1:26Those people expected the total dropped in that game, and it's definitely on an over pace right now. Final minute of the first half. Duke 39, St. John's 37. I mean, what more can you ask for getting a bunch of points down to? It's just the way we've gotten here feels a little bit unsustainable. The fact that they've made eight threes. Now, maybe you can make the case. St. John's eventually steps up on defense and Duke is not going to shoot this well. But I can't imagine St. John's continues to shoot this well

2:28in the second half here. So feel okay. All things considered, I mean, we were talking about this a few minutes ago. When it was a seven point game, I said, don't let this get any further. Get this down to three or four and you'll feel all right. So the first half spread, very much in play here, three and a half. We're in a timeout right now where Duke will have a chance here. They'll need to score and get a stop in order to cover the number. If you're St. John's, I think you just need one stop and you can hold for the last shot and cover that number. So we'll see here. All things considered, I feel okay. I just don't know how long St. John's can keep up this shooting. Yeah, I did not bet St. John's first tap, but I'm going to pull for those who did bet to Johnny's because you and I have him for the game plus seven here. So St. John's got to get a stop. And that's one thing he's been surprising in this game will. The lack of stops by St. John's. We've talked about this team's defensive intensity, defensive toughness. How well they harass guards. How well they rebound? Well, Duke is winning the rebounding battle, 17 to 11. Duke is 14 for 26 from the field.

3:30That's 54%. I'm really surprised blue devils are having this much success against the St. John's defense. Me too. And again, when you're St. John's, you don't expect to be winning the three-point line here by 18 points. You got 24 points from threes with eight makes and Duke has six points from threes with two makes. So we'll see here. I guess the hope for St. John's is you go in a half time, Patino is obviously a great tactician. He's a great motivator and you figure out a way to get some stops here, whether it's through X's and O's motivation, a combination of the two. And we can get this game down to the wire here. But like you said, St. John's going to figure out a way to get some stops now. That being said, Duke has not made a field goal in the last pretty much four minutes. All their points have come from the line here, Matt. Yeah, it's been a four minute drought for Duke was out of made field goal and that field goal attempt right there got swatted. And then Duke's going to inbound the ball under its own basket here. Isaiah Evans puts up a three, no good. St. John's get to rebound with 35 seconds ago.

4:31So about seven second difference here. It looks like on the shot clock and the game clock, you think Red Storm's going to run this clock down and take the shot as late as possible. Rick Patino looks like he's not going to call time out. And St. John's going to hit a three. How about that, Will Hill? 40, 39 Johnny's take the lead here. So another three pointer, a three point barrage for St. John's. That one drops with a seven seconds go. Duke's going to drive down and get the last shot. Looks like it's going to be Caden Booser who's going to be off the mark. St. John's rebounds at a one point lead at half time. Will, how do you feel now? We were talking about this when St. John's fell behind by about six. We didn't like the way things are going. Nice rally there in the first half. Yeah, St. John's led by six. Duke led by seven. The Duke leading by seven was more recent. And boy, if you threw Duke first half money line into a parlay, you're up seven points. You're the favorite. You're feeling pretty good.

5:31Just think about what that next leg is and you figure you got that one home. But if you bet long enough, nothing is ever saved. And St. John's no pun intended. Storming back here, a great finish to the half. And I don't know that they continue to basically shoot like they've got five staff curries on the court there at all times. But we'll see here they play a little better defense. They've shut the water off with Duke in terms of the field goals. And they take a one point lead into the second half. So they cover the first half. They win the first half on the money line, which I'd imagine was a little north of two to one or so right right around there. But a big finish here for for St. John's and company. All right, we have two games going on right now. It's not all about Duke and St. John's. Again, the St. John's lead is 40, 39 and a half time. And that is flying over the pregame total of 140 and a half. The live total of draft Kings 152 and a half. Duke's still the favorite in the game. Three and a half point favorite. 6:35Will. He's got a big crowd out here watching the Michigan game. He's a Michigan man. Wolverines a little shell shocked. I think to start this game, they were down 11 to two. Tide came out hot from three right away. But Michigan has rebounded to tie the score. And Alabama looks like it's now up 13 to 11 here. But we're very early in this game. Seven minutes into it. A little bit of hot start for the Crimson Tide. Yeah, I haven't watched a lot of this 13 11. Bama leads eight and a half to live line 173 and a half in terms of the total. So despite the early lead for Bama, not much movement in terms of the side of the total. The side is ticked down a point. The totals ticked up a point. Bama plus 290 on the money line here at draft King. So I have to get eyes on this game and get a feel for the pace things like that. But for the most part, this is, you know, expected a lot of points. We're getting that. I'm looking to see my one bet in here is the team total over for Michigan at 91 and a half. The live number is now 92 and a half. As Michigan hits a three and goes up by a point. So expecting plenty of offense here in this one now.

