top of this. You said, you know what, it's not going to be easy. We've all seen enough of these games to know, especially when it's the favorite. The onesie, Duke, they're going to make their run. St. John's was just hitting everything from three. That has quiet a little bit. So look, we would have all signed up for this at seven o'clock Eastern here, you know, right before the game tipped off.

65 all with, you know, five or six minutes to go. I think Duke has some free throws coming out of the time out. St. John's 12 of 26 from three. Duke is made four threes here. As this looked like, let's see. So it was a push from St. John's into the screen. I don't think they found the shooter, but I'm not sure. I don't know if you have a better idea. What the call is, they're actually reviewing it. So I don't think anybody knows here. But either way, it's going to be some sort of a foul on St. John's and Duke, you're going to have the ball or free throws or hopefully not both is 65 all. Yeah, it's a foul against the player setting the screen for the three point shooter. It's not a three point. It's not going to be a three. Oh, that's a flagrant foul. He hit him in the face. That's what Jackson hit the Duke player in the face. And we had a flagrant foul call anyway. Check out the shot here from the sports book. It is jam packed in here tonight. I'm not joking. It's a standing room only for the St. John's Duke game and also Alabama Michigan. This hour of Veecent Prime time is brought to you by Ed's Boost. New users sign up with promo code Veecent.

Tonight headed down the stretch in St. John's and Duke. And the blue devil's missed two free throws after that flagrant foul call will. But Duke is going to score here to go up 67-65. So say goodbye to that 10 point lead. Duke now up by two in St. John's playing catch up here with under six minutes to go. Four and a half has lived a line on Duke. Total 157 and a half. Well, you keep talking about the three point shooting for St. John's tonight, 12 for 26. But they have gone cold and you kept saying at some point they're going to go cold and that's happened now. Yeah, not a great three point shooting team, not even a good three point shooting team. And they were lights out from three in the first half and a minute or two into the second half. But they just can't quite get the ball to go through the hoop

here. This last handful of minutes, they have another miss. Duke has the ball now in the lead. And now you start to get into danger territory if you're St. John's. You can't let this become a four five six point lead. Two, you really need to stop right here. So looks like we've got a foul on the floor, a pivotal on this estate in the office, a pivotal possession or two here for St. John's to just stop the bleeding and get this game back to even. You can't let Duke start to pull away here and make this a multi possession lead. They've been a little bit lucky here in the St. John's perspective. Well, because Duke has missed three consecutive free throws. They've left some points off the board here. It's 67, 65 Duke up to and we're headed down toward the five minute mark in this game. It's right. Now, I really don't believe St. John's gonna win the game at this point. We just got to cover the seven. You and I have got plus seven here with St. John's and there's a lid on the rim. These guys cannot hit a shot of a sudden, a 10 point lead has turned into a two point deficit.

And if you got St. John's, you're gonna have to sweat this one out. I think it's pretty obvious. Well, we're gonna be sweating this one out down the stretch. Are you sweating yet? Yeah, and rooting for St. John's to win the game. And like you said, that you're starting to lose a little bit more faith, play to play here. But I think the optimist view of St. John's, like you said, Duke missed the two free throws. Then they missed a one and one, which is essentially like leaving two more points on the board here. Maybe those points, if St. John's can get a stop here, maybe those points can come back to bite Duke, but they desperately need a rebound, which they will get. And this becomes, I think the biggest possession of the game so far, Matt, St. John's needs a bucket or at least get to the foul line and get some sort of points on the board. They just gotten very tight. The rim seems to, like you said, have a lid on it. Very important for St. John's to get even or get the lead here, they absolutely need a score. Their defense is given to them a shot. Duke is giving them a shot with their missed free throws. But at some point here, St. John's has to answer. Well, guys, they got a score on a rebound, a second chance opportunity here. And one, got to foul, the foul actually went against Duke.

I thought they were going to call it charge. The ref on the baseline actually called that a blocking foul, which, well, that's a question we'll call. I thought the defender was saying. I think he was under the circle. Huh? I think he was on the line, that little circle. Are you sure? OK, I thought he was outside the circle, but I didn't see the replay slowed down enough to show off his feet were outside the circle or not. But anyway, it's not going to be reversed. It's a blocking foul. Bryce Hopkins gets the bucket. And one, he's going to, well, St. John's going to go up to here. So I don't know if they get to rebound off the miss free throw and score. Let's see what happens here. Hopkins misses the free throw. And that's why it happened. St. John's gets a rebound and a dunk to go up 69, 67. How about a four point possession when you absolutely need it? Will Hill says you've got to have it here. And St. John's gets a four point possession there. And Duke is going to answer with a three. So this game's about to go over the total with four minutes to go.

