Vegas Golden Knights Acquire Nic Dowd

In the deal, Vegas sent gold tender Jasper Vickman, a 2027 third-round draft pick, and a 2029 second-round pick too. Washington, this adds more depth to Vegas' bottom six forwards, where they need better scoring and penalty kill help. Dowd brings championship experience from his time with other contenders. Meanwhile, the Capitals picked up solid future assets, including the 23-year-old goalie and those picks, while shedding doubts. $3 million contract for next season. They're balancing a playoff push with long-term building around Alex Ovechkin. Vegas holds a one-point lead in the Pacific Division over the Anaheim Ducks, with Edmonton four points back and Seattle five out.