7:36I'm just looking with the half time or the first half team total is. I might go for a little action here now. I feel like I got some found money with St. John's. The team totals in the first half Michigan over 44 and a half. I'm going to make that a bet here. I'm going to add a little Michigan first half team total over 44 and a half. I like the way the pace looks in this one. Yeah, off that slow start of 11 to two, but they rebounded. They got 14 13 lead with that three that drops right there and will help playing over 44 and a half live on Michigan team total in the first half. Live number is of nine and a half back to where we started for the game. The total 176 and a half and that's a little bit above where we started circuit closed Michigan minus nine and a half at a total of 172 and a half again. A half time in St. John's and Duke 40 39 red storm got the lead over the blue doubles with a late rally and that half and much higher scoring half than we anticipated there with a sharp money pushing that total down from one forty three to one 40 and a half and a lot like the Nebraska Iowa game last

How about Michigan State Yukon Connecticut a two point favorite here at Circa one and a half at Draft Kings total of one thirty six and a half. Will you and I are on the same side here with the Yukon laid one point with Huskies this line opened on the Sunday night and what's the best case you could make here for betting the Yukon side. Hurley in a tournament game where he's one 15 out of 16 and covered 15 out of a six out of 16. Hurley out of conference where he tends to do very well. Even though it was an up and down year for Yukon they beat Illinois in Florida and that Kansas you know they they had wins all in non-conference BYU on a neutral court and I just think the three points shooting will come around. Mullins ball these guys have not shot the three well. The last few games three of 20 against St. John's they shot from three five of 25 against Ferman and eight of 24 against UCLA a lot of thirty three percent

9:44twenty twenty five percent at some point here these good Yukon shooters and they are good shooters are going to knock some of these down Michigan State on the other hand not a great three point shooting team and they actually made a bunch of threes recently so Hurley in a tournament setting some three point regression just it you can't really go wrong betting Yukon in these tournament games doesn't mean it's going to win tonight but it's amazing I don't know if you've seen some of these stats man I'm sure you have I didn't realize how much Yukon and this goes back to Calhoun when they get to the sweet 16 they do really really well and they can both the stats in a minute but their their problem has been getting to the sweet 16 once they get to the sweet 16 they do very well in these later rounds of the tournament so betting on Hurley betting on a little better three point shooting here from Huskies how about you I guess it's great coaching I mean if you if you look at Yukon in the success the Huskies have had this tournament over the past twenty five years or so it's remarkable I don't think enough has talked about it because you know a lot of times you talked about these teams trying to get over the hump to get to their first final four in so many years right we're talking about Iowa State trying to

10:45get to the final four for the first time since 1944 I believe and Tennessee trying to get to the final four for the first time ever Yukon's been doing this for 25 years routinely and winning the national championship and almost every time to get this deep into the tournament Danny Hurley went back to back 12 and 0 straight up 12 and 0 against the spread 15 to one ATS the past few years in this tournament I don't want to bet against Danny Hurley and I know Tom is those got March Magic but Alex Keriban and Terris Reed playing at a really high level in this tournament so far Keriban 49 points he's got 27 and 22 in the first two games Terris Reed 41 points and 40 rebounds like you said well the key tonight to beat Michigan State is going to be Braggland Mullins and solo ball stepping up and knocking down some threes and if they can do that I feel pretty confident that Yukon's going to win that game and I think they're due to make some threes those guys are better shooters and they've shown solo ball was one of the top three point shooters in college basketball coming into the season well Hurley had to bench him last week because he missed

26:15hot from three you realize the nine made threes in the first half by st johns were the most in a half this season i don't think that's probably a big shock for a poor three point shooting team like that but how do you feel right now after st johns reeled off eight points in a road taking four point lead feel pretty good they've answered a couple of punches here from duke you'd expect that from a patino team to be not only tough physically on the glass and defensively but tough mentally you know you know he's hard on them in practice and during the games and if you're playing for patino i don't want to say it's like working with you where you're going to develop a fixed skin and you're going to develop some toughness but there is some truth to that you play for patino you're going to be tough mentally and st johns right now we're down seven early they answered that we're down coming out of the locker room here after the duke run and they've answered that here with a pick six and they are now up by four and a long way to go here but looking good plus the points and boy i know you've got st johns futures i've got you con futures uh this this would be you know again thinking ahead here are you con st johns elite a game would be would be very good i think for both of us so

31:23maybe it lands on one and uh you know what if it landed on one with my eucon futures and i got him home and i had to sacrifice the one and a half in the contest i'd probably make that trade at this point to get them to the elite eight uh because it's funny that and i think you you mentioned you got the same ticket i bet eucon it was my only preseason future got him 15 to one to win the whole thing and here they are all you need to six wins the win the the whole thing or you need six wins they got two of the six and you can get like damn near double the number they're in like the 25 to one range at least they were entering the round so you don't feel great about that at least i don't feel great about that you know in terms of the number i got but i would like to certainly get them to advance the next round and who knows see what happens from there well when uh people ask me about my futures i always uh the first time i mentioned is Michigan right you got 20 to one we got team fully capable winning it eucon you know even though you and i have this bet on eucon you win it the past few weeks it has not felt like this is a team capable winning the championship right so you know you're not that excited about the 15 to one and i can understand why the market number is