Duke is going to take a 70 to 69 lead to get answer that four point possession with a three. And that's Isaiah Evans with the step back for the left wing and nothing but net right there. So Duke, up by one, just under four minutes to go, we're going to have a TV timeout coming up here soon. A media timeout at the stop of action, I believe, which is coming up here in about 10 seconds. St. John's got the ball and driving to the bucket. And what do we have here? A misjumper by the Johnny's scramble for the rebound. Duke's got it. No timeout yet on the four. 70, 69, Duke's got the ball, two and a half point favorite, total 155 and a half. And the clock kicking down towards a three minutes here with a duke holding that one point lead. By the way, we're underway now in the second half in Alabama, Michigan. Wolverines come out hot in the second half. And they're up 52 to 49. Live lines back up to eight and a half here. Oh, Duke gets a bucket and one opportunity.

And there's your guy, Carlos Booser, back on TV. Well, I know you love the Carlos Booser shots. But we get an and one Cameron Booser drives right, gets bumped, puts it in off the glass, duke up by three, Booser going to the free throw line. He's probably going to make it. That'll put duke up by four with three minutes to go. That's going to be a sweat with St. John's and the points. Michigan up 52 to 51. Or Alabama, two and a half minutes into the second half. Well, was that a foul? Did you think Booser got foul on that? Didn't have to call it. I don't know. There was some contact, but didn't have to call it. If Duke ends up winning this game, which I think we both probably think they will at this point, that three by Evans, which was contested. St. John's had all the momentum. The four point play, they captured the lead. You figured Duke, maybe you just hope that those points came back to bite them from a St. John's perspective. But Evans absolutely drains a three with a hand in his face. And it goes from being a two point deficit to a one point lead. And man, if you're St. John's and you could have gotten a stop

there up to with the ball. Who knows? Maybe you're in good shape to get a score and put the game away. But Duke answered when they had to. And look, St. John's has answered every time. Duke seems to look like they're going to pull away. St. John's has answered tonight. First half, second half a few times. They're going to need one more answer here. Because Duke, like you said, going to the line to make it a two possession game. So if he makes it, St. John's absolutely imperative again that they score and they keep this game within shouting distance. Yeah, that's what I said. We're going to be sweating. I don't think St. John's going to win the game at this point. And by the way, the live money line is Duke minus 620. St. John's four to one on the take back. I think they blew their opportunity there. Well, I thought you put it very well. St. John's had a momentum after the four point possession. And Isaiah Evans hit that tough step back three. And then Booser follows with the bank shot and the end one opportunity. And just like that, Duke took the momentum right back three minutes ago with a chance to go out four with the free throw here after the time out.

And you're up one. Now the sudden you can be down four. And when you're catching seven, you're going to be very uncomfortable here with St. John's. I think you're right. Well, I feel like they blew their opportunity here. I'm not going to say it's over. But I feel like we're going to be sweating this plus seventh. Yeah. And St. John's your figure is going to be fouling to the end. And you hope they don't just go cold. And a four or five point lead goes to a nine, 10 point lead pretty quickly, which we all know can happen. When you got the dog, happen to me the other day, when Miami plus eight and a half on some really good numbers. And it was a four point game, like 50 seconds to go. Next thing, you know, miss free throws, miss free throws, and it lands on 10. And you just want to pull your hair out. So we'll see here. Games not over, but it looks like Duke is in good shape to at least win the game. But again, a few minutes to go here. And I will say this going forward. And we're not advancing Duke yet or anything, but they continue to just not look like the team. They were at the end of the regular season ACC tournament. They won, but they look shaky. They have now trailed in the second half of all three of these games. Sienna, TCU, St. John's by double digits.

