It's called Keep Bears Wild Call for Artists, and three finalists are competing for a $10,000 prize linked to a conservation project right. In downtown Juno, the contest kicked off under the company's sale and sustain program, taking artists nationwide to create pieces, celebrating Southeast Alaska's, wildlife, stunning landscapes, and efforts to protect them. Submissions wrapped up on February 13th, and now these top three designs are up for public vote. People are getting involved because the art will make a real difference in bear safety. The winning piece will cover a new bear-resistant garbage enclosure at Warner's Wharf, while the other designs turn into many murals on trash cans all.
