Veteran's Take: Iran Strikes - A New Approach?

John Ubaldi, deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq, and he sees this operation as very different from the large-scale wars he took part in. Unlike the Iraq invasion, where leaders called up nearly 300,000 reservists and built up huge troop and supply lines, there is no such. Mobilization happening now. Ubaldi points out that the United States is stepping back into Middle East conflicts without the same massive commitment. As a veteran, Ubaldi supports the action if it leads to clear goals, like replacing Iran's current leadership with one that promotes peace at home, and, with neighbors, while curving terrorism in the region. He argues that talks and financial incentives fail to stop Iran's advances, leaving military steps as the only real choice. Ubaldi questions critics on what other paths they would take.