So if Duke does advance, whether it's Michigan State or Yukon on Sunday, I would give either one a puncher's chance because Duke is not looking invincible. Caleb Foster, the point guard with the injured foot, is back, and he's played 15 minutes, seven points to assist. He has contributed for the blue devils. So Caleb Foster coming back has helped them tonight, but he was not in the starting lineup. This hour, a visa and prime time is brought to you by Edgeboost. Go to Edgeboost.bett and get your edge today. All right, Michigan. Surging here to start the second half, down by two at the half, it was 49.47. Seven to two run to open the second.

54-51 Michigan. Now seven and a half point favorites. 182 and a half to total there. Duke up 73-69. And Duke has the ball back and 222 to go. The ball knocked out of bounds. I think it's going to stay with the blue devils who are up by four and a half possession. Quick time out here on V-SIN, prime time. All right, we're back. St. John's down 3 here, final 40 seconds, 77, 74, Will Hill. At humans, we have a nervous sports book out here, whether you laid the points with Duke. Or you took the number with St. John's that's headed right down to the wire. Will, there's a timeout on the floor here. What happened? I couldn't see here. Was there just a timeout or a foul call? It looks like Duke called a timeout with 18 on the shot clock, 40 left in the game. So you don't need to foul if you're St. John's and it was a timeout as Patino is lighting into sellers there. I don't know what sellers did, but Patino right in his face just screaming and yelling. But hey, you can play defense here if you're St. John's. They've had a hard time getting stops. But if you can get one here, you give yourself a chance to tie the game and depending on how much time is left, you wouldn't need a three right away. But St. John's here in good shape to cover the number. It doesn't mean they're going to. And this is where it gets important to get the six and a half of the seven because it could easily get the seven.

But right now, if you're St. John's, you just get one stop and you've got a chance to get yourself back in the game. So timeout, we're going to a commercial. But a big answer, a big couple answer. St. John's hit a three to cut it from six to three. And then had a bunch of second chance opportunities to get it from five down to three. If they missed either one of those Matt, it turns into a foul fest. And then it's anybody's guess where this game lands and Duke might pull away. But hopefully from a St. John's better perspective, those last couple shots, especially the one to get it from five to three is enough to keep St. John's within the number here. But need to stop here. Yeah, you're right about that. This is our V some prime time is brought to you by Edge Boost. New users sign up with promo code V. Send. And Edge Boost will match your first positive up to $50. Go to Edge Boost stop bet. And use promo code V. Send to get started today. Ball back in action. Duke's got it out near mid court. St. John's defender all over him. Don't foul the dribbler 40 feet from the basket here. With the shot. Shot clocks under 10. What's the. What's the call? They're a foul on St. John's.

Will. You're a little ahead of me. We're about to find out. And I does look like they got a foul on St. John's, which would put Duke in the one. You don't want to do that with the shot clock winding down. Shot clock. At least it's a one and one. We'll see here. I think it's boozer shooting free throws. That is a dumb foul. Well, why would you foul boozer with the shot clock under 10. He's six for six of the line tonight. And Duke was going to have to put up a bad shot late in the shot clock. And that's just a ridiculous foul. Anyway, Duke. Up 7774 if we could get a miss from boozer, that would be great. I'm not going to count on it. He's at the line. And he misses. How about that? All right. Hey, John's got the ball. Our foul. That's nice. We'll see if Johnny's. Jack up a three here to try to tie the game or do they take the two. With the game clock. Well, the game clock's down to 15 seconds. Puts up a two misses. I think there might have been a foul on Duke there.

St. John's going to the free throw line. Looks like that's the case. So be edge of four. Going to the line. Let's look at the free throws tonight because. Talked about how I hoped we'd have a fairly officiated game. And. St. John's not been to the free throw line much. That was a foul on Duke edge of four going to the line. St. John's prior to these free throws tonight. Only three for six at the line. Duke is 12 for 20. So 20 to six. Free throw attempts in favor of. Duke. But I can't say will we've been. You know trying to watch the game while we're calling the action here. I haven't watched it close enough to say that St. John's getting a bad whistle tonight. Because I don't know if that's true or not. But the free throw attempts are very lopsided in favor of Duke before these two by edge of four. And by the way, he is going to make the first. And I believe he's going to miss the second. So let's see here. And he does miss a second.

Duke gets the rebound. Duke's going to be fouled purposely here with 10.8 seconds to go up by two. 77 75. While we've been caught up in the action in St. John's Duke trying to get the red storm to cover the seven. Michigan has started to pull away from Alabama a little bit here 70 to 60. Wolverines now up by 10. Live line 13 and a half total 187 and a half. This is an eight oh run by Michigan over the last minute and a half. And Alabama actually is going to hit a three to stop that eight oh runs of 70 just 60 is lead with just over 12 minutes ago. Duke has a free throw two free throw attempts. Coming up here. It might be a one and one. I think we're into the double bonus for them. I thought that was the last one and one. I'm pretty sure that was the last one and one. I can't read the graphics. I don't know how many team files have got here. But if you say double bonus.

That works in Duke's favor up by two. With 10 seconds to go. We definitely want to avoid overtime in this game. I'd love St. John's to win it to keep that 90 to one futures. Bet alive. But. Just be happy with the St. John's plus seven cover at this point because that looked like it was headed the wrong direction. There for a moment with Duke took a six point lead here with about a minute to go in the game tonight down to two Michigan up by 10. Will. With tens 11.2 seconds to go in the clock. Obviously a lot depends on whether Duke can hit both of these free throws. What do you think is going to happen here in the final 10 seconds. I think that's going to be a great time for the St. John's got to get up a quick three. If Duke is up by only three, they're going to foul, right? They're not going to let St. John's get off a three attempt. If they're only up by three late. Anyway, let's just watch it and see what happens.

Isaiah Evans. He's about 86% free throw shooter. He's had a big night for the blue devil. He's not the free throw. I'm Duke's had a problem with free throws here down the stretch. And Isaiah Evans is going to miss the first. Up 7775 Evans is going to make the second here. They'll give everything away, but he's going to make the second. It's going to be a three point lead. And I think without seeing what's happening, I would assume Duke's going to foul. Not let St. John's give it off the three point attempt. The tie the game of force over time. Here we go. Johnny's inbound the ball. I think darlings got it in the back court crosses half court. Duke should foul right now. They don't foul. He gets off the three point attempt. And it's no good air ball. I think Duke's going to get the ball. Yep. Duke's going to get the ball in a dead ball situation. Dead ball rebound 1.8 seconds left up by three. Are you a little bit surprised that Duke did not foul there and letting him get that clean look for three. I am surprised. And not only did he get it off, it was a pretty wide open look.

I think it maybe hit part of the rim, but a a wild miss here. And now you need a miracle if you're St. John's. You need to somehow go for a steal even a quick foul. It's not going to do anything because what's I mean, what are you going to do? You get two misses from the foul line and then make a 90 foot three. I mean, this is miracle time. You absolutely need a steal. But barring barring that miracle mat. Duke is going to move on. St. John's is going to cover. We know anything can happen. All of those caveats. But this seems about over here as they're showing the replay. And maybe that hit part of the backboard. The three there are nice move from darling to get open. And boy, he had a chance, but he missed just about everything on that three point attempt. Yeah, he was a hero for St. John's and that victory against Kansas last week. He was two for four from three tonight. He had an open look. I can't believe Duke gave him that open look up by three. But like you said, I've got to light my eye in front of that screen. I couldn't tell if it was an air ball or if it barely scraped the rim. But he was off the mark and Duke's going to get the ball back.

13 for 32 from three point range. For St. John's tonight. But when they needed that one from Dylan, Dylan, darling to fall. It did not. And Duke's going to win this game. 13 for 32 from three. If I told you that before the game, well, you would think, you think John's have a great shot to win this game. And they did have a shot to win it. Yeah. They had the last shot to tie it. And it came up short. Isaiah Evans, 25 points. Cameron Booser, 20. Duke didn't miss nine free throws to keep St. John's alive. Late in this game. So two seconds left. Luke's got to inbound the ball. Likely get fouled. Hit one free throw and put the game away. And now those futures bets on St. John's be dead. But we will get a cover on the St. John's plus seven tonight. Assuming this happens. Sorry, Duke. Inbound's ball. I believe it's Booser who's been fouled. And he will go to the line. There's your guy. Have you seen Carlos Booser yet tonight?

Well. Is he related to Cam Booser? I believe so. I believe so. It's kind of like showing Taylor Swift during the NFL games. We get how many shots of Cameron or Carlos Booser during these Duke games. Anyway, Cameron Booser at the line here with 1.5 ticks left. Duke up three. And he is going to make one that's going to ice this game. It's over. St. John's out. Rick Patinos headed home. And Duke survives again. Well, we keep saying this. Duke survives. Duke survives. At some point, somebody's got to knock off Duke here. But this team just keeps finding a way to surviving and advancing. It reminds me a little bit. I don't know if you remember. I'm sure you do. The 2019 Zion Williams in team was close to being eliminated against Central Florida in the second round. Virginia Tech in the sweet 16 and I think it was Michigan State. Eventually got him in the lead A. We'll see if that pattern continues because. Could be looking at a similar Michigan State matchup where they just kept avoiding and kept avoiding it.

And eventually they got picked off. 80 to 75 is your final score. So if you got St. John's plus six and a half plus seven. Pass the tickets. You got Duke on the money line. If you got Duke futures. You win. Right there. 80 to 75 final Blue Devils over the red storm. And Rick Patino is out. John Shire and the Blue Devils moving on. All right. We're going to talk more about Michigan State Yukon. We're quite a ways to tip off in that game because it's in Chicago Alabama. Michigan have a long way to go in the first game in Chicago tonight. Iowa State a three and a half point favorite. 139 is the total. What are your thoughts there with the confirmation that Jefferson is going to be out? You took Tennessee plus four and a half, correct? Got him plus four and a half. I just thought this line would be closer to two two and a half. It doesn't mean those extra points. You know that I'm right or anything or those extra points are going to get me home. But I just think Iowa State shaky free throw shooting team. Tennessee's athletic. They can rebound. They can get second chances on the offensive glass. And I don't think you can overstate how important Joshua Jefferson is to that team. You know, they got past Kentucky the other day. And boy, that was a dismal performance from from from Pope and company. Sunday afternoon against against Iowa State.

And I was on Iowa State Sunday. But to me, this is a different animal. This is a very athletic Tennessee team. I think this game is again closer to like two closer to one possession game. So I don't trust Rick Barnes. I never do. But I will take the points here with with Tennessee. And for you, this is why this is a stay away. You think what Iowa State just the better shooting team here? I like Iowa State to win this game. I don't like playing any points with Jefferson being out. But I'm chill a bit. Damon Lipsy. I think cyclones have a little bit too much offensively for Tennessee. Pretty good defensively too. But Jefferson being out to big deal. That's why I'm not thrilled about handicapping this game or see a great play here. I was impressed. Or maybe depressed in terms of other Kentucky side of it. How did Iowa State embarrassed Kentucky so badly without Jefferson last week? Well, it's one thing if you're Mark Pope and Kentucky to get beat in that game. It's another thing to get beat down and humiliated.

That was a terrible loss for Kentucky. When you came away from that game. Were you more impressed with Iowa State or more depressed about the state of Kentucky? That was pretty embarrassing for Kentucky, especially Kentucky. The first score, one of the first scores I saw was 20 to 8 Kentucky thing. Maybe I'm on the wrong side of this one. I probably am laying points. I'm down and 12. But well, you never think of team quits. You never want to say team quits, especially the NCAA tournament. But that was a questionable effort and just an abysmal performance there from the Wildcats. Kentucky knocked out and that's just getting knocked out. It's the way you get beat sometimes. It takes off the fans and puts the heat on the coach because when you get embarrassed against an Iowa State team that's missing one of its best players. And we're talking about Joshua Jefferson. That makes it even worse. Adds insult to injury. I was state one that came 82 to 63 and Kentucky bat out of the tournament last week to the Cyclone's team.

Which have full strength. I think it's definitely capable of getting to the final four. If Iowa State were full strength, I think Michigan would have its hands full with that team in the next round. Now that's of Michigan advances. Right now it's 75-62. Wolverines. We're in a lot of trouble here. It looked like a one point. But they have pulled away to lead by 13. Now the live line 13 and a half total 180 and a half. Congrats to you, Will. You had a first half team total bet on Michigan over 44 and a half that got there. And then now the Wolverines starting to impose their will on Alabama. And that inside strength, that front line of the Wolverines, I thought it was going to be too much for the tide. But not shooting Alabama team is not out of the game yet with nine minutes to go. It's 75-62 Michigan. So coming up after this Michigan State and Yukon. And Huskies at Draft Kings now two and a half point favorites. One and a half at Fan-Duel.

Two here at Circa. Total 136 and a half. We've got plays on both sides of this game. A bunch of plays on both sides on Michigan State and Yukon. Will you and I are both on the Yukon side. But one thing we know is both these coaches are going to bring it tonight. And their teams are going to bring it because Danny Hurley and Thomas will have it. No other way. These guys demand maximum effort from their players. And you're going to get that tonight looking forward to seeing Hurley and Izzo go after these officials. I would hate to be an official calling this game tonight. Wouldn't you? Yeah, how about if you're an official and you got Hurley versus Corona on Sunday. Then hey, it's your lucky day. You get Yukon again against Michigan State. And I don't know if he saw this. Hurley was talking about how, you know, he's hard on the players and a lot of people have a problem with it. But society is too soft these days and the kids need it. Well, well, yeah, don't give away the whole clip. We're going to play the clip of Danny Hurley talking about that right now. Okay. You could speak for Danny earlier. We can let him speak for himself.

This is Danny Hurley talking about the media having an issue with tough coaching. What do you think it says about the culture that people see, you know, yelling or hard coaching. And somehow think that's a problem. Yeah, I just think that's, you know, society. We've got soft in a lot of ways, I think, with, you know, trying to develop young people. I think young people, the teachers and coaches that impact their lives the most are not the teachers and coaches that like gave them a grade they didn't deserve. I mean, you remember the teachers and coaches that pushed you to your maximum. You know, pushed you beyond your comfort level that got the most out of you, that English teacher that, you know, made you do the work and the tests were hard. And you had to study hard and just think the same thing applies to coaching. You know, we've, I feel like I got a responsibility, you know, I coach 18, 19, 20 year old men. There's a lot that I got to instill in them. There's a lot of discipline. There's a lot of accountability. There's a lot of commitment that I've got to instill in them to prepare them for the real world, the real world is tough.

It's cruel. You got to be, you got to be equipped. So on the flip side of how I'm driving them and pushing them to be the best that they can be and prepare them for life. I'm also, I got a very close bow on my players. I love them. They know I love them. And a lot of our relationship that the media doesn't see or times that we spend, you know, together laughing, joking, making fun of each other. You know, you don't see that part of me. You, unfortunately, just sometimes see the monster. You know, well, when I think Hurley says it very well there about how you tough on players, but it's also a tough love where the players respect them and have a great relationship. Bob Knight was in Indiana in his later years, this is last 10 years. I don't think he had that given take with his players. I think he just gave it all the time and the players had to take it and that's the difference. I think Izzo and Hurley are tough on their players, but they also have great relationships with them for the most part.

And I like these two guys a lot. Now, they're annoying as hell when you watch the games sometimes because Hurley never stops chirping at the officials is those the same way. And that's going to be nonstop tonight, right? Completely agree and completely agree about night and it got to the point where people didn't want to play for him anymore. I've heard about his good of coaches I've ever seen, especially in college basketball, but I mean, it's a harsh word, but it got to the point, at least from the outside looking in it seemed like he wasn't hard on the players. It seemed like it was abusive at a certain point, but I will push back on Hurley. I don't think people criticize him for being hard on the players. People understand, you know, you're hard on these guys, you get the most out of them. What you just said is spot on people criticize him because he's constantly whining about the refs. It's the behavior towards the refs. Nobody gets on him for being hard on the players. The results speak for themselves. The guys seem to love him, guys play for him. It's the what you were there there. I think in Maui last year against Memphis where he made a fool of himself. It's the decorum on the sidelines towards the ref. People don't knock him for how he handles the players.

Great point by you. That's that's and that's what the media missed in that telecom for just a day. They're talking about. Oh, you know, you're too tough on the players and people don't like that. No, that's not the case at all. We know he's tough on the players. We know is those tough on the players, but that's okay. Tough coaching is fine. Stop whining with about the officials whining with the officials about every call is though does the same thing. And I like is a lot highly respect. Tom is though, but these guys are bitching at the officials every trip down the floor. They never stop complaining and whining and that's what I think annoys us most about Tom iso and Danny Hurley. When I was at the Maui invitation last year, you're right. You can't finish last and Maui lost all three games. And Hurley was writing the refs in game number one from in the first minute of the first game. And at one point after a call to win against Yukon, he flopped and fell on the floor and totally embarrassed himself. Do you remember that when he fell on the floor? Yeah, it was a completely, I think it was over. I know the Memphis one. There was an over the back that was in question. He just lost in mind, but he was completely out of control.

And again, nobody says, oh man, this Hurley, I like him, but he's too hard on the players. It's the constant whining to the ref. So he's arguing against something that's not a criticism. You and I are hoping he gets a cover tonight because we're both on Yukon. Yukon minus one is real bet. One and a half is a contest pick. And I believe you and I had the way what in the contest to be lay one and a half, I believe. I think it's one and a half and not two. But anyway, the line out there's one and a half or two. And draft Kings, I believe, just went to two and a half on this. So a little bit late to lay it with Yukon and draft Kings. Money lines minus 140. Ed's Boost not bet. promo code Vs and he gets started today Michigan up on Alabama 78 67 live line 12 and a half total 175 and a half and Will Hill looks like the Wolverines in position here to close this one out. But will they get the cover laying nine and a half. That's a big question right now. Yeah, in a look pretty good effort here despite being down double digits pretty good effort by Bama because if you look at Michigan 12 of 24 from three and you know this map when Michigan shoots the three well they don't just beat teams they bury teams that was their great run around the holidays when they were shooting the three well and they were just destroying everyone in their path 20 30 40 points. So the fact that Michigan has 12 to 24 from three in the tide has hung around and is you know within range to at least cover this number and played a respectable game.

I think they deserve some credit it looks like they're going to fall short it reminds me a little bit of if you remember the final four game a couple years ago against that great Yukon team when Alabama played well shot well had their chances they just weren't as good as Yukon. They must played about as well as you could expect they've shot the three pretty well to I mean they've 13 to 40 so you'd like some more makes here but you know not a terrible performance here 21 to 59 from the floor but a game effort from Bama but looks like it's probably going to fall off short. Well Michigan continues to miss free throws they're going to leave the door open for the tide to sneak in here if you're if you're betting the Wolverines laying the points more as Johnson just missed the first of two. That was after another free throw miss from Michigan. I think Johnson's going to make the second here 538 to go 79 to 67. As the clock ticks below five minutes Michigan's going to go up 81 70 81 67 Alabama is going to answer with a three so 81 to 70 here with a 434 to go tied hanging around. If you laid to nine and a half or whatever number you laid with Michigan you definitely not comfortable with that right now let's take a look at the circuit college challenge standings as we head down the stretch will. We have about 10 plays left roughly 10 plays left or so in this contest including tonight's games we're going to have four plays for the elite eight games on Saturday and Sunday and those will be out on a V-SIM pro email Saturday afternoon.

Before the two games tomorrow Iowa Illinois and Purdue Arizona you have two more games on Sunday so we'll have four plays the next two days we'll have two for the final four semis and then one for the championship game so after tonight seven plays left in the contest but it's tight on top leaderboard Paul Stone the defending champ in first 21 and 15 going into tonight with 22 points. Tim Murray Christmas Sarah right there with 21 chip Tremis John Vontobl Aaron Moore Ken Thompson me will Hill David Deneen all right there in a part of that traffic jam so you got about let's say 10 handicapers here with a shot. And will you're one of those handicapers I did get a best bet winner with St. John so I'm up to see I'm up to 21 points. 19 and 18 overall four and one on best bets 21 total points will you had you had St. John's in the contest right let's take a look at your picks for this round.

No I don't think so you did not play St. John's okay I did not use them for whatever reason I really liked them plus the points but I don't know I went with the Iowa Nebraska total under which was a loser winners with Arizona in Illinois and then I took the points with Tennessee and laid it with you cons so somebody had to be the odd man out. You know you know sometimes it's just a matter of which ones you pick you like a handful of games and you got to leave a few out you know we've all been through that but no got Tennessee and Yukon pending two and one so. Would like to string together a run of like four or five six in our own get back in the mix but so far it's just been. You know trading punches trading wins and losses and that's obviously not going to do it in a contest format here well you got two winners with Illinois in Texas last night if you get Yukon. And Tennessee tonight you're going to be in pretty good shape actually with the four and one and that's what I need here too because I've got a three and one right now I've got Illinois Texas winners last night. St. John's best bet winner tonight I did lose that St. John's Duke total under I'm just going to have to quit playing totals I can't win those hitting about 40% on totals during the tournament so.

Price just plays sides here Yukon minus one and a half my last side tonight with nineteen and eighteen record four and one on the best bets that's good for 21 total points you get a point and a half for a best bet winner. Well let's look at tomorrow let's start with the early game and by the way do you like the schedule you like to tweet about these sports schedule when you're unhappy with the way games are timed are you okay with this because. The first game on Saturday is not until 3 p.m. Pacific well Iowa Illinois is that too late to start for you. It's okay the fact that we have baseball off the look at the baseball schedule which I have my issues with today follow up a great opening day and exciting opening day with not much the next day in the afternoon I get a little but as long as we have baseball I'll be okay but it is a little weird you wake up for how many weeks how many months in a row Saturday college basketball it starts at noon and you're ready to go to sort of sit there tomorrow if you're just a college basketball fan and have nothing to watch or bet from noon eastern till 60's turn that's going to be a long long way it's going to be a bit of an adjustment here after we're used to so much baseball not so much college basketball non stop on Saturday's especially the last couple weeks with all the NCAA tournaments and conference tournaments.

Yeah no question about it I was surprised actually these games are starting so late on Saturday I love it I imagine a lot of people want to complain about it but I like the late starts basically three o'clock and six o'clock Pacific time the first games Iowa Illinois Cinderella this dances without a doubt the Iowa Hawkeyes it was high point in the first round but at this point it's night seated Iowa trying to get to the final four for the first time since 1980 and it's been more than 25 years since the Hawkeyes been this deep in the tournament actually to the sweet 16. This is a great run by Ben McCollum's team knocking off number one Florida getting by Clemson in the first round in Florida than Nebraska now facing Illinois and will we've seen this game before it was in Iowa City the line I get out to a big early lead Illinois gave up most of that lead but end up holding on the win 75 69 that game was on January 11th when you handicap the match up here in the lead eight round

There's a matter much to you when you go back and look at that meeting between these teams over two months ago. It's a data point but it's not anything unless I go back and look and I find something glaring it's not something where I'm going to put too much stock into it you know I know you're someone like me I don't like lane points. I'm usually dog or past this seems like a whole lot of points to be given McCollum who's a good coach a good coach is a dog they slow the pace they can muck it up. I haven't bet it yet but if I if I'm going to be betting this game it will be taking the points with the dog or nothing here I'm surprised I know Illinois is better than Iowa the rightfully favor this seems like a lot of points doesn't it. Yeah I'm inclined to take the dog here I'm not sure if I'm going to do that yeah Bennett Sturts had only 12 points in the previous meeting. I was a game the Alina led by 11 and a half time. I believe they had a 17 lead point lead early in that game led by 11 and a half time into pointing by six Sturts shot five for 17 two for eight from three had only 12 points.

But the Hawkeyes hung with the Alina that game wasn't I was sitting but that's a long time ago about Purdue Arizona. I think there were very few people on the planet who think Purdue are going to pull up. Purdue is going to pull off the upset here but what about the number at six six and a half maybe you see seven tomorrow you inclined to play the favorite or the dog in this one. Yeah I thought Iowa Illinois was a little long a little heavy when I saw that and I thought this one was a little light I think it was five and a half which I grabbed it. You know I probably prefer Arizona team total over probably try to get Arizona and some sort of a money line I don't like laying points. That being said if I had to take it or lay it I'd actually probably lay it I just don't see a path where Purdue gets many stops I know Purdue they've got this habit of you fade them when they're a favorite you take the points when they're a dog I get that. But I think Arizona is going to have their way with them on the offensive end is that is that your take on the game I know you've got a good feel for Purdue. You know I mentioned that today to Chris from Sarah I see you got to be careful with this I know a lot of people are overconfident that Arizona is going to run over Purdue here but with the boy or makers.

You fade him his favorites and you play him as dogs this is the biggest dogs by the year and the last time they're a dog in this range they beat Michigan in the big 10 tournament championship game so I wouldn't underestimate them they're going to have to get hop from three to stay in it though. But I think you're going to have a majority of bettors public bettors for sure on the Arizona side and that game stay tuned I'm not sure if Ryan Kramer is back from Cabo yet but I know that Sean Greens here in the sports game with podcast is up next. Will Hill great job tonight man we got to say jobs cover have a good weekend. Fun show man see next Friday I stay tuned to be sending the sports betting network.
